Sunday:
Church. After, we visited our grandma and then had dim sum at Fortune (in Oakridge). Then drove home. I forgot to do some Christmas browsing at my dad's store... now I might not get the shoes I want. -_-; And the rest of the day was a blur.
Monday:
Jo called again. Her call woke me up. I thought I'd be able to drive her because the car was available but I said I'd tell her later. My mom came back a bit later with lunch (a late lunch -- @ 2) from Parker Place. Relaxed for the rest of the day and completely forgot about the dinner that night. A bit before 6, Eleanor calls me to comfirm. I realize my dad's not back from work and my mom's still here = no available car. However, we somehow planned a way for all of us to go at the end. My mom dropped me off at Eleanor's place, greeted by Dubi/Duby/Dooby/Doobi (I can't remember how to spell his name ;D) barking his head off at me. Didn't realize how scary he his, considering I haven't seen him in ages. I find Jo inside at Elie's computer. Soon later Helen comes with her ride and changes before we leave. We arrive at Cactus Club to find Angus at the door, waiting for people to get there. We all went in to find more people we don't know (at least for Jo and me). We took our seats and I sat across Mainland China-looking girl that sat beside Helen, which sat across from Jo. Throughout the dinner, Jo and I talked with each other, listening to the other conversations going on with the other people. The girl that sat across from me started to get really annoying as the night went on. She first asked Helen was school we went to. And the next thing you know, she tries to make conversation by asking where we were born but I pretend I'm busy eating... which I actually was. Instead she goes and asks Elie. It's more irritating than it seems. Is she trying to say she's smarter than us AND she's a friggin self-proclaimed 'honger' and believes we don't know any other language besides English? Then she thinks she knows Taiwanese but doesn't know how to utter a single word. We watched hockey and wresting and was kept amused by the chiefs in the kitchen. Ah, too much detail. After dinner, we went to Gelatos and found crappy parking. No one bought anything, which was stupid. Then we headed off to e-spot. Once again the self-proclaimed 'honger' in the other car claimed she knew where it was but then ended up having Gibson lead the way. We played a few games when we got there, (the best had to be Jo playing Fist of the North Star punching game), while the other crew played pool. We headed off to the airport afterwards to pick up some friend of Gibson's from Ottawa at 11:30pm. Jo and I wandered around the dead airport most of the time by ourselves.
Tuesday:
I forced myself to stay home.
Wednesday:
Silent Night. Was hoping I'd say home all day. Was playing ffxi until Mike /tell's me there to watch a honger movie at his place. Soon after, Jo calls to tell me the same thing. I agreed to come out and watch it, considering they said it was a good movie. After a delicious roast beef dinner (Christmas style) at home, they come pick me up. We got ourselves some bbtea before we watched the movie. It turns out the movie was Internal Affairs(!!) the first and the second. They should have told me earlier what the chinese name was so I could bring them a better version on VCD/DVD instead of VHS. Anyways, the first movie was great. The second one was so-so. The only thing good about the second one was Shawn Yue (pictures at Jo's page. He's awfully cute. ;)
Today I woke up to the sound of loud chatter outside my bedroom door. It was my parents talking with my bro. My mom gave me her present, to find a fleece Old Navy bag. O_O Somewhat surprising but quite the nice bag though. And that's pretty much all the presents for now. ;D Oh, from my bro the HDD a while back. And good stuff tonight?
