Sooo.. due to a number of discussions and circumstances, I dropped the SBC job. I seriously HATE declining job offers.. it feels like just a waste and it's also a disappointment to the employer. But I guess I can't be greedy and have them all (I'd like to though.. :33).
First I had to wake up at 8am all of a sudden to have a talk with this other guy who offered me this other job over the phone. He told me all the details of his company and etc and then wanted to meet with me on Monday, the same day I am to start my barista training. I didn't plan on dropping the SBC position initially until I realized it was impossible to do both. But when I think about it again now... the chance is not big but, there is still a chance where I won't get hired by the other company too. Let's hope that's not the case...
Again, a great big thanks to !Stygien! for being online at the right time so I got a good 3rd person/outsider point of view. Then to Jo for being more enthusiastic than me about getting the job and making the decision. And everyone saying the exact same but true statement: "You won't have to deal with shitty/crappy/nasty customers". Said by Sty, my bro and Jo respectively. Anyways, more detail on this later if I get the job. :b
King crab season's over! It's rather saddening but we managed to organize one last king crab family dinner before the end of the cheap season. And we held the last dinner at our favourite restaurant to ensure the perfectly prepared crab. I think this season was rather good... we tried out some other places this year because they offered better prices. Nothing beats the restaurant on Broadway (called Rich Ocean btw <3)... the first one was a 8 pounder treated by my bro, then the awsome, massive 11.5 pounder that I treated the family to at our favourite Rich Ocean place then my dad wanted to try out this cheap place that I mentioned before which was -- I can't remember -- 8 pounds too?... then our last one was only 7.5 but it's taste beat all the other restaurants so it's all good~ Okay enough about food.
Snowboarding tomorrow. Probably our last for the season. That reminds me, I gotta find someone with a 2 for 1 for Whistler.
And here's what I got for a quiz: Heart Sick Soul (for girls onry)... so true for me. (Maybe 'cept the writing their name in all my books)
