Ah, I didn't blog longer than I thought... I wanted to but I didn't get around to do it.. :/

Ohh Friday came around (last week) and midterms came and I fuked it. Moving on. Joined a bunch of peeps at the bbtea place across from Oakridge (I don't know what to refer it as)... had some "fun" I suppose. Afterwards, some of the gang left and what's left of us (grady,3-10-mil and myself) decided to go visit the Chinese New Year markety thingy at Landsdown. $2 entrance fee! Crazyness... It sucked in there. Grady said it smelled like toilets in there... Well my cousin was there helping out at a stand. Don't know his english name... We passed by a few times, eyeing the gigantic Qoo head. Then we finally got around to buy it. I bargined the price but lost the ching-chong-push for another $2. Then since it was the traditional chinese dinner day thingy, we all went home. Went to grandma's... my precious grad sweater I love was completely soaked in oil smell. I was really pissed off.. -_-;

Sunday comes around... I agreed on helping Sacha in moving her house belongings. Holy crap she had a lot. :p~ I don't feel like going into the details but woo... her neighbourhood was quite creepy when we first entered the area. The houses were build facing one way -- not the usual straight so it faces the other house across the street like a mirror. They were... diagonal... weird... both sides... facing different directions... so..soso... weird. Well we went back and forth from the new house and old. Big bunch of SG people were there... yadda.

Finally today, Grady was dying to go out. So we dragged a bunch of people... Jon Li (aka. Long John -- lol; long story) 3-10-thou and myself! Yay foursome goodness... We dropped by each and every one of our houses to pick up money and munchies... We then decided to try out the new K place in Burnaby. Whee, being ever so excited we went and found that the location was quite far however it was practically empty in there. In fact, we were the first customers of the day. The place was roomy and not too badly decorated. We waited a bit for their computers to warm up. The manager(slash boss?!) taught us how to use their funky machine. We then started with ALL YOU CAN SING. They used this new program that the other K places didn't use (which is goood)... their selection wasn't bad not was it good either. They were missing a few of our personal favourites, which was the disappointment. After around 3 hours, the machine starts to delete our songs... then it started to replay the "default" song with was er (translated as...) King of Karaoke (err heh heh) again and again, even when we tried to cancel it. Then we called service; they said that the machines were all busted so they had to reboot. We were upset, but then at that same time we requested a bigger room (just cuz it's fun that way :p)... We changed rooms and then tried again... this time it wouldn't even play. We tried for at least 15 minutes but it wouldn't work. We went out to complain and so they came in to try and fix it. Once again they rebooted and said to wait a bit. So we sat around, sang to ourselves and turned off the lights (heheh..). After who knows how bloody long, they come in and say that it can't be fixed and told us to return in 2 hours. They told us we didn't have to pay (HUZZAH) and then we received a VIP card! Grady got to keep it though.. ;_; They were nice people... 'cept that other girl was trying to be friendly but wasn't really polite. She talked all "jokingly" to us most of the time (perhaps because of age differences?)...

We were disappointed... we had so many song we wanted to sing after that... we were hungry though so we went to Crystal. Wandered around the food court for quite a while to figure out what to eat. We had some okay food (not the greatest stuff)... then we went to Sakura Media. Long John was so happy to see the place and went crazy. They were having a Chinese New Years sale at that time, and since I wanted to buy something anyways, I decided to pick up a few things myself. Long John picked up a cd and that cat thing from Love Hina Again and I got 2 Tokyo Mew Mew keychains (Ichigo and Zakuro) and Sumomo~! We still wanted to buy those figurines that were displayed outside. Grady wanted Sailor Saturn (why? o_O) and I wanted ELK GAH! O_O!... They said they didn't have anymore and told us to go to the Richmond one. Since it was so far from where we were, we decided to go tomorrow since the sale ends Sunday.

Phew...
