A Down

So! Let's talk about my first day returning to work.

Okay so there was nothing really different about it except the people. Many new faces, LOTS of old ones haha... I wish I worked on the courier side, they're so much friendier than this crappy SI LAIっぽい side. The old geezers (yes, as a matter of fact, they're ALL old geezers working on this side) are SO FUKING 8 and can't stop gossiping and complaining and shit.. like, holy crap, stfu. My pay hasn't changed much since the last time I worked here.. manager position my ass, really. Let me just hope somewhere along the way my boss will notice and go "hey, I told her the pay is VERY DIFFERENT so I will keep my word and give her MORE!" hahahaha.. I wish. :( Let me put it this way, I'm getting LESS than my previous job at the spa and it wasn't that spectacular there either. Well, no point in fuming about it... I might ask about that second option [that somehow disappeared in the process] where I get to work at the new place instead. I'd rather; I currently don't have my own personal space, the working conditions are still dirty and my COMPUTER, OH THE HORROR. The keyboard is black... black due to the cummulation of dust and dirt throughout who bloody knows how many years. The warehouse workers come and use this computer once in a while too so you can imagine. Water and tissue didn't solve the problem, though I wiped up a LOT of black crap from it already. *sigh* Deja vu, I remember ranting about something similiar last year... So I wasted my morning staring at the si lai that's currently doing front desk/customer service, my previous position here cuz my manager says "I'm out of it" from not working here for so long. Yeah whatever, you just couldn't find anything for me to do. Afternoon came around and he throws me stuff he can't catch up on (which I've done before so it was nothing really new). Then halfway through the afternoon, he gets a phonecall from [I suspect] the other manager from the other branch that I thought I was going to work for talking about sending "someone" over to him when "he/she's" done and the penguin says "he/she understands but he/she's slow at it [wtf!] so I'll see when he/she's done". It felt like it was about me but there was no way I could finish over 200 pages of his leftover messed up job in time anyways.

I visited Daiso. I was in the stationary section and on my way to check out an awsome-looking permanent marker, it SPILLS ALL OVER MY HANDS! It was so damn permanent, soap didn't remove -any- of it. I was in the washroom for a good half n hour I think, trying to get it off. With a lot of rough effort (ouch my hands), I was able to rub most of it off. Now it's still stuck between the nails and the crappy spots. In exchange, my skin's peeling and it hurts a bit from the dryness. That reminds me, the ink won't come off my shoes [thank goodness I felt like wearing my old ones today] and my pants [thank goodness they're dark today]... [thank goodness it didn't hit the upper half of my body].

Why's it always my hands. My precious hands. Cuts and scrapes, dirty keyboards, really bad permanent ink... I have an obession for clean hands too. Bah.

The Ups and Downs of life. Today was quite a Down. Did I mention my gas receipt fell out of my bag, flew under my dad's car and I had a hell of a time trying to retrieve it?

Night Market Night Market NIGHT MARKET. LETS GO ALREADY!
*pushes Mo2 & Shi2 over*
