It's OVER!

Thank goodness...

The week before exams, I tried studying and really didn't get anything done at all. Luckily I was able to borrow the English text we needed to read from Tiffany and took the whole week the read that. I even tried reading at Bubble World to find a bunch of UBCers instead that prevented us (or at least me) from concentrating. Oh well, had good bubble tea nonetheless.

Amy's birthday on Saturday. A last-minute decision, I believe. Turned out a little wonky, but overall successful. I only showed up for the second part (bbtea) because I was desperate to finish the damn english novel. Felt really out of place when I was there though... the majority were from UBC, and they all talked within UBC only... Sat around... did nothing... contemplated on whether to buy myself bubble tea or not... then checked up on Tony and Sally... couldn't help the couple.. shrugged and returned, had cake and disbanded.

Crunch time come Sunday and Monday and did my English Final Tues morning @ 8:30. Wrote nothing but bs. The poem was somewhat hard to comprehend... and the quotations from the films and novels were hard to identify. Then we got our final essays back from back then to find that I almost FAILED IT. (C- btw) With quite the shock, I read her notes to find no more than two sentences saying the strengths of my essay were uneven throughout the essay. And that was IT. Learning absolutely nothing from her feedback, I scanned through the rest of the essay to find edits but they were scarcely written... Oooh, so frustratated and confused. Tiff almost failed hers too (super shock to her as well) so we asked some other people about theirs... Most people did a screenplay (FUCK I SHOULD HAVE DID A SCREENPLAY) but I was too chicken to attempt.. and I had the minimum required grade to do it too.. dammit dammit DAMMIT.. and they got high marks. ;_; URGA... moving on.

Later that same day, I returned to do my Marketing Final in the gym @ 1:00. It was awfully difficult compared to the previous midterms we had. The other students in his class also agreed with me.. *sigh* At least we were able to get a B+ for our marketing project with the FOBsters. Like Jo said, they weren't as bad at the end afterall... The toothpick girl's kinda weird though... at the final, she couldn't stop smiling and looking at me as if she was going to laugh (not AT me but...) so I'd look over to her and smile and... sorta look like I'm laughing and then.. I look away knowing she's still looking.. and grahgra, that was strangely awkward.

Relaxed for the rest of the day and more crunch time the next morning for Psychology that following night @ 6:30. The final didn't feel really balanced between the two chapters we were supposed to study. He repeated questions using different analogies but had the same answer which puzzled me... perhaps out of ideas? It was textbook heavy like he said and the gym was really cold as usual.

My dad's car started to die that night... Had to bring it to fix the next day with him so I could drive him back just to make it in time for my Japanese final. It was surprisingly straightforward and wasn't too hard. Irene and I decided (last minute) not to go to the Japanese "Farewell Gathering Dinner Thinger"; left the teacher sort of disappointed. Bleh, if it wasn't in Downtown and if my dad's car wasn't screwed I might have gone. Oh well, I'm sick of seeing the people in that class anyways. Which reminds me, we were given a collection of all the essays that were done this semester by our class... While I was waiting for my dad to pick me up, I read through and found there were a strange number of essays that were related to the internet. AND that little elementary school kid in our class is INDEED a typical elementary school kid -- his essay was about A-KO-GE (anime, comics and games -- he made that up) wtf.. :D And he talked about RPGs and Doraemon... yeah, typical alright. Kinda like another guy..(s) I know -- *coughhoandkincough*.

Returned to the world of Vana'Diel... had a really good Japanese party. 2 1/2 levels in a few hours. The day after, I got the slowest party that had major downtime, long battles and crap experience. Then, I was introduced to RO again by the users of my BBS that made themselves a private server (ohoho..). Wasted loads of time there, leveling up at every or every other kill. I'm at like 64/39 or something after starting a few hours... I don't know they're doing that yet but it's fun how people use the GM fuctions to do stupid things. :p They might try out another emu though and start again... oh well, wouldn't take too long to level up anyways.

I'm prone to writing long entries filled a week or more worth of events... I should stop that.

My new earring hole hurts.. ~_~

Wed: We winged the marketing project presentation. I panicked so much I just started reading off the powerpoint slides instead of my notes. But compared to the other groups, we were relatively good, I think.

Thurs: Went out for an expensive dinner with the family, because I requested so. :D Just had to go enjoy the taste of Alaskan King crab again... so THAT was my bday present from the family. Even though they ran out of bigass crabs and got a smaller than wanted one, it was still made perfectly. Ho-Ho-Ho... so worth it. XD

Fri: Started memorizing my japanese essay yesterday and realized it was more difficult than I thought. So I went and presented it half-ready and got a crap mark, as expected. He took marks off for my speed (;_;) and a question that HE couldn't even ask properly and promptly skipped in the middle of repeating it. Grr... he didn't give me another question to replace it either. Ghey.

After, went to Richmond for Richmond activities: eating, library and shopping. Sort-of bumped into Amy's bro.. I saw him at first, he didn't see me. His girl-friend saw me, pointed at me, he looked around and saw and then laughed or something and then walked as fast as he could away from me. Strange lil guy. Later that night, Jo, Amy and I went to visit Cheesecake Etc. by Downtown. The selection of cheesecake was small but nonetheless v. good cheesecake. Jo's driving's dangerous.

Sat: Woke up at ~10:30. Got ready and called Moni to find that she stayed over at Boom's so I didn't have to pick her up. Couldn't get ahold of Sty. Attempted to call a few more times and finally Saboo picked up. Found Sty half dead in bed and didn't feel like coming, so she didn't. Because of her I ran late and met up with Moni at Richmond Centre at 12. She gave me my b-day present -- more earholes! It was painful, yep. But we got jipped (sp?) and paid more than we should. Went and picked Boom up at his house from which he locked himself out of and headed to White Spot to find two very bored people waiting for us. :D We got to ordering as the waiter kept flirting with Boom.. lol. Since our schedule was all messed up, we decided to watch a later movie. After food and a mountain dessert, we headed to Aberdeen and and MORE dessert. Visited the new stores and the newly opened hardcore foodcourt with more than 4 different types of chairs and crazy design. We lost track of time, having too much fun in Daiso, so we rushed to Riverport for the 3:45 show of Hellboy. The movie was good, 'cept the sappy love-theme... Yay, I love the fish man. :D Thank goodness he didn't die. With time to spare, we headed to E-spot to meet up with a few others. Played a few games and had Time Crisis 3 eat my money. We didn't have the chance to play Street Fighter Turbo though. We met up with the rest of the few others at the dinner location, Tropika. We pointed at all of our desired food dishes that were displayed gorgeously in the menu and ordered like mad. We chowed on mango cake afterwards and was then presented the coolest present that night...! $60 at Iwase Books! Kee! Can't really get a lot with $60 sadly (4 mangas or maybe, not even, an artbook...)... I can't complain though, Iwase's stuff's expensive and imported but goood~ Still need to figure out how to spend it... Use it once every month for a magazine and finish it in 4 months or buy something different like an artbook, calender or fanbook of some sort... Anyways, Tony C left early to go work at Burger King night shift (lol, poor him.. so funny though) and the rest of us headed to a Lovegety-like place to take some sticker pics. We messed up the first machine, wasting $10 and only got ONE picture (out of 6 we wanted) with only 2 visible people, 3 half covered in the background and everyone else not visible at all. So we chose the biggest, high-quality version. It had a silly story we didn't bother listening to because they constantly made us squat and stand up to get the right camera about 6 times (up and down, up and down)... fun but frustrating and $10! We tried again with another machine and did much better with that one, with everyone that time. We finally made out way to Bubble World. Everyone already looked dead tired, so we just loitered a bit and everyone gradually disbanded. I drove Boom and Moni to Boom's place and got lost for at least a half n hour while coming home. I turned the wrong way and then kept turning around randomly and ended up at No.1 Rd... I called for help, but didn't get much assistance. Luckily, I had the mini yellow pages and found my way. It was dark, lack of cars and there were quite a number of police cars here and there. Bah, scary.

Throughout the whole day, Mike was trying to make everyone's lives miserable, even my own. Boom got plenty abused by Moni. My camera's batteries died when we arrived at E-Spot. I think I caught a cold too... either that or really bad hay fever. Oh, and my bro moved out and rented our basement to roommate with this other friend of his while I was gone all day. Oh, he just came upstairs to take a shower. LOL.
