The day started out like crap.

Got to Japanese class to realize I forgot to bring my English poem I had to hand it later that day. I got my Geo lab back to find that I got 1.5/2, not the highly-anticipated 2/2, even AFTER I did the damn optional questions that I thought would SUPPOSEDLY boost up the mark by giving an impression to the marker. But I guess NOT. Then once again, the lab sucked because I sit around people that wouldn't socialize with me mainly because they got their own friends. Damn I should change seats. And the strangest thing today... the guy that asked me for help AND kept OBVIOUSLY looking at my answers for our last lab is considered SMART in that class! People that look smarter than he does are going to him for help... wow. Thumbs up! I quickly finished my lab and rushed home to get it. Tried to help a few guys with the pay parking machine that ate their money with no ticket. Wasn't really helpful... Got home, made a few dozen last minute changes to my poem and got back to school. Analyzed two interesting "poems" today in English, "Woke Up This Morning" by the Sopranos and "Lose Yourself" by Eminem to end off the unit (thank goodness). I'm too cheap to buy the next books we need for english... I think I'll go to go the library this weekend. Got home after the last class, did some quick chores and watched Red and White Kouhakuuu!

Ohoho lots to say about it this year, even if I've only watched the first half so far! Before they started singing, I started to get excited to see all the COOL PEOPLE THAT SHOWED UP THIS YEARRRRrrrrrrr...!! Anyways, BoA started up Kouhaku with DOUBLE, then w-inds with Long Road. Then there was Goto Maki singing a Morning Musume song (not to mention, this year has lots of clothes-removing-and-voila-another-costume-right-UNDERNEATH singing), and Aiuchi Rina with HIGH JUMP! Then then, 175R is a band made up of ugly guys with a vocalist that SCREAMS for singing. Kinda funny but hard to listen to.. Bleh to them, not my style. Not to mention he's short when he stands with everyone else. Gee! There was Gackt with Last Song! Mmm, he looked good and ultimately a good song too. And I don't like EXILE. They just copy Chemistry. *throws things at them* And then the most SHOCKING THING! ZONE's TAKAYO LEFT?! AND I WAS LIKE WTF? NOO!?!? What graduation, you, you, LIAR! *throws bigger things at Takayo* But I hear there's already a replacement for her...~ And I recognize the same guy in the audience waving at the camera again this year... Heeh. Silly people. And everyone else didn't make a big enough impact on me. Well at the first half, the White team's winning... which is kinda disappointing. Hope that changes around when I get to the second half. :D

I still got so much to do this weekend... FFXI Summoner avatars, monitor hunting, Marketing case study, Psychology statistics assignment... *sigh*

Pearl Castle on FRIDAY. OMFG! The most EXPENSIVE BUBBLE TEA EXPERIENCE EVER. Ended up with $35 for 4 people ordering a drink each and some snacks. THE INSANITY!

Did some banking Saturday and had White Spot (mm so good). Went honger shopping with Mo2 afterwards at Parker Place and Aberdeen. Mo2 fell in love with these boots and wasted all her cash on that. Then we HAD to visit Daiso for some good ol' $2 shopping after being exposed to all the pricey clothing. Finally rushed home for some MASHED POTATOES. Good stuff.

...And apparently because of this guy in my FFXI linkshell who kept whining for some members to join him at Kazham for him to hit 30, I wasted my time helping him get members to join and then ride there and only got 2 hours of sleep. If I didn't decide to help him, I would have gotten Carbuncle's Ruby by now. Bard life was too slow for me. Though I always get a kick out of singing.

Sunday. "Studied" as Amy's place with Jo. We only studied for an hour and talked for the other 4 1/2 hours. Tried to study for more Psychology later that night but I fell asleep from the lack of sleep the night before. Tried to study at school today, fell asleep at my lunch break and almost forgot to wake up for English, missing half the class.

I wonder if Amy's enjoying Princess Tutu...

When I got to school, I saw a cute guy walking in the parking lot to class. When I got off my first class, I saw the same cute guy walking back to his car. When I went Psychology, I realize HE'S IN MY CLASS. Ahaha... sitting in the same row, one seat away from me.

Hmm, the girl that kept checking out the relatively cute guy in my marketing class since the beginning of the class went to ask him for notes. Why? Looks like she's desperate to hook up. At least get noticed by that guy. Why do I notice this? She's right in front of me and he's right behind me. Why would I notice this? She's a fake.

Had break with Jo today, so we went to Oakridge for some sidewalk sale shopping. Walked around to find nothing much, but Jo tried on a few things. She got herself some orange julius and went back to school, leaving me with one more hour to spare. I headed to Fortune to have dim sum with my mom and her other two gossipy friends. I had so much tea. They talked like tea.

PRE Happy Chinese New Year. WOoo.. Had dinner at my grandma's. Holy shizzat, the Mainland China woman's kid's a total bitch. The kid's three and she talks like, "Give it." and "What the hell are you guys talking about?" (in chinese). Damn, someone slap her. The mother doesn't give a shit. It's annoying to see children acting like that with their parents right there with them thinking its totally normal.

That reminds me of that cute girl who was picking her nose in the middle of the mall with her dad standing right next to her at Yaohan.

Okay, lucky money is good, yes. AND! I watched the 3rd period and overtime for the hockey game! OMFG WE WON, WE RULE, WE AHhhhhhhhhh... OT was so intense. My bro went to watch the game at GM today, ah, he picked a good game to watch.

EDIT:

I FOUND IT! ahahahahahahaha!!!!! -Me says:

how can you talk like tea?

Sayoko [ World's End ~rebirth~ ] says:

lots of tea = talk like tea = lots of talk

I FOUND IT! ahahahahahahaha!!!!! -Me says:

i don't get it...n/m

Was going to go boarding this weekend... can't now, ugh.

Earlier today, after dinner... I sat for a bit thinking of what to do. The decision was between FFXI, this blog's layout or my english assignment. I try FFXI, it's down for maintenance. I try my english assignment. I shrug and ask Tiff Jay for some assitance. Still feeling confused, I stop and leave what I've done so far. I go back to the picture I was playing with yesterday in Photoshop. And this is what I end up with. WOohooO.... I feel good now.

I just came back from a haircut. Hee.

So, the new classes of this semester...

Had to wake up early first thing for Japanese, to find all the same students from last semester (duh). Except, there's four (and a 1/2) new guys: a white skinny guy that reminds me of Anthony in my Japanese class back in High School (with the low voice n stuff), Brian that's actually FROM our HS (that knows both Korean and Japanese, why is he there :P), a not-so-pretty-girl with one of those "must-suck-up-to-teacher-every-class" attitudes, and the most adorable small kid that looks like he'd be in elementary school or junior high. When he speaks, he has that whole child-feel/voice that makes you wanna bear-hug him! XD

I unluckily got a boring-as-hell teacher for Geo. He'd put me to sleep every class. Even the students at ratemyprofessors.ca say so, lol! Monotone voice... doesn't have any enthusiasm, he's old, and rambles. And it's in those lecture halls I hate.

Same English teacher as last semester. Just because I don't trust any other teacher. Though, I'm quite worried about the way she's going to mark us. Knowing every student last semester (including myself) dropped a letter grade after finals. Worried sick. And essays. She's picky about writing style.

Marketing. Woohoo. The teacher's chubby and likes to whistle. He's coool. I've got quite the interesting group with me for my first few cases. More on them later.

First part of Psychology. The teacher's funny. Sometimes he tries too hard though. Apparently I haven't done any reading yet. The class average for the first quiz was 2/10. Highest was 7 and I got 3. Yes!

---

Crazy snowfall on the second day of classes. School was canceled in the MIDDLE of the morning! I went to my first class, Japanese, to find that the rest of the bloody day was cancelled! The snow was already piling like frick, and I had to BUS HOME. The rest of the school was also cramming their way into the buses to get home as well. I had to wait for 7 buses before it got to my turn. When I got to Knight St, I waited an hour, and no bus came. I started to notice people walking up and down the street in groups, so soon I got the message to find there were no buses coming down Knight Street. So I walked the rest of the way. Took me 3 1/2 hours to get home, when it usually takes 15 minutes only. Makes you wanna break something. Like some buses.

Went out last Friday with Jo and Amy. Went to sing K at Di Da Di. Had McDonalds for breakfast and lunch. Mmm.. fish. Apparently the other hongers came for K a few hours after we did and had a room beside ours. We sang lots of English songs and Amy stuck with her Chinese. The Japanese section still sucks as hell. Gee, I'm starting to not find K as fun anymore.... maybe because there's nothing that I could sing. *sniff* We went to visit Eleanor's crew at a Taiwanese restaurant at Continental rather than eat with them, for various reasons... Mainly, because I wanted to see who this Shuu character they kept talking about. Eleanor didn't seem that happy when we got there so we left as soon as we could... We're gunna try out the newly renovated Pearl Castle next week. :O

In FFXI news... I got a few advance jobs. I tried Beastmaster... today. Meh, I think I'll try Bard next.

And in Kidd.Nu news... I made some major updates in the past few weeks. .hackers gets a makeover, Hibiku gets rotated, Sora E gets updated, Blackwings.net also gets a cool makeover, fanlistings get updated... kiddnu needs a makeover, and so does this bloody blog. This layout makes me sick... XP I'm gradually getting there...

I love move's most recent single, 'Blast My Desire'! I'm going to put it in my mp3 rotation next. :D!

Returned from the Ski trip a while ago...

Body aching all over. Even typing is painful...

I'll try to be brief, need rest after all; school starts again tomorrow.

Eleanor called everyone up at 6am (wake-up call). Luckily Mike picked me up instead of having my grumpy dad drivin' me. We got to his place and met up with Elie and Jo who came soon later. The four of us headed off to Safeway first to do some last-minute shopping. Picked up snacks and extras. Next, we drove to Sport Mart to pick up our gear and be first greeted by the dick caucasian we met up with on Wednesday. We stood around for the guy to pass us our stuff and asks Mike for his credit card for the deposit-like thing. He tries to swipe it but fails to do so. He then calls up Visa to charge the card. Soon enough, Mike gets a phone call from the bank to warn him the caucasian was double swiping. Even soon later, Visa calls to ask about the double swiping. Then we have the caucasian and Mike both talking on the phone to the companies at the same time which took a good half n hour to finish. The caucasian acts all innocent and claims he doesn't know where the extra $200 comes from and says he didn't do and blahblah. His name is John. And he works at the Cambie Sport Mart. Find him. Get to know him will ya.

We got back to Mike's place and stuffed in the food in our already-fully-packed sacks. Jo and I then rushed to do school fee payment before we forget to find that the fee payment system's fux0r3d. We waste a great deal of time on it and finally give up. We rush to UBC, had McDix for brunch and park on the wrong side of the SUB. We're forced to drag all the heavy luggage to the other side of the SUB where the bus was waiting. Jo and I rush to the library to use the computers and successfully pay our school fees. We take a pee break and run like mad back to the bus where everyone was waiting. We end up getting crap seats by the washroom. Mike and I both had empty seats beside us so Wataru took the seat by me. The poor buy must've been bored to death cuz I was anti-social throughout the whole bus ride. Watched movies, though nothing was interesting enough so I attempted to sleep and listened to music. Ended up watching one movie out of the three... can't remember what it was. The bus dies half-way because of break problems so we end up waiting an hour for a replacement bus. We transfer busses and get on our way. We stop at Coquitlam for late lunch break. Had McDix FISH FRIDAYS. Good stuff. Bus driver gased himself with gas and made us wait in the cold for a good half n hour or so as he went to change his clothes. Went on our way again. We had a washroom break somewhere. We finally arrived at Big White! It was dark by then (8pm or something), and everyone was disappointed because we were delayed so much.

We unpacked. Got our crap rooms (compared to the other rooms on the other floors that the other guys got ;_;). Got dressed and went out for some night skiing. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know where was what. Instead of going for night skiing, we (Jo, Elie and myself) practised some boarding on a mini slope in the village. It was my first time boarding so I learned how to horizonal board and balance and get up and etc. After an hour plus, we headed back to our rooms and made ourselves some pasta. Watched a bit of TV and died. We were awaken at 7am by the wake-up call guys. It took us an hour to actually get up. Had soup, I think, for breakfast. Dressed and headed out. Practised at the closest and greenest slope, Hummingbird. Seemed like forever to get down. When we got down, Mike and Elie took the wrong lift back up and ended up somewhere high up. Jo and I went down the Hummingbird a few more. Jo gave up and went back to the room while the three of us decided to take on the same slope they accidentally took earlier. It was so fuking cold when we got up, our entire face and the head too hurt like hell we all wanted to cry. The wind was painful like shiet. Going down sorta sucked with Mike constantly screaming "GET UP GET UP GOGOGO"... made me wanna slap him for rushing me. We headed off for lunch after the slope that seemed like it took forever too. We had pasta/soup for lunch back in our rooms, watched the programs that were constantly being repeated on Muchmusic all throughout the winter break. We headed out again and tried out the opposite green slope from the "Easy Out/Highway 33" we took earlier that day called S... Scrwa--... I forget the name. Well it sucked either way. Mike and Elie headed off down without us as me and Jo struggled for dear life on this crap slope that had crap steepness and then sudden FLATNESS. After a long roll down the slope, we checked to find that we were only HALFWAY DOWN. With only 10 mins left before the lifts were going to close, we gave up walked down the rest of the way. The slope took us 2 bloody hours. We went straight back to our rooms right after to warm up. The other two met up with us afterwards back in the room and to also spread the bad news that nightskiing was prohibited that night because it was up to -60 degrees calcius outside (=instant death). We showered, and ate and talked and was visited by a Japanese visitor -- YOSHI (aka. GREEN MAN :D!)... They invited us to join them in their crazy parties upstairs but we were too dead tired to move. We finished up a few bottles of alcohol we left from the New Years party... we brought too little. We slept after, though it seemed harder to sleep that night.

At 7:30, the wake-up call woke us up. We slowly got up this time and finished the left over cans. We packed up, moved our luggage and checked out a bit after 10am. Mike went to join the Japanese crew for some of their hardcore boarding that was too hardcore for us amateurs. Jo didn't feel like boarding because of the soreness so she slept in the lobby instead. Elie and I went down the Hummingbird a few times for warmup and then headed up the Easy Out/Highway 33 and came down quite quickly this time (woohoo! proud of myself!). We bumped into the injured-by-the-tree Mike to get the camera back from him and decided to do some sight seeing by taking the Gondola down. We took some silly pictures when we arrived at the bottom and looked around and find a good place to eat. We went to spread the good news to Jo, changed, and came back down. Mike was determined to board more so he ate quickly and headed back up. The three of us ate slowly and talked and headed up as well. With good timing, we loaded up the bus and met up with the others. Got on the bus and got going. This time I sat with Kazu... Wataru must've realized my anti-socialness and got a new seat asap. :D The bus washroom apparently froze, so it was out of order but it stunk up the bus nonetheless. Kazu's singing ish really amusing.. :D But he sleeps with his mouth open, so it looks like he's about to drool at any moment D: ... I slept a bit luckily but woke up when we arrived at West Bank for early dinner. Then I soon realized I put my luggage on the wrong BUS... I ordered myself some hot water, as Jo and Elie ate. Mike got candy from the nice Wendy's old lady :D... Got back on the bus, slept a bit more and missed the beginning of American Pie 2, so I didn't watch it at all... people stopped for the last washroom break before the long ride. I didn't get off though. Headed off again. After American Pie 2, we watched Catch Me If You Can, which I watched (Leo's in it :D!)... We didn't get to finish the movie though.. ;_; Unloaded when we arrived. Moved my luggage to the SUB and waited for the next bus. Everyone else left. The other bus arrives, I get my luggage, Mike comes to pick me up, we go and eat at Golden Award in Richmond for dinner. I go home. Mom yells about the fact that I have to return the rentals before noon tomorrow. She spazzes like mad. I tell her I'll do it on my break tomorrow. I sigh, I attempt to finish this really fast with the pain my arms, with the preppy Goto Maki music playing in the background, receiving the Simon Party files from Phillip, talking to my LTNS cool cousin that works day and night, and thinking about how shit school will be when it starts up again tomorrow... damn.

*looks up* Damn that wasn't brief at all...

It's been exactly a week since I last posted. The week's been fulla stuff. I can't remember everything atm. And I don't feel very detaily...

Christmas Day. Dinner at my grandma's place. My Mainland China auntie invited some strangers (strangers to us, acquaintance to her) to our dinner. Wtf to that. Whatever, it was Christmas so I'll let it go (even though she does that EVERYTIME WE HAVE A FAMILY DINNER). I got movie tickets from my aunt, and some lucky money from others. Later that night, I went to the 'Christmas Party' hotpot thing to find that they were STILL eating. Some of us watched World Idol on tv while we had nothing to do. We cheered on the singer from Norway by constantly phoning in to vote for him. Played a bit of MJ and Smash Bros. Pretty much it.

Boxing Day. I did absolutely no shopping. I only drove my mom to work. Later that night, Jo, Elie and Mike invited me to Starbucks. We talked and discussed plans for the ski trip. Jo's drink exploded over my pants.

Saturday. Can't remember.

Sunday. I remember we bought Mc Donalds back home for lunch that day because of the snow.

Monday... why did we wake up early again? Oh yeahhh, shopping! The four of us woke up early to buy shopping stuffers for our ski trip. Eleanor had to work later that day so we had to be quick. I was surprised to be picked up by Mike without sign of Jo or Elie. But anyways, on our way down, we get a call from Elie to find that she wanted to go to Yaohan all of a sudden. We met them there, went inside and visited the asian supermarket. Upon seeing all the asian foods, we started to buy food that wasn't on our planned shopping list. We argued about pancakes and dumplings and ended up with a strange basket fulla stuff. We finished and headed off to Superstore. There was a giant black pool of water in the middle of the parking lot we had to dodge. We stormed in and picked up the left over shopping items. Elie left to head to work when we lined up to pay. It was then we decided on dim sum. We went to the dim sum restaurant across from Yaohan (expensive stuff). Ordered more than we could eat and ended up with a plate of noodles that I had to bring home. We sat around longer, sipping our tea after we paid to tick off the waiters, which I think we successfully did.

Jo wanted to refund a number of things so we headed off to Future Shop first. As she lined up, Mike and I looked at a number of things causing the employees to think we were actually interested. After a good plus hour, we sat in the car feeling awfully lazy. We talked as we gradually fogged up the car. Then we suddenly remembered Simon's party. We called up Simon to ask what he wanted to do and ended up with us planning most of the things for him. After that was settled, we visited a few sports stores for more miscellaneous ski equipment. Night came around and we felt hungry. We headed off to Fukuroku Sushi for some Japanese. Once again, we ordered more than we could eat, forcing ourselves to finish a few things. I believe we went home afterwards? Either that or no memory left of it.

Tuesday. No idea. Home?

Wednesday. Woke up early again to pick up our snowboard rentals. We arrive to find that the prick caucasian didn't want to rent it to us because he would make us pay for the free day the other guy agreed to give us for FREE without charge. We left in a huff and had lunch at Oakridge White Spot. Everyone had to go the bank. We ate lots and Jo made some returns. Elie and I spotted a hawt guy working at Gap Kids and I think he saw us staring lol. Elie went to join up with the party people before we did. Jo and I decided to accompany Mike to the vet for his dogs (and the forgotten cake :x). We went back and had a bit of trouble getting Louie into the car but ended up ok. Jo and I went to pick a cake while Mike did his vet stuff. We visited a few bakers and spotted a good cake we thought we'd come back to get later. We wandered off to London Drugs and picked up a bottle of Sobe for the upcoming Karaoke later that day. We poked at the electronics section for a while and returned to the bakery to get the cake. We headed back to his place and ended up playing some N64 games and sleeping. After we missed the karaoke, we dropped off the cake and met up with the rest of the people at E-Spot. We heard about the disappointingly expensive karaoke and the failed bbtea meeting and felt bad for Simon. We played some arcade games, took some pictures and watched them play pool. Soon we went to the Japanese restaurant for the late-but-cheap all-you-can-eat. The receptionist was a of a pushover to know how many people exactly were going to come. We didn't know exactly at the time so we told her who was there already. So she gave us a dinky spot. We started off with some mad ordering and began to feel full very soon. Phillip had his digicam so we made some silly videos (which I have to ask him for asap!!) that kept us cracking up the whole night. But we had a bunch of disrespectful teenagers sitting behind us that kept mumbling and repeating loads of BS. Soon Tony and Sally showed up and ordered like mad too. We couldn't wait so we took out the (supposedly) surprise cake tht didn't turn out surprise after the girl came out and put down some new plates. We all asked "What are these for?" and she answered "OH for the birthday cake!" and we were like.. :D "Uhhh, it was supposed to be a surprise. :D" but ah well. With only half n hour before the New Year countdown, we quickly paid (the lady charged us only 10 people -- supposedly 12 attended and ate) and sped to Jerry's New Year party. We arrived with 1 minute remaining and counted down with the tv :D. We left about a minute later (lol) and went to Mike's place. Some hongers already showed up and stayed to play more Smash Bros and MJ. We started with some light liquor. Elie drank a bottle too quickly, and being unstable and weak she felt sick afterwards. She puked a few times and so Mike helped her with some tea and such. Jo and I tried the cute adorable Absolut Vodka bottles and had to drink it with some lemons. :/ Sally found Coke somehow and so we tried what I suggested, SMIRNOFF VANILLA TWIST -- AHH OMFG -- IT RULED WITH COKE! I played a bit of smash bros with the nonalcoholics until they left. We started to doze off so we all attempted to sleep. It took me a while to sleep, after rolling around many times. Throughout the night, everyone made different noises -- moaning, snoring, farting, shuffling, moving... And all of a sudden at 8 in the morning JO WAKES UP TO WAKE US ALL UP FOR NO REASON. But we all go back to sleep afterwards :D... We awoke again at 12pm feeling a little groggy but no hangover. ELie left early to join her parents for lunch. We had dim sum with.... MIKE'S FAMILY. It was strange at first but it was interesting overall. We had lobster congee for lunch, lol... most expensive dim sum dish ever eaten. After, I was dropped off at home.

I did some packing and relaxing and soon headed off to New Years dinner. We ate at one of our favourite seafood restaurants on Graville. The "GHEY" waiter and the "GAMEBOY" waiter from last year were serving today, lol. It was a very, very good dinner overall. Near the end when we were having desert, I was enquired about my ski trip tomorrow. A little excited to talk about it, I tried to enjoy the conversation. However, my parents and my brother both were against having my dad drive me early to mike's place tomorrow morning at 7am. Yes, I agree it's not fair in their part to have to wake up early for my sake but I didn't wish to sleep over another night, and I told them that. I wasn't even done packing and even suggested that I'd bus myself if necessary. Somehow, the feeling of being betrayed by my bro for not even being on my side and all the other overwhelming discouraging and anger remarks my mom's been giving me lately caused me to start crying. So I started to weep my eyes out and tried to keep it in, without making it look like it's a big deal. No one said anything to me after that. The strange thing was, if someone were to ask me what was wrong, I wouldn't know how to explain to them what was wrong. Even I didn't know myself... I guess it was one of those times when you just gotta cry to let out everything. But bad timing nonetheless. My Mainland China aunt kept staring at me. I wanted to fucking kick her in the face. Not to mention she kept glacing at me during the whole bloody dinner. I'm still quite teary eyed... and to add onto that, I've got an upset stomach. Either its the damn dinner or its that time of the month.
