Tires

Sakuya, you've been a pain in the butt this year.

Earlier this week, I got attacked by another nail - this time in my left rear tire (last time it was my right rear tire). Unluckily for me, this one was unrepairable since she got nailed in an unfixable spot. Though it's not as simple as to replace just one tire either. Apparently the tread on my other tires are wearing out anyways (I've been on the same OEM tires since I first got the car) so yeah, it was time.

After some phone mixed with internet research earlier today, I have my tire choices narrowed. I'll go get this over and done with tomorrow morning. Tire shopping is so stressful. Why are tires so expensive??! I think my parents will have to help me with this so I feel as though I should get a job to help pay it off a bit... and here I was hoping for a school-only year.

While on the topic of driving(ish): apparently the government is considering putting a toll on the Knight Street bridge to counter the money lost from granting transit passes to university students. Tell me the relation - oh wait there is none! They're just finding any excuse they can to take more money from us and this excuse sucks just as much as the additional levy the transit people are going to put on vehicle owners/drivers because they're not transit users (WUT!). If they need a bridge to toll, go build a new one and do it!

Aggh: Public Transit

Worst morning ever. My stop one of the firsts on this bus route and so it's usually always empty. This morning it was already packed at my stop and I had to stand (with two effing messenger bags - laptop & personal). Then it got really packed and the bus driver kept packing us in. He also said he wouldn't move if we didn't pack ourselves even more to fit everyone.

Where the fuck did these "new bus improvements" go?

If you guys had more damn buses at the right crucial times, there would never be these problems.

More Eventful Than Expected

So you'd think it'd suck to work on Halloween night when you could be out playing with explosives, getting drunk, or raiding houses for candy. Nope, not here! Not when you have a bunch of terrorists attacking our extremely vulnerable tennis bubble! Someone kindly cut open a fairly giant sized (~20inches in diameter to be exact) hole in our indoor tennis wall. Mmm excitement. In the back of my mind, I wish the ceiling came down... that would of been so much more entertaining. Slowly I realized (a lot later) that um, it's kinda dangerous here at work eh. Then I find the newbie security guy trying to unscrew something on the bike we have on display. The hell. Later that night, we get a code 9 (aka. hotel-wide emergency) an hour or two later. Too bad it was a false alarm. :b

Oh, I have to tell you about my most weirdest/eventful day of my life (thus far, that is). This one night, I went to bed early because I had to open the following morning for work. I had trouble sleeping and woke up abruptly at 1AM then fell back asleep. The next time I work up, I got up for work. I got ready and left. Before I left, I noticed my parents' room lights were still on. I was thinking... wow they're either really still awake so late or they forgot to turn off the lights. It was the morning after the end of daylight savings btw. While I was on my way, I looked at my car clock. It said 3:30AM. I was thinking 'Ah, the clock is incorrect.. we'll have to fix it for daylight savings is over.' It didn't dawn on me until I got off the Knight Street bridge and realized that the end of daylight savings means that the clocks are an hour ahead, not behind... and yes definitely not behind 4 hours. So, yes, I woke up 4 hours too early for work. I still didn't believe my car clock at first because I remembered hearing my phone alarm go off. So I checked my phone and the alarm icon was still there... meaning it didn't go off. So apparently, the alarm that went off was only in my dream. Since I was ahem, 4 hours too early for work, I drove back home laughing at myself. I got home and my mom came out and thought I went crazy because I was mumbling at myself for all the clues I saw this morning and yet it didn't hit me.

And it doesn't end there...

I got home... I didn't want to crawl back to bed so I kept myself busy with the computer (of course). Before it was time for work, I had to stop at an episode of Gravion Zwei when a male character (who was male for a season and a half!) is suddenly revealed as a big busty woman when he takes off his mask for the first time. Yes the answer was revealed later in the anime but I didn't watch it then, and I had to leave to work, knowing just that much. Freaked and disturbed I was, I headed off to work.

Finally on the right time this time, I arrived! I vacuumed the pool for a change. Well... I kinda had to too. I didn't mind much and strangely, I actually felt like doing it. I was wide awake then and felt really energized. Yay I was proud of myself. Soon after that energy disappeared though... well I only DID have about 4 hours of sleep. If that was even considered sleep.

Then I fell asleep 3 times throughout my shift. I don't usually fall asleep on the job btw. No one caught me though, because I'd wake up to the noise of their approach.

Then there was the 'retarded' maintenance guy who came, who filled the pool that didn't need filling so it went up a tile too much. He returns to drain that one tile he filled. Wth.

Then Mo^2 shows up really late (coughanhour) and I was hoping to go home early. I don't blame you Mo^2, don't worry about it. Just needed to mention it in my eventful day since it was out of the norm. :b

While driving home from work, I got pulled over by the police! XD Why? He said I can't turn left on Knight and 57th. Wtf! I live in that area and I always need to turn in from Knight street all the time so I know the regulation for when its no-turning on that street (7am-7pm Mondays to Saturdays). And it was a SUNDAY. Well at that time, I figured they changed the turning rules so I had to give in and duh I can't argue with the police. (Btw, I checked the day after, and NOTHING HAS CHANGED so WTF! WHAT WAS HE THINKING?? D:!) But it was an interesting (and frightening) experience.

Later that night when I had dinner with my grandma and family.... I couldn't hold my teacup. It just slipped out of my hand when I picked it up, making a lovely mess. Then it kept trying to slip out of my hand throughout the rest of dinner. It's not like it was wet nor was my hand so... I don't know. Silky skin? :b

Ok I think that's plenty eventful.

Now I'm waiting for some more goodies to come in the mail.

Deal = NO GOOD!

The container hauler guys didn't like the deal that was put forth... MORE STRIKING ENSUES!

Soo... I had a fun week at work at the other branch. I like this side a lot more because it's cleaner, more spacious, washroom is more easier to access, brighter, and the list goes on... BUT I don't have my own computer, this branch location's too far [getting to and from work sucks], the annoying guys from the other divisions keep comin' in to bother us... mmm... I've been told to work there Tuesday so far [and probably the rest of this week as well...] or at least until the strike's over.

The strike should end because I need my monthly/weekly dose of manga and magazines.

The strike should not end because work will be busy like mad again... madder, even.

Oh I'm so horrible... all the businesses are suffering because of this silly strike.

So our accountant (from my original branch) apparently QUIT. Aww man, gives me less of a reason to stick around... she's like the only other around my age. Old geezers bakka... She quit while I got transferred (temp) to this location. Boo... And upon arriving, I also found out that Cathy, an elementary school friend that worked at this branch, ALSO quit only a WEEK AGO TOO (right before I transferred in). Gah!

Anyways! Fireworks!

Wednesday and Canada. Not bad... I wasn't paying full attention though.. I was too lost and lonely to care XD! Then I mad flashed everyone with my led light afterwards.

Saturday and Sweden. The clouds were so interesting that day. Sty and I made collab artworks. We rock. :o The show started good and then ended meh. Weird mixxxage.

Oh... Friday: Had dinner with some elementary school friends, Phyllis Andy Cindy Amy... We went our separate ways right after. It was quick. o_o; Night marketed afterwards though... Iwase's not there anymore (aww I wanted to check it out). A number of useless junk tempted me. RESISTED RRRRrrgrg--!

I'm still quite poor right now... I gotta renew my domain soon too.

Canada Day celebration woohoooO~ The fireworks downtown were apparently cancelled, so we looked elsewhere for some festivities. I woke up at 4pm (missed breakfast and forgot to call Fish... made him mad :E but he woke up the same time I did anyways, pfft)... Der asked me to go to some whitewash clothing store sale all the way in Kerrisdale. Pfft that. ...had McDix and then a few hours later, went to have KOREAN! with family. Good stuff, good stuff. Afterwards, with Fish, Amy, Jo, Jon Mak n Tony made our way to Garry Point in Richmond. Simon and Daniel went in another car as Tim Sham & gang were in their own minivan. We had a strange conversation in the car about buying bras and g-strings for Tony C. and Ray's birthday. Hmm, I think we'll be doing the shopping this weekend.. :E~ We were already running late when we got there, taking us a good half hour to find parking. Took us as long to walk to the beach to find that it already started. We ripped out our garbage bags and found a place; first behind a fat lady that was standing up, then we moved to a pot area. Whatever, lasted only 20 mins and it was pretty damn crappy. We ran like mad back to the car to find it TP-ed by Sham's crew. Took us more than a half an hour to get out of the area back to Vancouver. We were high all the way back, flashing each other with filmless cameras, screaming out the window at random people, and even more random conversation. I suggested bubble tea SO WE DID! We went all the way back to Bubble World, Granville. Played some erotic photo hunt XD... and made it back an hour after midnight. :D

Now that school's out of the way (for now), I'm getting into the updating hype... New guestbook layout, .hackers update (finally after 2 months :E) and in the middle of a blueprints layout frustration... more to come? Maybe... O_o

WE WON 2010 NO!!!! SCREW OLYMPICS >_>... more sufferage with family tax and shit. :p Even though it doesn't affect me directly.. BUT INDIRECTLY NO!!! NOO! NO!NONONONO!! That'll be all. =_=
