The End of October and FFXI

LBP servers are still unstable.
R:2 servers has been rather unstable since I started playing it a few hours ago.

I quit FFXI in 4 days, officially (for real this time). Well, technically today, since this'll be my last Limbus this week, and I don't do anything else in game besides that.

I think it's fair that I'm going to use up all my points for this last run to get whatever that drops. After putting almost a year or so worth of effort into Limbus, I deserve it. I see it as a parting gift.

EDIT: The run didn't even end up happening. We started losing people while we were waiting for a bunch of crucial players finishing up Salvage at the wrong time. They ended up doing an Apollyon run, while I went and had dinner.

Well, so much for FFXI.

Instant Noodles

The start of this week in life was good. School continues on at its pace. Work becomes more irritable week by week.

FFXI update: Level Sync. I tried it yesterday, syncing up with a level 30-32 party in Yhoat. I kept dishing out way too much hate as a 68 RNG, but it was still fun. I can't help but feel like it was still grindy though. And my upcoming lvl70 Kriegsbeil hasn't dropped in price since I last saw it. I can't afford it, and yet I refuse to feel gimp on my ranger. However, today marks my first day for CHEAP LIMBUS. Cheaper Limbus equals cheaper ABCs (I hope!).

WAR update: Open beta started, though I haven't been playing much still. Now that FFXI is somewhat interesting again (I refuse to get sucked in!), it'll be hard for me to play more on WAR, especially when I've played through the Dark Elves story over a billion times now, and knowing it'll be wiped yet again when the game's released later this month.

As I'm filling my tummy with this awesome bubble tea, I need to force myself to make [and eat] some instant noodles later for my project. (Yes you heard me, it's for SCHOOL.)

Silly FFXI

15. Apollyon - MNK (ohshit I have the set now!)
16. Apollyon - BLM (uhoh does that mean I should finish lvling this)

It's great. I can just imagine myself quitting with a shitload of garbage.

My feelings for FFXI right now: Get myself a Limbus piece with all my points (a la Homam/Nashira) and call it quits. Then maybe join the rest of the gang when they return to finish the WotG story.

I somehow stumbled across a FFXI account selling forum.

Wow. I can make over $1k USD easy.

If I really wanted to.

I am a garbage collector.

I'm becoming a Cire.

10. Apollyon - SMN
11. Apollyon - WAR

On a different note, BLM burning through NW Apollyon is fun stuff. 3x BLM, 1 RDM, 1 BRD. Ripped it good.

Limbus

So I've been doing Limbus (and nothing but) since I came back from HK. Probably because I've been going with an experienced LS, it looks insanely easy every time. o_o

So a bit of my Limbus achievement timeline thus far (since now I have nothing else to talk about really...):
1. Temenos - BST
2. Temenos - BRD
3. Apollyon - BRD (stolened from Proto-Omega)
=. BRD Hands +1
4. Apollyon - BST
5. Temenos - THF
6. Apollyon - THF
=. THF Hands +1
7. Temenos - MNK (lol, dropped on me)
8. Apollyon - BRD
9. Apollyon - THF

Loquacious Earring O
Musical Earring X
Burtal Earring X

(is it me or have I gotten a lot of drops?)

Ample drops but not enough of those damn ABCs! Those damn coins suck my wallet dry.

Why didn't I win that effing lottery!

RIP Dynamis

After 4 years, I think I'm finally truly done with Dynamis.

Soon returning from my HK trip, I find out the latest dynamis ls I was with decided to call it quits. At least the last one I was with was pretty silly... so it was a nice way to end it off. Although there are still a few pieces I was looking forward to getting, but they came too late in my FFXI career anyways. Dynamis-Tavnazia would've been nice to beat too (lol christmas music?).

RIP Dynamis.

Don't come back and haunt me, ok?

A Semester of Excitement

Sept 2007~Dec 2007
School starts up again... we get this new teacher who transferred from Emily Carr and... he's hard D:! Then the usual other teachers...

So we have this printing class where we get field trips (!) to the actual printers to get some real experience. The printer places ranged from someone's backyard to a multi-building company. So unfortunately I don't remember all the places... but let me try and think! PacBlu - digital printing near 4th.. shared the building with some radio stations like TheBeat, has a Starbucks across the street, has a hidden second building... we went to Granville Island afterwards and sat at the park; Hazzard Screen Printing - screen printing in Burnaby near Metro... building looks skinny and small at first, but alas, the looks tricked us once again as they had a hidden second building as well... They did a lot of N64 game floor stickies, Iris banners; SomeGuy'sHouse (I forgot the name of his business... orz), but it was literally someone's house all the way out by New Westminister... he did the old school offset printing and gave us all a little memento letter block... he also did his own old school book blindings and did the printing all by hand.. impressive, and sadly it's going extinct; _____ in Richmond by Bridgeport... they do flexo meaning lots of plastic and the related packaging; Norampac also in Richmond by Viking Way = moar flexo.. this company that the one before this one work together often it seems; Hemlock Printers...; Blanchette Press on River Road, Richmond.. giant printing place.. lady from there also gave us the 411 on paper. On top of that, she let us dig through their garbage bin for misprinted paper and etc... we also got a pretty poster to bring home; Gryphon Graphics on Viking Way in Richmond did foil stamping and all the pretty shiny, metallic, sticker, embossing stuff; Lastly Pacific Bindery by Marine Drive right beside Coast Paper, did all the nifty binding.. which was literally everything imaginable. There we also had a guest speaker from R&M Laminating who did, duh, laminations come and talk about the different types of laminations on top of mmm samples~ We also had a rep from Coast Paper come by and talk... we also left with handful armsful of samples.

In our societies class, we ended the semester with a group project (as usual) and our topic was Asian Stereotypes (mainly the ones we are most familiar with - Chinese, Japanese, etc.) just cuz the topic's so broad. We had fun EXCEPT, we presented from my laptop and my "entertainment" remote aka. not suitable for presentations, didn't work so well lol. We also didn't bother rechecking the clips we inserted so some were not even properly cut =_=... それと、ある仲間はスゲーうるさくて、なまけものくさすぎたっ Never again, I hope.

Onto the gaming side again.. yes. Finished Gurumin, Tales of Eternia and Final Fantasy X (omg, finally? XD)...

Gurumin
Gameplay 4/5 - Pretty fun action adventure rpg... 'cept aiming where to jump and ending up missing... multiple times can get pretty annoying. And then landing into annoying lava-like gaps on the floor make it that much better.
Music 4/5 - Fun music, I liked.
Character 4/5 - The voice acting wasn't bad! Some were quite cute.. might be because of the character designs themselves.
Overall 4/5 - Ending battle was a bit confusing... But all in all good! Underrated.

Tales of Eternia
Gameplay 3.5/5 - It's old school style so I can't say too much about it. It's the original Tales game after all.
Music 3/5 - Good Sakuraba stuff. I hate the underwater music.
Character 2.5/5 - Voice acting is so bad...characters weren't all that exciting except maybe Meryl. However, I watched the anime 12-ep version before playing this too so... well, doesn't look like it changed my opinion of the characters :b
Overall 3/5 - Decent.

Final Fantasy X
Gameplay 4/5 - No complaints. I hate blitzball. Sorry that was a complaint.
Music 3/5 - Not THAT memorable. Perhaps I wasn't a fan of the rock pieces...
Character 5/5 - Great characters... good voice acting... can't stand Yuna tho... I think that's the reason why I'm not going to touch X-2 anytime soon.
Overall - Overrated. Ending was probably overrated... I expected something more! But the last boss was sad. :b A beam comes out of his EYE OMG, someone, shoot me now. With that eye beam and paralyze me while you're at it.

And other gaming... in the world of FFXI, there once was a Salvage ls. Lasted a dozen or so runs. Then people began to go their separate ways.... then now it's on hold. I got a lv15 headpiece if anything... not that I would wear it for anything, considering all three of those jobs that can wear it don't need it anymore. Most amusing run was probably the first Madame Poroggo run, most rewarding was the Rampart bee run, and the most crappy run... apparently I didn't show up for those lol.

AU. I swear I attempted 44 at least 10 times! I was so sick of the damn mission until I picked up a party a few months later to finally finish it. Wish I grabbed the +acc ring instead. Hurry SE, give me an option to change it soon!

This Dynamis LS also tried doing Valkurm and failed pretty badly. Sigh. Everytime I think about it and the fact that this ls can't do it, makes me wish I followed Fortune <_<;; And with this ls for 4 months, I only got RNG head. Wow... what a waste of 4 months x 4 hours of my Sunday life! Then they ended up having this whole drama series, when the leader retired, co-leader took over, leader returned, co-leader did not give back rights, fightfightfightfight. Now.. it makes me wonder if I should've just stayed with the messed up ls instead of jumping ship... since right after the holidays, the leader gets hacked and there everything went poof. RIP. *head to desk*

COP. Finished. With a bit of awesome effort. Didn't plan on finishing it ever... until a Salvage member who's static ditched him asked to static with him so yeah :D So Sea is wonderful... with their UFOs... coming out of nowhere... I get to watch my teammate get eaten right in front of me... then we mad run any other way possible lol...

Also Nyzul. Only lasted one run before things came up and it had to cancel. Wot the fuk.

Oh yeah, expansion. It's.... fun I guess. Campaign only lasts so long before it gets boring. I'm only able to get full points on BST so far tho hm -_-

More recently, out of boredom, I went and joined a Bahamut "Storm of Fates" pick up pt. It has made me come to realize how much I miss doing big group endgame events.. ;_;

There was also a wedding on Nov 29. I somehow made myself cameraman... I need to finish that video already.

Mission: make money. Yeah I need moar gilz.

Two Months Worth

Depressingly returning to work after an awsome trip (that just felt like a long weekend), things were back to "normal" again. Insanely busy work, only mere hours a day of 'free time' before having to go to bed for the next work day, too tired to do anything big, online shopping......

Speaking of online shopping... online shopping is such an exciting activity, is it not? The other day I finally bought clothes online! All this time, through my online shopping adventures, I've been over-worried about sizing and style. Clothing is one of those things you usually have to try on and see how well it suits you. This time, some of the stuff I've been eyeing for the longest time were on sale (!) so I decided to take this chance to take a chance. XD It arrives save and sound and to my surprise, they fit perfectly (minus two that were labeled "one size only" which turned out to be a LARGES D: -- might wash it and see if it shrinks on me). Now that I have clothes buying experience, I think I'll be doing more frequently in the [near] future~

You would think I'd stop buying so much after coming home from vacation and bringing back two suitcases packed full with good stuff.... hahaa.. that doesn't apply to me. :b

More on the topic of online shopping... MY LAPTOP! Finally decided to get one because I'll need it for work. I ordered my very first laptop the other day, ETA 2nd week of August. I totally spent too much on it! As my first AND just a laptop in general. But there was no way I'd go for something that I wouldn't be proud of lugging around and using. The two companies I drilled down to was Toshiba and HP. Toshiba mainly because of their comfortable touchpad I've used before and loved, decent builds, AND because it's 'Toshiba'! For HP, I have gotten a few negative comments about HP from a few of my friends, but I won't let that stop me. HP has more than just a few exceptional laptop builds... especially with the better GPU choices available and included, on top of good sound speakers (Altec Lansing!). That in itself is already a good enough reason for me to go HP. Built-in things won't do for me. So it was a nice try, Toshiba. Within HP, I had a few choices. However, still relatively limited for the Canadian market. My original choice was the dv9420ca from HP Canada. I tried to do some research on this model, but there weren't any reviews or comments on this machine at all. I also found myself looking at the expensive pretty stuff like the Dell XPS but was upset to see the value in price. By the end of my long journey around the online globe, I finalized on a dv9500t CTO notebook! I'll give my customized specs and my personal review when I finally get it. X3

Now onto the backlog...

Thu July 5 - Company BBQ in celebration of our successful commercial release (which I wasn't even here for cuz I was in Cali at the time! :b)! We closed down the office at 2 and headed down to Waterfront to catch the Seabus to the CEO's house out in North Van. I got chosen with another co-worker, DK, to join the CEO and the COO in their car for a joyride to their place instead of taking transit. And wow, go figure, it's North Van.. his house was big, new and pretty. We got to meet the rest of his family (wife, three boys and flip maid!)... We started off with chips and beer.. then I moved onto the lemonade. It wasn't until a few hours in we began finally getting the actual BBQ part. Then the water fights began... One of the boys had the insane supersoaker (with the backpack of water!) and he totally owned us (versus our manual hand-pumping action guns). I got to the point where I got ahold of the backpack supersoaker too and attacked a few people. They had a trampoline in the backyard and we had drunk Jeremy jump in it. Kinda scary to watch actually lol... There was also a waterslide which was called BANZAI MOUNTAIN rofl! Me and DK left at the same time (around 7ish) and took the transit back together. Wow, long time no Seabus for sure.

Fri July 6 - Long time no All-You-Can-Eat sushi @ Richmond Sushi for Trevor's bday.

Sat July 7 - Franky's 22nd Birthday at no other than Mike's place! So we have our usual rowdy group of the Liquids, Franky's work friends, Mike's work people (my work people too I guess) and lots of booze. Franky is such an adorable weak drinker XDD... So it's his birthday... the birthday boy has to drink unreservedly, of course. I had my first Flaming Lamborghini... recommended by the bartender (aka. Eric Chin XD) when I requested something 'different'. XD Then our "boss" (aka. Mike) tricked us (co-workers = me, Jeremy, Paulo, Matthias) that our toast shot was Tequila but turned out to be a friggin' 151. Destructively burning it was. Gross and disgusting surprise lol... Bastard Mike :b The soccer tournament between France-Jeremy and Brazil-Paulo was pretty amusing to watch (on Winning 11 lol~). Tried to get Matthias to join in (as Germany of course! XDDD) but he wasn't into games, boo. So after rounds of strange liquids, I had to start sobering up to drive home so I hid myself in the gaming room and tried to nap. I was accompanied by Franky who was completely out of it... *patpats* Poor guy... he wanted to stay sober to help clean up and be responsible but how could he, it's his birthday! :B

Skip two weeks...

July 16 - Registration for courses. Omg it's that time of year already?! School's back in a month...!!!!

July 18 - Flare & Sakura: k it took us weeks to convince these people to come out of their cave in Langley, for serious. Two people who were part of our #Digimon channel way back when... Flare came to visit Sakura so duh, we're nearby, come visit us too! We decided to meet up at Metro at 7. I drove us to White Spot so we can enjoy the awsomeness that is the burger and their BLUEBERRY PIE! We didn't think about bubble tea until hours later and realized it was probably too late to grab bubble tea so we rescheduled for Saturday. みんなすごっく妙なやつだった。考えたよりすげーオタクくさい…

July 20 - Point Roberts. Requested that I got off work early (2AM) to head down to the states early (to beat the Friday afternoon/evening traffic). There was already nasty traffic forming on Knight street which delayed me a lot. I asked Tek to come with me (paranoid to go anywhere far by myself) and had him wait at Aberdeen so I can pick him and some bubble tea(!) up. It was relatively straightforward... got to see a lot of nothing. I was starting to panic when we got to the border. Gah I'm talking to the border guy not someone else like it usually is like! Tek was under suspicion both times there and back :b... We were there to sightsee... which is exactly what happened. The border guy on the US side had a stern face on the whole time... He paused a lot after our question and answers... then when we said it was our first time here, he suddenly got up and walked into the office. He came back a few seconds later, he gave us a map of Point Roberts and let us through. O_O!! Well.. sightseeing is one thing, our first and most important stop (and the whole purpose of the trip!) was to visit TBS Shipping to grab myself my own number for my nummy packages from the states. The place was a house.. which was why it all makes sense and put some light on how things worked. Grabbed the number and yay, mission complete! We took the opportunity to take a tour of the rest of the little town. The beach. The lighthouse which was NOT a "lighthouse" but was a mini reflective tower! We didn't see any WHALES! NO FREE WILLY! We stopped by a cafe for dinner that was by the marina and had, of course, seafood! We also visited the border obelisk (which had exact coordinates on it :0!!), saw some impressive mansions (with tennis courts, basketball courts, etcetc), some poorly painted houses, and then visited their convenience store (we were wondering where people bought their groceries!)... They had a number of products that have been discontinued here in Canada (lots of childhood favourites -- cereals, etc). It was getting late so we headed back around 8-9ish... the weather was crappy and we pretty much took a tour of the whole town already so we made our way back. Now I know Point Roberts from the back of my hand! Ask me anything! XD

July 21 - Flare & Sakura PT2: Aye. Metro again that evening. Walked to Crystal Mall. Was pissing rain like fack! Had bubble tea, oy full. Sakura even had two O_O! Unfortunately everything was closed by the time we got there except for a few. They ended up buying stuff from the stores that were open. Metro was still open at the time so we walked by the Metro and visited the arcade. A few rounds of bad guitar playing and a few expensive mario kart games. Flare had to start packin' so we disbanded early.

I got home... prepared for AU22. We tried it... 5 times? 75WHM 75RDM 73PLD... and once we got sooo close (1 frickin' percent left!); it was super depressing. It was already late by then (um 5AM?) so I decided to give up for now.

July 25 - It's that time of year again for FIREWORKS! I got off at 5, headed to Monica's work at Burrard station by 5:45ish. We ordered ourselves a party tray and more and headed off to 7-11 for some snacks. Headed back, grabbed our order and made our way to English Bay. As usual, all busses were full no matter which street you tried so we walked the whole way there. We arrived as the relief party for the other members who then went to grab their food. We start off with Spain this year... doing Star Wars and Iron Chef. It was actually quite well done~ We'll see how the other two countries do though. That is, if we plan on going next Wednesday and have to go through this whole after work rush thing again. XP I must admit, I was tired. And it was hot too, so it didn't help one bit. :[

July 28 - I woke up late so I told Mo2 to go first to meet up with Shi2 at McDix. I arrive a few minutes later, had some awesomely good greasey breakfast and then we finally headed downtown. We were all kinda tired so we laid around and cooked. I was lazy to put on sunscreen so I tried to protect myself with the umbrellas. Unfortunately it didn't work as I went home red and itchy. But anyways, the time flew by pretty fast. Other people started joining us around 5ish~6. I am known as the beach monster btw. The sun's radiance is a nuisance to my PSP gaming. I will finish Gurumin soon enough.... We had Fat Burger for dinner. It was not fat. They lie. But anyways, Canada's jazz-themed performance was pretty good. The synchronization was excellent but jazz is not my thing so it was good but not as good as Spain's.

Got home. AU22 again. This time we got another RDM. Hella easy with a fourth lol.

Aug 1 - Holy crap it's August already. Only a mere month left before the start of school again.. I look forward to it, to be honest. Full time work is hella boring. So CHINA. I met up with Mo2 by the Burrard skytrain again. We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat so we made our way there and walked down Robson to do some quick window shopping. We were in a lack of time so we decided to hold it off until Saturday. We picked up Triple-O's on the way (yay!) and ate our soggy fries at the beach. So China gave off this insane war-like angry emotions. I heard some people left feeling scared. I felt their performance was less all pretty stuff but more figurative and deep. Well, they called their performance "The Time Machine" so I'd imagine it was something related to their history :D. To us chinese though, it was to signal for us that it's time to take over the world. The chips that were implanted in our head when we were babies are finally resonating. Becareful.

Aug 4 - The Finale. Me and Mo2 went down around 12ish and walked down Robson to do some shopping. We got to the beach around 1ish and had ourselves some hot dogs we wanted since day 1 (the evil aroma that lures us in when we walk by to the beach everytime!). We then meet Shi2 who was standing there on the beach figuring out what to do. My latest delivery of manga came the other day, so I brought some to read. Karat! is magical girl on crack. It's super messed up and super fun to read lol~ Later that night, we had Fat burger again. And again it fails! And around 4ish, other people finally started arriving. The finale. Was boring, as expected. The opening portion was out of sync and dumb. And for some reason Canada won this year. Canada wasn't as good as Spain, but hey, they allowed spectators to vote this year so no wonder everyone voted Canada. Biased I tell you.

Was going to do AU29 but I was too exhausted from the long day. Apparently the PLD didn't even show up on time anyways.

Long weekend! Went to the states on the Monday. Did some good ol' shopping yay! Visited the Daiso at Bellisfair. The place is puny compared to our giant two floor. However! They sell things at $1.50usd and things over $2! Even "designer" bags for like $14usd lol... Another good thing is that there's a lot of stock of everything! Not many people know about yet so I still got first grabs! AND $1.50usd IS cheaper than $2cnd so yay!

Aug 11 - AU29. Tried twice. RDM died during convert. Second time I died when we won.

Aug 18 - Anime Evolution is still major weak sauce. Met Shi2 at the Joyce skytrain SUPPOSEDLY at 11 but she showed up a half n hour late. Got there around 12ish, found a place to sit down and we had our Subway we bought on the way. We visited the dealer's room next. We had to wait in line for NOTHING. We went in, went around the puny room and thought, "That was IT??" So we walked around the room twice. Everyone kept crowding around the KH3 trailer... dudes, I thought you've already have seen it by now! After we went out to leave and lo and behold, there was an extension into the mini cafeteria. The Code Geass fan was very tempting... what's better than Lelouche looking hot on the fan :D? I ended up not getting it and kept wandering around. There were a few stores that sold lots of seriously fake shit. That really upsets me. I picked up a Haruhi artbook and wondered why the pictures were all kinda dark... Failed to find any publication information (e.g. ISBN, publication date, etc) Turn it around and see that was published by a Taiwanese company. Ouch. The place makes me shake my head. After that garbage we decided to visit the new Copperstone area and wow it's beautiful. It's like a community! We had bubble tea that was as sweet as fuck. We lounged around a bit and headed back a bit before 4 to make it to the VGcats guy's panel. It was pretty amusing. Though, as usual, there were the annoying stupid questions like "Pirates or ninjas!?"... and eventually there was another stupid girl that kept playing video game ringtones. Sigh I guess that's everywhere. Or just a lot here at this convention. After the panel we walked back to Copperstone and visited Prem's place. And wow, the place is nice and cozy! He even had one of those mini floor cleaning robots! I couldn't help but stare at it clean the whole time XD... We hung around until we were hungry and then we went out for Pho that Shi2 was dying to have for the past few days. After food, they dropped me off and I headed to meet up with Matt and his friend Daniel (?). I made in just in time to watch some G.I. Joe chant parade. o_O Then we went to the BACK-ON concert. And wow... Japanese artists ceast to amaze me. Their concerts are always crazy fun and really enjoyable. Speaking of concerts, they tried to sell $1 glow 'sticks' that were those bendable cheap thin weak ones rather than the thick, bright ones. Total ripoff :b~ After that insanity, me and Matt went to line up to grab their autograph. They're really cool people :D I had them sign their 'Chain' CD I got. And HEY surprise! I also saw Jenny too! Apparently she was volunteering as a translator, assistant, liaison person. She was busy with them so I couldn't stop to talk at all... :T And that ended AE 07. Look out Scon08!

When I got home I did AU31. Weak sauce. I can't carb pull even if my life depended on it.

I'm working hard on Alchemy lately. I am slowly getting poorer than before... I feel I won't get anywhere with it... oh well.

AU39 or something the following Saturday - we died, oh, only just abooout 5 times before we finally managed to pull it off. We were pressing it to finish it for the update the following Monday.

Monday rolls around.. update comes around... NEW GRIPS. Finished up the Lamia.13 assault later that week and got my hands on some hot Paluhwan Khazghand (sp XD) body.. daymn... I need to hurry up and lvl up RNG so I can show it off more. I considered getting the Yigit head but meh, the heads I have now for my mage jobs are better imho. Next round of assaults goes towards some Yigit pieces!

Oh yeah, I tried Einherharjarbargarharjar just for the hell of it with a pickup party-alliance. Lawl. You can imagine how that's like. But it was an interesting experience nonetheless. The lasted two runs until the co-leader decided to decide another time for us, confusing everyone which was then followed by the breaking of the shell. That was the end of that.

This week flew by rather quickly. School starts next week. I think I've prepared... mentally... materialistically... maybe. I need to clean my room.

Catching up on the gaming news...
Slim PSP has CLEAR BUTTONS! WTF! MINE'S 100X MORE GIMP THAN BEFORE! D:
It also has TV-out, it's lighter, loads faster... however the battery lasts less longer... which is, wait, the ONLY DOWNSIDE D:

I cry. Inside.

Code Geass, Daily Stuff, Two Days 'Till Take-Off...

So after that first Code Geass post on.. mmm the 14th, I finished watching it on the 16th o_o You could say, intense marathoning? And yay it's not finished grr ep 24 and 25 but... AGH, LIVE, LELOUCH! You're too hot to die! But for Euphemia though... I almost cried.. I haven't cried for an anime since the Butterfree days!

Ohh, I watched two movies in a row last Sunday. Surf's Up then Ocean's 13 with Tek. When we came out from Surf's Up we looked up and noticed a sign saying Ocean's 13 4:00 and since it was 3:30, we just walked right into the next theatre instead of walking out. :D We both used vouchers, so two free movies in one day, fun! But that took up most of our day and wasn't able to do other things...

The rest of the week flew by rather quickly... must be because I have AX in my head. Well more like because our first commercial release is soon approaching and there's still lots of things to be done. I'm no QA but I've been bug catching like mad... to the point that the useless dev leader started complaining to me. Hey man, it's gotta be worth being commercialized right, deadline or no deadline... people'll be taking money out of their pockets to buy this so it better be good. It's was mainly because of his complaint and his incompetence of getting things done as a dev leader lead me bashing devs all week (sorry tek, I know you're a dev too). Not saying we don't have good devs, we have a few competent devs too! It's just unfortunate we don't have more of those guys to balance off the crappy ones.

So, in FFXI news... SE finally released server migration. I was informed that Fortune was going to move servers (Bismarck to be exact)... Shocked, depressed, saddened from the sudden news there isn't really much that can be done. They moved Saturday morning... I was greeted by a broken pearl when I woke up. Wow... 2 years.. gone, poof. Most of the players in the LS were from way back when too... 4..5 years. Man wtf why's this game so old? Well, there's some that didn't go... though I heard they'll eventually go as well. There'll never be a replacement as good. I think I'll put the end-game stuff aside for now and work on some Aht Urhgan stuff... Tried Lamia.13 the other day, it's so fun XD... I need an assault ls. einjarhar ls too. salvage too.

So the depressing stuff aside...
To imagine... I'm leaving in two days? Shrug... haven't started packing... haven't done much planning yet (some vague things here and there)... my money's ready though! The next two days at work will be tough though. Gotta make enough work for the devs to do for the whole week I'm gone orz... wootz ore, excitement.

Yay it's over! ...for now

It's been a hectic week O___O Well, all of April's been pretty crazy so far... Decided to celebrate my birthday with the rest of the extended family this year and paid for the dinner... it was a nice feeling :D

On the actual birth day, on me and my classmate(V!)'s way to Richmond Centre for food and other stuff... I decided to bring back little fruit tarts for the whole class... I realized after I handed all of them out that I created a lot of attention o_O... not intentional, I swear... I honestly wished my birthday was on a non-school day =_=... But anyways, later that night my mom decided to go out and celebrate by having an expensive Chinese dinner (with the delicacies and all that good expensive stuff)... I was content. :]Then my bro who decided to extend his stay another week in asia, provided me the opportunity to do some intense ffxi skilling up... It was very convenient to have both computers at my disposal fufufu~ He returned on a Friday (disappointment? hahah...), and it just so happened to be Good Friday. We went to a ceremony at church in the morning... I couldn't stay for the whole thing and left early to pick him up from the airport. He brought me back a set of headphones as I requested and it's <3 He also bought Itadaki Street Portable (or Po) (for PSP - note the "Portable" part XD) and oooh the evil that's in it >< ... He isn't able to read and understand the Japanese so I playing it in his stead (aka. taken it over for myself)... It's the worse time to get addicted to ANY game during the end of the semester... Well anyways, it's like Monopoly but with Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters and gawd, who would've thunk a game like that would keep me playing... for so LONG (cough as in I'm still PLAYING IT NOW o_o!)

Later that day, it was dinner with Shi2 and Mo2 at Shabusen. Wow long time no Shabusen is right.... but it hasn't changed one bit -- the food was the same, the PRICE (!) was the same, and MAYBE the waiters aren't as cute as they once were... But still, fun times. Did lots of catching up... Afterwards, we went by the liquor store and picked up some fun stuff then headed to Mo2's place (which is also my place :b)... As soon as I mentioned drinking, my parents told me to drink downstairs (Mo2's place) instead lol~ I brought some cheesecake downstairs and we enjoyed it with the drinks... THEN Shi2 presented me with DIGIMON WORLD DS O___O which I've heard lots of good things about X3 so yay! But I don't think I'll be touching that anytime soon *coughitadakistreetcough*... then I also got a preorder for the Nth Harry Potter book from Mo2! I haven't finished reading the one before the one that's about to come out so lol... Um, it's on my to do list... I swear.

Saturday rolls around... "mandatory" Dynamis @ Xarc... nothing special... didn't win o_O Did some more research for my essay that was to be handed later that week... Met up with Tek at Metro later that night... had White Spot (YAR!) and we had the opportunity to talk alot since our waitress was extremely busy the whole time... THEN I GOT WILD ARMS PINKY:ST FROM HIM that I planned on getting eventually (maybe AX...) so eeeeeeeee O__O! That reminds me, I should OPEN IT!

Sunday: Worked for a good portion of the day and met up with the family at my aunt's place for the easter weekend dinner thingymabober. The kids were having crazy fun with the Wii that my aunt's kids had... then there was the awsome turkey dinner portion! It never fails to disappoint!

Monday: Yay day off! Doing? I don't even remember... probably more essay researching...

Tuesday: Class in the morning. Finished up our magazine project for good and let us off early... Got home to pick up my mom to Richmond for a number of errands. Bumped into Shi2 XD Wasn't able to get this month's Newtype... reminder: will get it tomorrow. Went to the Fisherman's Terrance @ 330 for a meeting for their upcoming Europe trip, and I went in my dad's stead. Unfortunately we sat in the front so I was unable to rip out my PSP and play to drain out the boring talk... The upside was there was free food though so YAY!

Wednesday: "I should work on my essay." "..." "...nah."

Thursday: Woke up early to get to school early to print out my project's stuff. Got distracted by my brother who decided to wake up early too... ~_~ I still got to school early enough to get it done... Got our marks right on the spot yay! Then we got to leave a early too, double yay! I took the chance to make my way to Best Buy Queensborough before the traffic rush... shit forgot to turn and ended up in Delta somewhere by Annacis Island lol... Tried to call for help but no one was by a computer to google map for me! Aghghghghahg... so I went and asked for help... the guy's instructions were confusing so I went by instinct and SOMEHOW MADE IT THERE IN ONE PEACE@! JOY! *proud of herself*

Decided to go out (!) for dinner that night with family... didn't exactly start my essay until 10pm so yes I didn't end up sleeping that night. Man... couldn't feel the stress nor pressure to do it... (already in summer mode XP)

Felt like SHIT the next morning. The teacher totally forgot we had to present visuals with our essay... and the shit part is, two other people did the same topic as me so they got to talk more than I did... the teacher just ended up asking me a bad question... I wanted to talk about what approach I took MY essay... but then again I suck at public speaking so I wouldn't of been able to talk about it well anyways.... and she knows I suck aaggghhgh... I just hope I didn't fail that part of the essay >_< The class didn't get to end early either! More aghrahgrhghrefij... kept falling asleep throughout other people's presentations... I felt bad but at the same time bah I didn't care anymore

So Friday's class FINALLY decides to finish... I went home and OHO! I was rewarded handsomely for a JOB WELL DONE FROM GOD!! In the mail came my long awaited AMEX credit card (very shiny and pretty btw) and my lovely stack of manga! I was mainly excited for the final fruits basket book! Who cares about sleep, I quickly opened up the box and read that first....... and.....

Aww I cried at the end (actually just tearly eyed >_>).... what a way to end a 6..7..8 (?) year story... thinking back though... the characters have really matured a lot... I'm not so sure about the fast-forward into the future little end bit though... Appropriate? Not?.. yes.. no... I guess I'm not sure XP But nonetheless... wow it REALLY ENDED.. *needs some time to absorb*

The 2nd Furuba Fanbook is quite something too... best chapter countdown, character couplings and groupings, fun little comic in the middle, interviews, and coloured illustrations!

Ok afterwards I ate and crashed. Wanted to do NOTHING BUT SLACK... and thus I did nothing but slack... didn't even go to one of our classmates' class gathering...

Saturday: Dynamis-Xarc again... what a horrible run! Full moon and not a single AF drop... not even any drops from Mr.DL 'cept a coin.. a COIN... he Deaths 90% of us when he was about to die! lol but a good quick less-than-5-minute kill though :3 Really good preparations this time too! After Dynamis I got the whole family out for my actual (immediate) family dinner at Tropika, my treat. Long time no Tropika too so it was extra good... was tempted to use my AMEX to pay...

When I got home, I got some friends to do help me with AF hands... had them open up the doors and then I camped there with my bro and a minute right after they left, it popped :D

One particular manga of note that came with my current shipment: .hack//4koma ... the book's on crack! Some panels include the characters from .hack//Alcor, which I also got but have yet to read... I'll probably get to it after I finish reading G.U.+ 3 ...Atori drives me crazy tho *is pro Haseo X Shino*

Last day of school tomorrow.. gasp, unreal.

I swear I should rack up lots of money and get myself Sha'ir body already (or level up the damn craft)... better yet, do more assault and get that Yigit.. frick! Anyways, I -need- Fortune, I swear.

Speaking of crafting... I think I'm gunna aim for main Cloth, Sub Wood and Alchemy. Just looking at the elemental staff prices as of late and I wanna cry. Everything's dropping in price... it hurts to look. >_< Like my Jester+1 was 300k, now it's 60k?! Divine Log was AT LEAST 1mil now it's 500k - that's half! Ouch D:! Sucks to be the seller... Buyers are having a blast though ;_; So right before Dynamis started today, Tiamat decides to pop. Killkill 2 hours.... After the delay, two MNK crowns, THF and my uber pants drop~ My patience paid off :33 Next: Jeuno. Nothing left to get there... hoping for a free lot perhaps.. X3 As for the past week... my bro's out of town [somewhere in China], "spying" for the sake of the family. ufufufu, I say no more >_>

And look... It's almost April.. うそいやだ><

countdown: 3 months....

Oh what the - end of February

I didn't realize it was the end of February until I went to actually look at the calendar a second ago. Wow, where'd January and February go?

So my bro has finally completed his apprenticeship (sp?) and he demanded that he return to FFXI. So now I have to share the account with him... boo. Well he plans on returning to Fortune too, meaning, they'll be less free time and more camping time... sigh then I'll have to get out of my way and go help with Fortune stuff when it's my turn to play. He's been busy levelling THF while I'm trying to level RNG... party is scarce for the both of us. I'm still one point away from tier 2 assault, fuck, I want that one assault point already! I can't wait to get started on my RNG AF though~

If I may, I'd like to rant a bit about school. There once was a partner. A partner who didn't get along with me for some unknown reason. I couldn't care less what her grudge was against me, but we're partnered up for a reason -- to work on our project together. I'd think we'd be able to cast aside whatever differences we have just to get this project over with but apparently that's not as easily done as hoped. Perhaps the lack of maturity would explain it... We agree on a time to meet and so we do. She ends up spending the better half doing an assignment for another class.. which is fine, as long as she gets something done afterwards... or so you'd think. She finishes her assignment and so we finally get to discuss what we should do for this project. Pretty much nothing gets solved or organized and we end up pretty much just saying we'd meet up again next week (Huh? We're just going to let this perfectly good week slide?). Oh okay, sure, we'll meet up next week (cough it's DUE next week).. so let's start working on it now since we agreed on working on it at that time. A few minutes later she gets up and prepares to leave. Someone elses questions her and asks why she'd leaving her partner here to work and she says it's already been dealt with (Sorry? Did I miss something within those few minutes? D:)... Well okay fine, I let that go, even though we both made a commitment to work after class on our project together. So she leaves anyways. Come again? What happened to "I don't want to do this last minute"? What's worse (and rather confusing) is that I was told she laughed on her way out of the school. Sorry I think I missed something again... so what's so funny? I feel sorry for you, Miss.Immature... you need to grow up. You'll get to work with all sorts of people you dislike out there in the business world when you graduate... if leaving your partner to work alone somehow amuses you, you need to find a better hobby. If it was supposed to upset me, I'm sorry, you're a failure at life. Stupid girl.

Wow now that I play less FFXI I feel that I should play more FFX... or maybe do some more anime catching up. Oh wait, my router software's apparently screwed up. So my ports are fucked over and I'm firewalled for life. I'm tempted to go back to our original Linksys but damn it overheats too easily. Time to make myself a homemade cooling system for le router? Unfortunately I don't know jack about how a router works but I guess there's nothing to lose XP... Reminds me of the days I cracked open laptops.... Mmmm funnn~

Chinese New Year week came and went. My uncle came back to visit... the useless one -- always says he had a giant project going, going to make lots of money, getting agreements signed, getting lots of clients.... that was the case 3+ years ago... and he's still at it now. The whole dinner conversation felt like we were listening to him ramble about his dream world where he'd make lots of money and get rich. Dream world indeed... The whole family was rolling their eyes. He seriously needs to grow up too and look at things more realistically. He's been doing nothing in China 'cept wasting all our grandpa's money on nothing. Apparently he also upset a bunch of business people over on the other side as well... he agreed to do something, spent the money and haven't paid them back yet... And it involves a lawyer too... If I were the lawyer, I'd already would have sued his ass? But he got it lucky because the lawyer was an acquaintence of someone we knew. Sigh. Now he taught his elementary school daughter the same mind set and now she's as retared as he is. Bluntly said, he's a disgrace to the family. Him aside though, Alaskan King Crab tomorrow night! One of the first and many of those to come this awsome crab season!

Had dinner with a bunch of ex-GL co-workers and lol felt like we did nothing but rant about how bad the work conditions were... and sadly it was not the typical work rant that you'd get at any other job but these rants were about SERIOUS issues. And then I was reminded about my VACATION PAY THAT THEY STILL OWE ME FROM HALF A YEAR AGO. Frick, so I went and called them up and then realized I DIDN'T EVEN GET MY ROE. They never bothered to give it to me...hellooo it's been half a year, I can lay the smack on you by workers compensation and canada revenue and the related!!

Now, let us attempt to work on our homework shall we?

Hello February!

So wow here I am again MID-FEBRUARY! Look at the time fly :/

Let us examine the many aspects of life:

School- Projects come and go... the semester feels a bit more slack than the previous (which of course is an awfully good thing yes?) The [maybe sudden] realization of society and culture sadly taking form in and between the classmates at school. Do I even know what I'm trying to say? No? It's okay. It'll be a conversation between Me, Myself and I. What I'm trying to say is... Having to act a certain way and say certain things just to be accepted is really silly. omg, it feels like frickin' high school - the attitudes especially.. people, grow up! What the hell have you been learning in Rick's tedious lectures? I know they're long-winded but they frickin' make so much bloody sense it's actually rather frightening. Yes, we learn about how culture diseases society and how we can use it to manipulate others (hurhur, go go graphic designers!)... So yeah, I decided to be 'different' and now I'm exiled. Fun. There goes my social life at school. Not that I needed it though.

Sooo.. there was this Breast Cancer contest slash fundrasier thing that went on and one of our projects revolved around this contest that we ended up submitting to. I liked how mine turned out and I would THINK the teacher liked it too... after the contest he kept trying to convince me to turn it into a children's story book XD?! But yeah I didn't win though BUT SOMEONE BIDDED ON MINE!! Our class was invited to the reception-like event that was held at Steamworks in gastown... open bar but was limited to beer and wine. I didn't feel like drinking but I had a LOT of appetizers that circulated around constantly. Everyone brought a guest so I decided to bring Mike with me since he worked nearby and I'm sure he'd be one of the few that might appreciate something like this. Unfortunately I don't think I was that great of a host to him though (when am I ever a good host, seriously?)... We had two classmates that ended up insanely drunk... fun times, fun times. After the event, I finally went and visited Mike's NEW OFFICE! Awsome view, great atmosphere - very convenient to lots of things nearby. Yet again he offered me a position in their company but damn, full time no good!

Work- Work's been DEAD! No one shops at Oakridge The Bay much nowadays! I was able to grab a few extra hours during the Valentines rush (minus a day because of Dynamis on Tuesdays - tho I heard the day before Valentines was busy :/).. so I think I've narrowed down my favourite guy fragrances to Issey Miyake L'eau Blue and Gorgio Armani GIO. To answer ToFu's question from a long time ago: I don't mind guys wearing fragrances.. as long as it's not oversprayed (as you reek of nothing but the fragrance), not stinky stuff like CHANEL, DRAKKAR Noir or Burberry, not insanely sweet like ESCADA or JOOP!.. it should be subtle and pleasant. Just maybe a little there to make you want MORE (rar~) - tips for guys? :D

Gaming- Now that I've thought about it... I think I'm going to level RNG to 75 instead of COR. Ranger is actually quite fun (doing insanely high damage!) and getting equip for COR is hard as hell. It's exciting to get hate from the enemy easily :b Not so exciting when they can't get it off me and I die in the process XD;; I'm one point away from Private First Class assault ranking grahgrahgrah... stupid assault ls cancelling for no bloody reason.

I've also finished Children of Mana! Boy was the last, last stage long as hell or what >_<;

紅白 - KOUHAKU 2006!
I almost forgot to blog about this AGAIN.. um so [spoiler]the guys won again this year[/spoiler]. The theme this year was love and family. I don't remember the order so I'll just talk whatever I remember... um, random people I didn't know and felt that they sucked: Aqua Timez and DJ OZMA... random people I didn't know and felt was good: Sukima Switch 《スキマスイッチ》, ... surprised to see Angela Aki and Suga Shikao there! Very awsome! Returning awsomes: Nakashima Mika, aiko, Otsuka Ai, Porno Graffiti (このBIGMACHINEを乗っていけよ!!!!(ノ ゜Д゜)ノ)... ORANGE RANGE returned which was nice.. BONNIE PINK showed up (!) but was meh, Hamasaki Ayumi of course was there but she's meh to me now too... oh yeah SMAP can't sing still.

Blogger-
New blogger's pretty annoying now... forcing me to login with my google account grr. I need to find some time to recode my blog to fit the standards of today :b... someday I will, someday.

Harddrive-
HEY! I finally cleared out my harddrive! Now E: is dedicated to anime! Backlog time backlog time! I've finished 4-5 unfinished series so far?... 2924983473 more to go!

Website-
Backlogged until further notice!

Manga-
Furuba 22 WASN'T THE LAST BOOK OMG! Torture to wait another month for 23, the REAL final book. It's really wrapping up... I can't believe it. FRUITS BASKET IS ACTUALLY ENDING!

I read that Kami-chama Karin is going to be animated... it'll be FUN! Also, Sou-niisama is playing a character in "Bokura no", a manga (to be anime) by the creator of Narutaru so I decided to read up on it (another Sou-niisama fan shared it on the LJ community) and wow...intense... I KNEW that it was going to be another depressing, action-filled story involving kids.. that's just the Narutaru way!

Air Gear 15: RINGO! WHY DID YOU@!$*#$U#*($&*#(JIOEJFK She's my favourite character too D:

Mid-January 07 Life Update

Surprise surprise... I end up getting work hours after the busy Christmas season. Only once a week but still! Good stuff! I alternate from Oakridge and Richmond every other week and surprisingly I was able to sell something on both days. Hard as hell but I managed! Also it just so happens that the sidewalk sale was happening at both malls too! Good and bad: good that there's a sale; bad that I END UP SPENDING! So uh yeah I ended up buying stuff... eheh.

My brother also just finished suffering through a really horrible cold/flu. It was so bad, he had to skip work for 3 days and stay at home the whole time. Poor guy...

Gaming:
HEY I FINALLY got past the first few hours of FFX after umm.. was it two tries in total since it first came out? LOL. So far, I'm loving Tidus and disliking Yuna. Wakka's voice is so amusing to hear X3

Been playing Fantasy Earth Zero lots lately. It's like the FFXI PvP you always wished for! The auto mana refresh is love <3

FFXI - Attempted to start COR and realize - hoshitz - I need RNG sub.. so I'm TRYING to level RNG but it's kinda tedious lol.. man I was soo psyched when I got to use my first roll at lvl5! Sigh. In other news tho, I temp joined up with this assault ls that has a really shitty leader. At least the other members are more knowledgable than him.

Manga and the related:
DID I MENTION MY WILD ARMS 10TH ANNIVERSARY FANBOOK BOOK CAME IN TEH MAIL? OMGG! The book is full of awsomeness! It makes me wanna play Alter Code: F to see all the new chars they added and the changes they made.

I wish the last Furuba book would hurrys up its ass and makes its way here already XP

Music:
The latest SOUND HORIZON CD "Roman" is EXCELLENT!
I get to hear Sou-niisama laugh in track 3 and say a line in track 4! Hahaha!

Ahh sillyness is awsome. Now I flee to bed.

Status of Clearing up old HDDs: 85%
I'm almost there...! As soon as that's done, I need to welcome back AnimePsychoGirl and Sayoko the sofaking of kidd.nu and blackwings.net...

So much to do! So little time!

Crunch Time!

Oooh it's the last week (+1 day) of school! Excited? I'm not sure. There's quite a bit to do though... project for Wednesday, essay for Friday, another project for Monday and THEN it's over. I got scheduled to work lots on the weekend too... it's gunna interfere with my Monday project. Not to mention, the rest of my Christmas break! Oh how I wish I didn't need to work... there's so much backlog (that I keep mentioning >_>) to do! *head to desk*

Oh yeah, it's December!

The crazy snow fall last week closed the school down for that Monday. Then classes resumed the day after (boo)... the roads were all slippery and icy. Freaking annoying to drive in... especially when trying to park back into the garage... I always got stuck. >_<

Last Friday we had Simon's early birthday slash goodbye hotpot dinner. Um, I stunk like perfume that night (yay for work!). There were plenty of people doing their last-minute essay editing. A few rounds of MJ... Cooking Mama! And the strangeness of Trama Center.

Oh, I also caught a nasty flu on the weekend too. I had hell trying to do my final exam Friday morning as I was dripping everywhere! XP Then I fell dead Saturday night and only started to get better today...

But...
We arrive at school to find that the power's out. We did today's lecture and class in the lightless, heatless room. Everyone had to wear jackets. Later on in the class, we began to panic when it started to get darker in the classroom (as the sun was going down). Tomorrow's a computer class. I wonder if they'll get it up by then? They should.

I also hit 74 for BRD the other day. Then I attempted to try out BLU but had too much trouble trying to LEARN FRI#*$KING SPELLS so I'll be dropping that one and trying COR.. probably. I've had constant invites for mana burn parties (from the same guy lol) which brought me up to 74 pretty quickly. It was actually my first time in a BLM mana burn party that time so it was pretty fun.

Chocobo Mazurka is love <3.

.. and RIP to my first chocobo.

Come on 1.Red/2.Black/3.Blue chocobo...!!!

S-N-O-W!!

It's the end of November... and it's SNOWING!
This insane weather starts off on Friday after school when I got to get off early by like 2 hours! just to be greated with a sudden shower of hail. Then it follows with a peaceful yet extremely chilly nightfall. A fellow classmate held a class gathering at her place that night for some drinking and just some good ol' mingling. I arrive rather 'late' (she said to start at 8), arriving at 9 and yet I end up being one of the firsts to show up (second, to be precise). Then I get constantly attacked by her roommates' dog until more people began showing up... that was when he diverted his attention to the other people. People came and went... more people stayed then leave of course. Another classmate brought some awsome homemade pudding that was a mix of macadamean (sp~!) taste and some sort of strong alcohol. Nonetheless it was very good. I fled early [~12am] (because I could).

Saturday -- it was FREEZING. I woke up early for an interview as a perfume demo (who would've thunk it!) and well I got it o_O. Work starts Thursday. Most, if not all, of my shifts are from Thursday to Sunday. Byebye to my weekends~

The pressure is on...!

I return home and join my bro in Dynamis for once. It was weird cuz he'd be in the other room screaming at me about what to do >_>... "CURE *****!" "RAISE *****!" etcetc... Mmmm kinda annoying actually. And yeah, there were no af drops throughout the whole run. Probably the second time it has ever happened... And during all of this.. the snow began to build up.......

After Dynamis ends disappointingly, I was then welcomed with a big blanket of snow outside. Not to mention COLD TOO. I made my way to Mike's housewarming party. I find the place without trouble... and with no furniture. I walk in to see a big circle of people playing poker. Eh. The others were just playing silly drinking side games in which I joined in... A bit later, more people show up and we just talk.. then we had CHEESE with crackers and high-class Italian liquor. Had some balloon fights, pudding, chip mixing (inside joke >_>), Mac ranting (only me vs. 2 pro-Macs >_>)... and then we went for bubble tea. LOL? Yeah talk about a drinking party right. We charged into Bubble World 5 mins before they closed, ordered and fled. Long time no bubble tea~ and it was good :33

I woke up half dead... and sleeping in too much. And so the snow continues to fall... I didn't leave the house today. Had fried chicken for dinner. Died 3 times in party today. The JP PT was overambitious and led me to confusing Mamook territory and then confronting a Popoggo! TRUE SOUND WTF! EVIL LITTLE FROGS WITH PARTY HATS! *motions angrily* FIST.

It doesn't look ilke the snow's gunna stop anytime soon... My guess is that there's no school tomorrow but it hasn't been frickin' announced yet. C'mon Kwantlen! What are you waiting for! Every other school has! There's no way I'll be driving to school in THAT weather tomorrow!!

Uptime: 41 Hours

Had an all nighter yesterday (or wait, that's the night before) for a team project we had to do. It weird thing was that we started well before the due date and yet we still ended up having to do it last minute. Well the bad thing was that my other two teammates are easily distracted! >_<; Every other minute, they'd go off and talk about something else and then FE@I$O%WJ^FI please, if we stayed on topic and focused, I bet we didn't have to pull the all nighter at all. But oh well, it couldn't be helped. We started at 10AM Thursday, worked until 10PM at school, then moved our quarters to one of the teammates' place from 10PM to 530AM. Then we disbanded to shower and change etc and met up at school at 730AM to print our 17 page handout 20 times. Not cheap I tell you.. not to mention, the photocopying machine copied really nastily. *shakes head* There goes 60 bucks. So we end up going in late into class as soon as we were done. We then did our 45 minute presentation (pretty well, mind you -- 'cept a few misinformed facts by a teammmate).... After class, we finally handed in out extremely overdue books (3 weeks after the initial due date) we referenced. Finally got to go home.... decided not to sleep until night time. And I ended up standing up till 3AM this morning... I forced myself to sleep 10+ hours just because... and I did. XD

Levelled bard to 71 and got to wear my sexy slippers XP ... my parties sucked a lot yesterday though. It wasn't until the very end there was a good party but then I was feeling extremely dead tired for sleep. I also got enough points to get the Walahra turban! Now I got a sexy purple turban XP

This recent water epidemic is funny... On Thursday I drank a whole bottle of water from the tap [filtered] so the warning was a bit late for me.

Oh I haven't started my homework yet... crud. Oh how I love painting arrrrggaa!

NOVEMBER!

I swear.. didn't I just say "IT'S OCTOBER!", like, a few posts ago?

So yeah...
IT'S NOVEMBER!

Update:
Almost time to register for next semester's courses ALREADY, man like wtf. That reminds me, my brother's playing "WTF" right now... As for me, I started playing Children of Mana today~ Very fun stuff~ Can't wait to play multiplayer with my bro! I'm still playing FFXI... our Dynamis linkshell, DyNaMITE, disbanded the other day.. very shocking.. very sudden... will have to move to another LS... I've been missing 'em Biesieged's! Now EVERYONE's always gathering up for it.. making Al Zahbi too full [700 ppl] for anymore people (meaning, the early birds get the worm)... I've also been playing PSU -- Phantasy Star Universe. Feels kinda the same as the old PSO lol. Character creation could've used more work with the customization...

I look forward to December and the things I need to do lol. I'll have to keep reminding myself of this horrible... horrible... HORRIBLE backlog. I've been reminded of the fact that my domain and everything on it is so outdated... I've been reminded of the fact that I'm missing out on some awsome anime (e.g. Code Geass..!) I've been reminded of the fact that I have a giant pile of games that are waiting for me to play them... I've been reminded of the fact that my room [the house] is a mess and needs to be cleaned... I've also just been reminded that it's quarter past one and I have a class at 8 tomorrow morning.
