Urraaa!

I made myself a reminder that HOT GIMMICK #11 COMES OUT TODAY! Weird. :D

Anyways.. now I'm FORCED TO WORK! I think they want me to continue working in-case I suddenly find another job and run away from them. Which is true, cuz it's gunna _SO_ HAPPEN! I got to work today and it was empty... apparently the majority of the people there are not very punctual. A lot of water drinking and washrooming. Didn't do much but did a few data entry tasks for a few containers... Then I had to greet the BOSS FJIEWOFJEIWOFE! It was awkard knowing that THAT guy just laid my ass off and suddenly stopped the money flowing without any notice whatsoever until like fricking DAYS later. Anyways he wants me to stay now. He's making me waste my time sitting around doing nothing in a very very air conditioned room. At least he agreed to pay me. NO MONEY? NO WORK! BBQ? NOPLZKTHX!

So I had to use this guy's computer/desk... and apparently he doesn't use the numpad at all. My job requires lots of number typing... so after typing tasks, I'd have charcoal fingers.. then I'd go and wash up. At least this washroom is decent... it actually has stalls (two actually), doesn't require a damn KEY, doesn't require long hikes and it has a paper towel dispenser that actually WORKS! Wow. That's probably all I like about the place though. The guy's computer desk is fecking uncomfortable -- oversized chair [for the big guy], awkwardly spaced monitor distance, the pull out keyboard is so damn LOW and the chair's so damn HIGH. I'm not heavy enough to push down the springs D: Bah!

I made a rather funny mistake today though... So the guy asks "So is everything alright with you so far?" (as in, getting used to everything) and I answered "Yeah, I've got nothing to do.... yet.[d'oh]" Too late, wrong answer. :D I should've been Yes, everything is fine dododo *pretend to be busy*. At least I can make conversation with the other lady and apparently she's not too happy with her job either. :X Ah well, stepping stones stepping stones.

The same guy (maybe call him Mr. Big Chair) I think realized my uneasyness when I went and called up my original branch manager about my current employment status. He was sorta stoned and dumbfounded on the phone so I think he went and contacted the boss (eep) and then Mr. Big Chair guy again. Mr. Big Chair guy then gave me an employment record sheet to fill out. And when he told me to fill it out, he came up close and said it really softly. Creepy, it was. Maybe he felt my pain of NOT BEING PAID. "Don't cry little girl! Here, here... we'll give you money!"

Mm... I look forward to another day of nothing work.

I'm so damn slow with the news but.. OMFG!
UTAWARERUMONO'S BECOMING AN ANIME!

No details yet but wheeeeeeeee~

That's as awsome as hearing Black Cat, To Heart 2, Demonbane, and Fate/Stay Night being animated!!

I say they should animate Muv Luv next. And maybe Hot Gimmick. AIR GEAR might be interesting too. Having Agito screaming, "ファック!ファッキングカラス!" XD It would be amusing to no end.

... What The!

A sudden change of events...

A what was thought to be another BBQ day at the boss' house ended up being sent back to the office for "helping out" (knowing there is absolutely nothing to do) so I knew there was something up. When I got there, the first thing I was presented was my ROE and was told the boss stopped PAYING US SINCE LAST FRIDAY! Then following was whatever's left of what they haven't paid me yet and told me to apply for EI. Mmm okay. What I didn't understand (at first) was why everyone was still so diligently working even after they just got um.. well.. disowned unemployed. And the it clicked! Everyone wants to keep their job I see... *coughunlikemecough* Eeek, now's my chance to run!

Someone should've told me! It's as if I'm supposed to know.. if that was the case then, I had no reason to join his puny little BBQs and waste perfectly good days sitting around doing NOTHING and being anti-social. But the thing was... I was "requested" by the boss to be there. Why, what! Why!! My parents say maybe he invited so I'd be soo bored out of my mind, I'll quit myself eventually.

Nonetheless, even though I'm unemployed right now... they apparently want me to -work- at their other branch Monday (and probably for the rest of the week) so I popped the question asap about my cha-ching and they were like.... "Yeah you'll get paid, but by what means, I would not know". So wtffff! I got a bad feeling about all of this... either get paid too little or it'll take them forever for them to pay up. Fack, gimmie my monies!!!!! I'm here to work not to screw around!

Did I mention they also took away free lunch privilages?

Hmph, I'm off to go watch The Island for free now. Bubye. :[[

Aww and we're having BBQ at home tonight... damn.

Hahaha.. someone buy me this:

It's so geeky and cool. XD

Anyways... I bumped into Phyllis and Andy Mak at Oakridge today. They haven't changed one bit. :D We planned an outing sometime next week. Whee~

So at "work" (aka. the boss' house) today... I got paid being bored out of my mind. And drink tea. I don't know what's better or worse: being bored at the office where it's dirty but with internet or clean and comfy but BORED as HELL at the boss' house sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Yes I have a thing for cleanliness. To most, the first option would be preferred but to me... they're both equal. A co-worker of mine feels my pain and is glad he isn't in my shoes (he gets to do the fun yard work and occasionally gets to unload a container or two). Sure I can help with the yard work.. IF I WANTED TO. But I don't want to so :b... I'd bring somethere there to do but to not be that bloody obvious I'm 'entertaining' myself, gameboys and the related are out of the question. I finished everything there is to read that I've yet to read: finished Kill Me Kiss Me, caught up to Ouran Koukou Host Bu and Air Gear... there's really nothing left. I like what I read; I read it fast... that's why there's nothing left. What else is there to do... I think I've been appointed the official BBQer now for tomorrow. Fun. I heard we'll have to go to his house _everyday_ until the strike's over. Goodness, someone... something.... save me. I wish the strike's over... or not. If the strike's over, we'll be flooded with 3-weeks worth of work. The longer they strike, the more work it'll be... but getting paid to do NOTHING right now. But... that's so... D: Nooo, I don't wanna face reality! *runs away from it all*

Returning to Work...

I got paid to have BBQ at my boss' place. Hahaha... really, I'm serious.

It was strange that I got a call from my manager yesterday to go to work the next day... especially when there hasn't been any news about the truckers' strike ending anytime soon. So I got to work and I noticed and recognized a lot of cars that belonged to the on-call workers. Okay, I thought, maybe we're all just standing by because somehow we found out that the strike'll end very soon... so soon it could be anytime now. I get to my seat and no one tells me anything... I turn on the computer as usual... Soon, even MORE co-workers start showing up. About 45 mins into the day (@8:45AM), the manager comes down and tells me to follow everyone to the boss' house cuz he has some sort of 'meeting' and then meet up at the other branch. He also mentions that we were able to find some other independent company willing to grab some containers for us from the port to the other branch, so yay good news. So then I figured oh they must've called me in to help out on the other side. Everyone car-pools and gets to his house and then we start SITTING AROUND in his garden. Then the boss starts talking about how he plans on cleaning up his garden. Soon enough our warehouse workers officially become professional gardeners in a day. So we got swarms of warehouse guys hacking at the trees he wants to cut down. I, being office lady, just stare and watch the whole time. They soon find a beehive. It must be removed, yes. So someone starts a fire and begins the beehive extermination. It was rather quick and relatively painless but very amusing. More people start showing up and the uh oh, approaching lunch time. The boss gets me to follow him to shop for FOOD. ME ALONE WITH THE BOSS JFEIWOFJEWFWEOK! No details, but it took a lot of time. When we got back it was already approaching 2PM. Someone took up the grill and started cooking... not the best choice for the chef, but ah well. Everything was rather prematurely cooked. Then I got paid reading Kill Me, Kiss Me tank #5 (yay finished the series~) in his comfy living room. I love Jung-Woo... but I realize the story warped so much.. it's not even about the same people anymore (except Jung-Woo but he wasn't the main char >_>;;). The weird translation was... well.. weird. Not to mention they cut a lot of corners, literally. There would be incomplete faces and bubbles on every other page... it's just annoying. Anyways, returning to the day's events... I got driven back afterwards and went home. The end. :D Tomorrow: Repeat.

My paycheque is going to suck. A week + a day of no work because of the trip and then.. *counts* only 2 working days in total. Ha..hahaha... damn. Let's hope that won't be the case and that I have a counting problem instead.

Oh, btw I'm loving my phooooone~ The Fido-Rogers integration gave me a heart attack, almost. I thought my sexy phone was deemed glitchy because I couldn't call or receive. *shakes fist*

I need to give my blog -- er my whole website -- a makeover and then some. I feel creative and wanna do something yet I feel lazy at the same time.

Wow my computer desk is a mess.

We (my bro and I) are going to reserve the whopping $300USD FFVII: AC Ultimate Collection. Huuah~ We're definitely going to get it but we're still waiting on the North America SquEnix marketing side... impress us you smelly North Americaners! It's never that impressive but still.. :D Still got time, still got time.

Oh, we (parents + me) visited the Queensberg (is that the name of the area? I can't quite remember) new "outlet"-like mall (where the Walmart is). And I kinda went on a little shoppings spree at the Tommy Outlet store XD... weeeell, since I currently have an _especially_ _special_ _liking_ in polo shirts and their current style theme are POLO SHIRTS... I WENT MAD AND TRIED EVERYTHING O__O! And there was a sale on top of the sale items so woohoo! *will visit again, nodnods*

Mo^2, Shi^2 and Can^2 went to watch March of the Penguins. It reminded me of a cartoon movie I watched when I was young that was similiar though it wasn't in a documentary format. Unfortunately Mo^ and Shi^2 had no idea what I was blabbing about. Oakridge BBT is now deemed too sweet. I think I've unofficially fallen in love with the BBT store on Victoria (the one with PASSIONFRUITJELLY!!!).

Back to.. Normal?

Right when I come back from my trip that night, I get a msg from Tony Kiki about Tony C's birthday party the next day. Uguuu, no money and yet I have to go spend some more... Anyways, it was a beach BBQ where there was a lot of charcoal confusion, demands for food and everyone just acting their strange selves.

And no, everything's not back to normal yet. The strike's still (luckily?) in effect and so work's boring as hell. Just today, one of the warehouses nearby caught on fire early in the morning and burned for hours. Apparently there's some sort of ammonia-like chemicals inside the warehouse and now the whole area's gunna be blocked off. We were informed by a police lady sometime around 3 about the situation, so we were told to leave early (in-case it blows up, yeah). I visited my beloved bookstore after work to realize that D'oh, truckers strike, no new Newtype. Instead I went to cancel some of my orders that I already got at AX. Mmmm they weren't really happy with cancelling and were all like "We normally don't allow you to cancel D:" and I'm like ";_; I normally don't cancel (cuz I'm loyal to you guys ;___;).. I'm so sorry ;__;" but yeah.. unhappy they were. They might remember me from now on as the gaijin that cancels orders. So when I was driving home from the bookstore, something fell in through the window (big, brown, spikey maybe, ball-like?) hit me on the head and rolled down somewhere. It disappeared somewhere... I thought it was a friggin bug at first... but even now I still dunno what it is.

So yeah, Sty's version of the CCS Crew group picture. XD I started a trend.
