Aghahgahgahg WORK

I swear I do nothing but rant about work.
I should be happy I even have a job to start with?

Naaaaahhh!

So at work today. Very productive.
When I got in, I took a deep breath and approached the manager. He shoves the inventory task at my face. I was like W-T-F! The only difference was he had some other guy help me. Ugggh I hate inventory. Whatever, I couldn't exactly 'refuse'. After that was done, he told me to go out and help scan stuff in the warehouse. This time..
I was like, "Uhhhhh...."
He then said as the eyes in his big penguin head were quivering, "Is that okay?"
"Uhhh..."
"Okay, Okay?"
"*mumbling-ish* I don't really have a choice now do I... Well, my position's office. Isn't there anything office-related for me??"
"No there isn't." And he LEAVES.

LEAVES ME THERE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
So for the rest of the day I surfed the web for notebook information. It's so awkward to be the only one not 'working', considering everyone's getting paid doing something or not. Feels a bit unfair. I sure felt it was unfair. Anything NON-warehouse task is pretty okay to me. I just dislike the warehouse.

I left asking the manager if there was anything for me to do tomorrow. He was like nothing except warehouse stuff.

Later when I got home, the big boss calls me and tells me there IS nothing to do [for now]. I reluctantly agreed to help out in the warehouse in the meantime. My own fault for not going out and finding another job so. I'll just have to deal with it as it is. Even though the si-lai clan still don't approve of me, the courier side employees are friendly, so it's all good.

Yeah about notebooks man. There isn't one out there that's POWERFUL ENOUGH! I originally wanted a VAIO cuz I'm loyal to Sony and I like the logo but their books aren't that great. I hate Acer. I see them at work. I hate Acer. For a good powerful notebook there's the Mac PowerBook but I don't like Macs. I've seen and used Simon's and it's... too annoyingly functionful [too many nick-nacks] and has too many annoying animated transitions n stuff. Just lots of junk I don't want, even though it doesn't take up any resources doing so. Then there's Alienware. It's powerful but expensive and their cases are ugly with their alien-theme. I then came to like one of Toshiba's notebooks but it isn't available in Canada right now. I don't especially like that particular book's processor choice but everything else is pretty good. But hey, what do I know.
