Chantico + Pho + BBT = !

Oh, some UBCJA and us (Shinsaku, Morris, some JPN girl name that started with M [two syllables...], Sho, Elie, Mike [left before the movie], Shu [came after food] and myself) went to watch Constantine yesterday night. Before that, we had trouble deciding what to eat. We narrowed it down to Chinese, Korean or Japanese at the end. We were at Metro, so Korean was out of the question and the Chinese place there was kinda meh so we ended up eating Japanese. The movie wasn't too bad. 'Cept I had to sit beside a couple that had a ditzy girlfriend and a geeky boyfriend who bragged about his.. TETRIS SCORE? And throughout the whole movie the girl would be like.. "Whoa shit." "Holy fuck." "Oh my gawd!" (The third one, especially)... The best scene in the movie would be the "I'm thinking..." scene, heehee. Such a cute smile, Keanuuu! <3

Agh and I actually woke up early today! That's like crazy stuff to me, considering I usually had no reason to wake up early the past... uhh month? Damn has it already been a month since my unemployment? Well yes, it's that time again when the parents (especially the mom) start biting your head off to get you to find a job. Yup. But back to today's events... I met up with Jamie (aka. Tek) and his ahem, CS friend (ahaha so cool ;D) John, visiting again from the island. Uhh, we met at Starbucks and we all got ourselves a drink. And I uhhhh... tried out the Chantico [finally!]. It was... wow. It felt like I'd get a heartattack from the thickness of the chocolate... but the strange thing was, the liquid wasn't thick... only the taste was thick. But wow... I'm still kinda scared and I'm surprised I even finished it. We walked around a bit and headed to lunch. And then, I ordered the wrong thing (stupid fxx@#edup numbers!) Ahh, it was more than I can handle... The chocolate already filled me up, so the pho was just wrong! I don't know what was wrong with me! Anyways, we visited a few more places and then headed to E-Spot (yesyesyeyes arcade)... We wasted lots o money and I got to play my beloved game (solo too ;D). I am sure I'm at lvl16 now. Good~ :]] They also tried out the bus game... they were v. bad bus drivers. Still full as ever, we went back to Parker for some bbt. So uh, why did I drink the bbt? I don't know... including that, I'm currently in the process of dying. I totally skipped out on dinner. Bah I feel gross. Too much food for one day.

Oh, I forgot to mention how bad my driving skillz were today. Since I knew the area, I lead the way. We had to drive to two places: 1. Espot - Uhh, there were a shit load of cars for some reason going out the Cambie exit, so I shoulda went out the Browngate exit but noo... I had to go all around and be dumb. Then I changed lanes so badly, I forgot to leave room for John to cut in behind me. So I almost lost them. 2. Parker Place - ooh Ithis was extremely bad. I felt real bad too... D: Hmm, I turned out from Espot towards No.3 but there were, again, a shit load of cars, so I ギリギリ turned and forced my way through. D'oh, John was stuck. Because of this, we got split up and I ended up parking at Parker while they went back to Aberdeen. Then there was communication errors between me and Tek. I thought he was at Parker, said his sms (I thought P2 = Parker Place II) but that made no sense, cuz he wouldn't of known about "Parker Place II" and why the messed up shorthand? :P) He actually meant Aberdeen so wtf, I walked to Aberdeen, to Starbucks, inside, looked around and went wtf and walked back to Parker Place to find that they were already inside Parker by the food court. Gah. My eyes are starting to blur...

Now the question is... do I still wanna go out tonight? The parents are gunna bitch. Yes, about no other than "GO get a facking job instead of going out why don't ya!" kinda thing. Not that I don't agree with her though... I do need to get the cash flowing again... for the sake of AX, my manga purchases, my food expenditures, and the feeling of being rich... oh and, making parents... happy satisfied [enough].

Whoa it feels like my vein's gunna pop. I got, like, high cholesterol stuff going on here... Abnormal, fast heartbeating... gaaa, heartattackkkkkkkkkk.......

Brain Pain

Soooo like I've got brain pain since the UBCJA bandshow. My fault for standing so close to the speakers. I blame it on the annoying tall people that don't realize they're taller than the average joe.

Right, lets start with Friday.

Friday was Der's b-day dinner. We ate at a pasta place that starts with a C on 4th. There were so many people, we sat on two separate long tables. The food was pretty good. And guess what?? MORE all-you-can-eat sour dough bread. Maan, I love bread. :p Due to Sho's influence from the night before, Eleanor's been having too much fun with the zoom fuction on the digicam... especially that night. After food, we headed to Mike's house. Everyone did their own random things... poker, electric piano, punjabi music (?!), alcohol.... That is, until some of us decided to head out for some good ol' bubble tea. :p We went to Dragon Ball, sat around and drank. My drink sux0rz. I never liked Dragon Ball, but anyways... We decided to call it a night, earlier than expected. Apparently Der didn't feel really well and left early, closing the party. Poor guy, but oh well, he's legal now. Btw, 1 1/2 months left for meeee~

Saturday rolls around. Got there early with Eleanor and Simon. Loitered. People came in gradually. Met up with some other people. The first band was interesting. Everything was good EXCEPT the vocalist. Poor vocalist. Poor Maria no Tsumeato. Too much guitarman showoffage. The drummer's cute, oh and good, yes. :]] Tall man standing in front = annoying. Next: chinese rock. Hn. Wasn't really appealing to me. A lot of... 'roaring'. The start of the brain pain. The guitaring was good though... I liked that. o_o Umm, next was Tony's band. Or should I say Shu's band? Shu and his insane scream singing lol... so awsome... so intense. Couldn't hear Tony playing though. :[[ Next, the brain pain was becoming too hard to withstand, I went out of the room. More loitering. Tried to shake off the pain. No good. It began to ruin my appetite. Felt like guck. But anyways, I heard a few more bands from the outside. The next band had a nice vocalist. The one after that also had a nice vocalist. Except... uhh 何かメンバーは・・・えっと何か何か・・・綺麗じゃなかったとか、ん?美人じゃなさそうとか普通ぽいとかさぁ・・・マジでがっかりだった... but they played well so no biggie. I wanted to listen to the rest of the peeps, but my brain felt it was going to explode so we left when Eleanor was done. We met up with Sally and Tony at Honolulu and had late-night food. We had the strangest conversations...

Gaaa, I finally got my hands on Fruits Basket tankoubon #16. The story between Katsuya and Kyoko... aww man, it's so sad and depressing. And then I realize... _everyone_ in the world of Fruits Basket is 不幸 one way or another. :p (I can't think of the english word right now... the japanese came first so) Yeah, it took me 16 books (and like four years?!) to realize that. And then the preview for #17 at the very last page...

Akito and boobies! XP!!

Ah and another happy thing! Sou-niisama's custom design FREEDOM STICKERS IN MARCH NEWTYPE! AIEEE!

I'm done squealing!

Oh the Excitement~

Tony was xanga-ing, so I thought I'd blog too.

Man, UBC's reading break's nothing but going out. :]]

(not that it's a bad thing at all, ふふふふふふふ~)

No income though, however.

There's only out, no in.

Anyways, on Wednesday Shi^2 and Mo^2 came over and played at Can^2's house. We played some good ol' SSBM and then had fun rolling objects into a giant ball of random matter in Katamari Damacy. That game's wicked. Especially the music and the King of All Cosmos lol. After the gaming fun, they were kicked out of Can^2's house while Can^2 sped to Burnaby to pick up a guy who lived somewhere she's never been to before. I called the house but no one picked up, 'cept I saw a shadow peeking out the door constantly. Thankfully he (Sho) saw me and came out (phew~). Then I had to speed back to Vancouver to pick up Eleanor and then poor Morris at the gas station. Aww, we (mainly me;;) made him wait there for almost a whole hour in the cold >___<;;. We had bubble tea and talked a bunch. Ohoho, they're so amusing and funny. Afterwards, we went to Richmond and met up with Shu at ICON for karaoke, since he insisted that place. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeh Icon.

Today... I mean Thursday, was Tony Kiki's birthday party~ We had it at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Richmond. Mike and I arrived first (accidentally...) so we waited for almost a half n hour before other people started to arrive. Apparently they postponed the reservation by 15mins without us knowing (but that doesn't explain why they were STILL 15 mins late then!)... Uhhh, we kept eating the all-you-can-eat sour dough bread while we waited for people and afterwards, deciding what to eat. Even though I shared a plate, I was still too full for ice cream AND ice cream CAKE. OOoh the insanity. But even though I blame it on the bread, it was too good to resist. XP After loitering around and forcing the cake down, we finally decided to leave. The majority ditched leaving us 6 (Tony Tony Sally Simon Jon Me) to raid Tony C's house. Four of us played MJ while the other two had their fun with their PS2 soccer game. We played 3 winds before we decided to call it quits and aha, I won the most tonight!

Funny, I'll be sleeping the same time as I did yesterday.

In other news, I bought a psycho in a box aka. Stella ルーシェ (Louss..ier?).

Restaurants only offering nothing but their Valentines dinners really suck. Can't eat anything normal. It's either lobster or... lobster. The new thing for Valentines Day: Valentines Day = Lobster.

I was able to buy Daifuku today. Yummage.

Purse stealing crime has increased and Wal-Mart is getting their ass kicked by the union in Ottawa.

I've been spending the half of the past week bumming with Monica. Doing things that bums do when they bum. 恋人同志が分かればすごく寂しくなるよねぇ… Unfortunately, we failed to find entertainment from video games since we lacked some rather important equipment required to play. Eheheh...

合コン
Okay, so JA Goukon Friday night. Didn't know what to expect actually but it was enjoyable. We did some games and then had our non-filling meals. I sat on the same table with Cat (accidentally preventing Cat and Helen from sitting together.. >_>) and these two other guys: a caucasian guy by the name of Alex who heeehee had the 'nicest' jacket and spoke Japanese cuz of his stay there and a friend he met while staying in Japan called Sho. The two were really nice but unfortunately since I was antisocial with people I don't know, Cat did mostly all the talking and I mainly just listened.

After the food, people started planning an afterparty and the idea of Karaoke was AWSOME! Unfortunately once again, due to lack of transportation and those who had transportation didn't wanna go, some of us decided not to go while some just left. For us left overs, we decided to karaoke elsewhere and then bubble tea. But somehow, bubble tea won over karaoke and we bubble tea-ed instead. Apparently Helen and Cat love LG so we went to LG. Oof, overrated place. I can't say the place sucks but it isn't that great.. :p Anyways, green tea ice cream burble tea was WATERY. WHERE ISH MY ICE! The girl that was working at cashier was someone I recognized from somewhere but I had no idea who she was. I think she recognized me too... but nonetheless, no stamps cuz drinks were on discount @ $3 flat. So we sat around and chatted afterwards for the longest time. But the conversations were soo amusing and fun. やっぱりだけど、ヘレンさんとキャトさんがなんかすごっく煩い声高で話した… Half way, I followed Eleanor home to pick up her car so やらしぃさん can go home. We talked too much and too long so we decided not to karaoke afterwards after all. At the end, Eleanor and I had a fun ride driving around cities to drop off bodies (from Vancouver -> Richmond -> UBC -> Burnaby -> Vancouver). ほー

Then comes looked-forward-to Saturday. Thank goodness for reservations cuz we got our sushi table at Richmond Sushi almost as soon as we got there. We enjoyed our ahem, Deluxe Menu which was quite.. yeah, deluxe. Then we bump into Mike and Daniel afterwards when we were about to leave. We make our way to ICON after overfilling our tummies with food, trying to keep our laughter (and soon enough our food) in. We sang for 2 hours before we realize if we stayed any longer, we'd be poor. I kept cracking, it was not funny... I'm out of practice. ;_; Last but not least, we finished the night off with ARCADING at ESpot! Ahhh, we attacked Guitar Freaks. Um, I think me and Simon improved! (Huah, go n00bs!) We're at Standard 13~15 now. To top it off, we played our favourite old school game -- photo hunt. Aww we miss the game...

I forgot to mention last weekend... LXC had fun trying to make a body cast. It was rather amusing... It just so happens it was the day of the Superbowl too. (Btw, superbowl = teh b0red.) The crazy guys upstairs (watching the game) constantly had orgasms, I swear. But anyways, our victim Rob was a very cooperative victim indeed. And Matt has the most messed up computer. It's so messed up we had to use Safe Mode.. really now.

Okay now, must attack Sing^2 next.

Days Off...

Hung out with long time no hung out with Monimoo the past two days.

We tried out a new food place by our neighbourhood on Victoria. They had an interesting daily special for sushi, so we had that. Afterwards, we also tried out a recommended bubble tea spot next door. Nothing but obnoxious adolesences screaming about. The drinks were alright. They apparently gave out complimentary snacks out if you "eat in" but you don't get stamps. We "ate in" anyways as we examined their menu thoroughly. Those kids kept eating and eating and eating...

The next day, I met her after she finished work and we did some long time no honger shopping. We had good food at Honolulu first and then headed to Aberdeen then Parker. I somehow lost an earring along the whole trip. That was rather upsetting. We earned 3 quarters from the "push mountains of quarters off ledge by inserting more quarters" which fell out by themselves after a family finished playing. Can someone say more bubble tea? :D

I forgot to mention about the Banana interview. It was horrible lol. I got the lady I didn't like to interview me but she asked the same questions as Gap Kids did. But I answered them differently... in the bad way. I kinda rambled this time and just did a crap job. I forgot to pass by Roots. Did I mention they closed down?
