love problems on the net...

0 comments

Yes.. a weird subject to bring up. For the past year on irc... There's been a particular character that has fallen in love with me. By the name of Butterfree or Flare... Though I understand he's younger than me by a year... I find him very kind a sweet. He tells me everything about him, but unfortunately for me, I don't tell him anything about myself. I believe it must be the fact that I'm more shy that he is.. and the fact that revealing my true identity will cause him to act differently to me. Ah... I just found out something I didn't know and just by typing this out made it figure it out.

Another situation.. on the message board.... it seems like Hitokiri Ray aka Yusha has taken an interest in me?... and everyone's making it a big fussy about it... especially those like Lil Wolfy and ToFu.. -_-;;;

if you could just be closer to me...

Sakana-chan returned two days ago... Ushi should be coming back this weekend. Ushi and I planned on going out with everybody on Sept. 3rd right before school starts. So, of course, I had to spread the word. Jo suggested going to Metro, though not exactly my favourite place to hang. Just a while ago, Will IMed me and told me that a bunch of guys from PW were gunna go. Okay, wait wait, PW? Why should they go if we don't know them? It seems like Mochi seems to agree with it cuz she wants to "check out the guys".. but I recall she's picky about her guys and only like those who are jap. What's the deal? T_T And no, I'm not that interested to meet them. I don't think the ones we'll meet will be "good looking" anyway considering the fact that they're friends with Will (*coughcough*).. Ah, but besides, that, I haven't heard anything from anyone else.

This might turn out to be a disaster, inviting those we don't know. And I don't remember inviting Will either... XP ...Must be the work of Jo's.. Hmm, how shall I go upon this?

Tony messaged me about his timetable conflict. He couldn't get into IT and Japanese, which worries me. Though, if I had timetable conflict, they'd be phoning me last week, which is somewhat relieving. I'm positive I couldn't get into IBIT though, cuz of dumb Pirie! *whaps Pirie with a keyboard repeatedly* Why didn't you hand in the damn form when you're supposed to?!?!?! Now I might have to live through the year with physics... =_=

puzzle puzzle puzzle

0 comments

I brought out a jigsaw puzzle my mom bought a while back she told me to put together when I had to time. I had the sudden urge to put it together, so I grabbed it out and started. It's a 300 piece puzzle that's Hello Kitty! Though 300 shouldn't be that hard, but for some reason, it was. The hello kitty head repeats 6 times (same picture on same background colour) in the puzzle. Then the butterflies and flowers (yes, butterflies and flowers) triples the amount. So far.. I seem to be enjoying it... 'cept the fact my eyes are sorta sore... I got big chunks of it completed, like the blasted hello kitty heads... there's at least 100 left to put together. I'm thinking.. should I finish it? If I do, then that'd be too quick to finish in less than one night... hmm?

edit:

I actually stayed up till 4:30 to finish the puzzle but I still didn't finish it! I finally finished it now cuz I only had a few borders and inside pieces to put in... Woo! That was kinda fun...

dreaming! dreaming! another dream!

0 comments

I go to a mall close by Richmond Center by bus, but in my PJs, figuring I wouldn't see anyone I know anyway. But when I was about to leave, I see my friends sitting down and just saying "Now we'll just wait for Candace" says Florence. Then they see me. I tell them, "I'll come as soon as I can, I'll go back to change. They wander off doing whatever, as I squish through the rather squishy crowd with a weird setup. I take the bus back home and change.Taking the bus back, I bump into someone....

Onto the next dream... this old lady says wearing this ring will prevent getting shocked by electricity. I put on the ring, fill the sink with water, and wet my hands. Then I plug it into the wall and watch the electricity flow through me. Then the old lady cackles "See, I told you it works." And then I dry myself and so forth.Another dream... After a dinner at this very high class mansion (with my friends taking every expensive jewelery and so forth), they leave first and we sit around, resting after the meal. Then the owners of the house come storming in in their big fur coats and old wrinkly faces gaping about their lost prized posessions. As if they don't notice us, we sit there watching them.

As this connects to the previous dream... We steal a truck/van from someone.. it's rectangular shaped and dark green... a guy is driving.. as two others are behind us. The guy in the back was dressed up in a costume to look like my friend who has blonde short hair that I don't personally know. Because I forgot some previous dream stuff.... It seems like we're driving the local roads of my house, until suddenly, someone hits the van. I look behind in the mirror and see nobody. I hear someone hit us again and I look back to see a bunch of guys with long knives. I tell the driver to go faster. Then we hear that someone has climbed up on top of the van and began shooting us with a gun. It was right above me and the driver, but for some reason it didn't hit any of us. I start shooting above, but for some reason, my shots were slow. I told the driver to go the specific ways then I said the only way to escape them was to go to Chinatown (and yes, the way we were going was going to Chinatown) except the road was different. There were no buildings and as if we were going to a freeway. He told me to drive because he wanted to shoot the guy above, so I climbed over and only managed to sit on his lap. I never driven before (because I haven't learned how yet obviously, considering I'm only 15) so as if in a racing game, I sit the walls a few times, until I got the hang of it. The guys were screaming at me the first few times asking if I knew how to drive or not. Then the freeway went into a tunnel, and I screamed out, "Ahh I hate tunnels!"... For some reason the car's headlights were bright, so I saw what was in front of us easily.

The walls were all woody (not cement and dark)... I forgot something here, then we arrived in a game-state room full of big things I had to acquire by moving the car around but in a different point of view. Af if I saw the car from afar, above like a toy but it was hard to steer. I collected dice-looking numbers and big round balls till I almost cleared everything until I noticed something hidden behind a piece of newspaper. I open it up to find japanese drama-recorded tapes (like the ones from the haircutter guy), magazines, jars of candy and stuff... I quickly grabbed as much as I can. I heard some person complaining, until Kawamura-sensei told her to shush and watched me.

When I was done sweeping (I didn't clean out everything purposely because I didn't want to be that greedy) the bag I was to put in wasn't mine because I also stole that as well. So I found a really big plastic bag and put it into the bag so if I were to change the bag I stole, I can take out the plastic bag easily. I put them in an organized fashion. Then the driver friend asked sensei if she had a paper bag that was long like [ ] with the paper handles on the top. He found one, and so did I.

Then it ends there.

Dreaming of adventures, apparently

0 comments

Last night, I had a very long dream. And they say, right after you dream and wake up, you should write it down. Unfortunately, I didn't of course, so I forgot bits and pieces of it.It was like this video game type thing, in the beginning.

*insert forgotten memory here* I found a slingshot on the floor and used it. *insert forgotten memory here* Then there was the final boss who looked *insert forgotten memory here* but very big. I was with another friend, who was female but I don't remember who it was. *insert forgotten memory here* I tried to hit it with the sling shot which took off 0 everytime I tried. Then, after a few times of that, I suddenly decided to hold it (kind of like Unreal, when you hold onto the fire button to charge up whatever you're using) and then I fired, hitting 200 or so. I did that 3 more times, and then he died. *very very big chunk of forgotten memory here.. had something to do with tunnels or something*

The next thing I remember, I was in this house with my friend, Flare, from IRC. As well, there was a gang of other people I did/didn't know there as well. Then there was this lady who stood in front of the door, blocking the way. For some reason, I remember asking a kid for advice on how to get out and he told me to jump over fences but when he did, he got stuck once and he said it "hurt a lot". :rolleyes: Ah, anyway, so me and Flare went through the backdoor and looks around for an exit. They were all locked so we went towards the fence. I found a part where the fence was low, so we jumped over. He followed me as I jumped a few more fences then *insert forgotten memory here*... arrived back at the same house, but on the other side of it. The lady who was blocking the door was blocking the right side (so now we're on the left side ~_~). She "hmph"ed and turned away, as we walked out.*insert another big chunk of forgotten memory though I remember something really big happening, escaping from something/someone*

...I'm at this building looking for Flare, when suddenly, a friend of mine who's bald and is a guy (don't know him, but recognized him as a friend for some reason) grabbed my arm and pretended to be my bf, hiding his face away from a guard that was walking beside us. We walked down this long zigzaggy corridor, trying to make conversation so we won't look suspicious. *insert forgotten memory here* The sections of the corridor were different coloured, there was black, green, red and so forth... I remember asking (when trying to make conversation), "Are we there yet? Do you remember which room he's in" and stuff... The guard finally turned at a room in the black corridor section. As we continued along, we arrived at the yellow corridor section with the room number of 22, which was where Flare was supposed to be. I remember myself trying to memorize the number so I can find him here again. When we went in, we found him, sitting in front of two tvs on a couch watching TK and Kari moments. -_-;;; Okay, so us two sat on the floor, watching with him. *then big chuck of forgotten memory to end the dream off*

what an evening...

0 comments

Well, the day's been hectic. Relatives decided to stay over for dinner... They first said "Well buy the groceries" until they called earlier today and said they only bought the roast beef and some cauliflower (sp?)... In other words, making us have to buy the rest of the meal. Just upon hearing the fact we had to buy the food I was displeased. Why do we gotta buy it? I know at the end, they won't have to pay for the things we've bought, which bugged me. However, having to feel like that caused parents to erupt massive amounts of "angry-ness" from their spouts, sending chunks of "arguments" and boiling "madness" spreaded across time till the early evening.

Then, forced to cook the dinner as well. Wash, chop, clean, boil, pour, stir... with very little help (ughh! >_<). Then the the bratty, persistant lil devils came. The baby couldn't stop running around, screaming while the annoying boy pest HAD to bother everyone else (especially ME)... and finally, the snobby girl who kept pleading to play lego (AGH LEGO I TELL YOU!!!). If the girl played, the boy had to play too, the girl doesn't like the guy, but the guy won't go away, so she forces him away causing the boy to go to their mom, creating some more conflict, making the mom go scream at the girl, then the boy returning to the girl and then the cycle goes again... and again... and again...

I want to say more, but I'm too tired to do so.

die pink slimey, wormmy and fly

I finally recieved a response for my account creation for an online korean game after only two days of waiting! It was as good as expected, except the majority speak korean and I only found one person I barely knew who ignored me... -____-;

Anyway, they had this topic in SG about this game because this guy was introducing it to everyone, getting them to play too. Just like the others, I had to get my hands on it. I downloaded it about two weeks ago, wanting to install it but afraid of my bro. Earlier this week, I had the nerve to install it, and had a bit of problem with it. But resolved when I decided to wait for this package to unload itself very slowly (it installs but doesn't show anything like 25% out of 100% completed unpackaging ~_~).. When I got it working and my account ready I got on! The characters (I think purposely) resembled characters from FFT (just cuz they're copycats or something =P). It let you create 3 characters so I did, but mainly used one of course. She had nice red hair (like me!!!) and the other two were a purple head (like Mahoro -- that's why her name is Mahoro) and another red head, different style (Ayumi.. she doesn't have red hair but, that's her name!). Quickly moving on, I wandered around going to the fields kicking some "pink slimey, worrmy and fly" butt and leveled up to 5 (then the computer freezes and I had to restart =_=) UNTIL!!!!My bro suddenly appears in the room and sees me playing. I shreak and wanted to quit but I pressed (!)"DELETE CHARACTER"(!) (because I was in the loading screen loading up my char because of the reboot) and blehhh it disappears. And I'm like NOOOOOOO!!!!! (in my head anyway) and quickly recreate the char but I was moving quickly so she was on default (a blonde). Ah well, then he spazzed claiming the game's not fun and wasting his precious computer space and being a total pain in the butt. I brushed him off and closed the game and waited till he left. When he finally left (which was a VERY long time) I got back on. Got myself to level 7! And then stopped (because night was approaching and he might return at any second).So, being as evil as I am. I copied the game folder to root and deleted it, leaving it in the recycle bin. When he returns, I'll tell him to dump it. *mooooohahaha* From now, I'll just have to be more sneaky when I play and make sure he won't return anytime soon. ^^

Choppings

I had my haircut today! ^__^ My mom suggested this place close by the usual place I cut owned by a woman and a japanese dude named Mike Matsukura (Err, something similar anyway). The japanese guy sort of shares the store but doing their own businesses and so forth. I didn't know what style to cut so the guy showed me a bunch of japanese hairstyles-related magazines. All of the choices shown were pretty nice but I still did choose one.The guy was off schedule so I had to wait there an extra half hour which turned out to be 45 mins instead! First he washed my hair as expected but his previous customer was still not done yet! After the shampoo, he left the conditioner in my hair for at least 15 mins as he went off to finish up his job.

And.. returning to me again, he finally got onto mine. While he was cutting, I enjoyed watching some Japanese Talkshows that was on tape that played. One was about the different weird houses people built themselves or customized. There was one made out of beer cans. Seriously, the whole house/fence/walls were made out of beer cans. *_*

Overall the job was pretty good, considering he took a total of 2 1/2 hours on it and he was pretty detailed (in the cutting) and friendly (in personality). 'Cept the most frequent two phrases he says are "Excuse me" and "Thank you".. o_O

Though, he didn't get the right last touches I expected. Too much volume and not enough angle.. the woosh woosh effect XD wasn't applied much. Perhaps I'm just being too picky, expecting the exact results as the magazine. ^^

One Day Trippy =]

Woke up early to join up with my aunt and uncle to this one-day-trip-to-the-states day. -___-; We first had breakfast locally then we headed off around at noon. For some odd reason, there were very long lineups at the country boundary inspection place. Forcing us to wait at least an hour to get through. =\

Dum dum dum.. down the freeway, it took quite a while though we didn't go far. The destination was Bellingham and this outlet they like so much. The worst thing was: it was raining. Toooo much rain, even. ~_~ The place was somewhat normal sized, not too big not too small. There was a shop that was very very cheap on... kitchenware? o_o Other stores were average but it was just fun enough to look around.

Ooh, we went to the Costco there!! *_* It's not as busy as it is here. One thing for sure, things are more spaced out, less people and exclusive groceries that Canada doesn't have! XD Erh, anyway... Even though the day didn't seem that long, but it was... It took up the whole afternoon. o___o We headed back, of course, it took less time due to less traffic and all that.But it was still raining so bleh.

Organizing Stuff

The only school supplies I didn't buy today were binders. I, for one thing, I didn't think I'd have to time today to buy school supplies in the first place. So, I didn't know how many binders I needed and how many I already have. I wasted my time today doing something good (-_-;;) by cleaning out my binders to see what was needed and what was not. The result: Two bags full of useless used paper ready to get dumped!

Everything was here except one particular binder. A binder which I hate due to the subject it was used for. One word: MATH! >___<;; Either way, even though I hate the binder ever so much, I had to use it anyway. For one thing, it saved the money to buy another. Oddly, it was nowhere to be found. Lying on the floor, asking myself "Why would I throw it away?" if I even did in the first place. I caught a glimpse of how nasty the bottom of my bed was. It was downright dusty. And I hate dust.. -_-

Wasting more of my pathetic day, I cleaned out everything under there and did a major sweeping and vacuuming. I was left with a sneezing fit, but at least it was clean and more organized.Now, tired of being such a cleany weeny (....--;;), I'm going to go treat myself to a japanese drama. Good night!

Review time!!!!!

As planned, YES I got Animage! A few significant things to mention...

Upon noticing the article on the animated Angelic Layer, my reaction was: Erhhh.. I'd first imagine Oujirou's hair to be blue, not green. Kotarou's hair to be black not blue. And Icchan to be more scary lookin' (in the funny way)? He doesn't look perverted weirdo like he does in the manga. XD Guess I'd think differently if I saw the anime first. I wonder if the characters go all SD and body gets all flimsy too?Hayashibara Megumi sang the opening of Shaman King with Over Soul... the single has her wearing the same stuff the female lead girl is wearing (the bandana, clothes... jewelery o____O).. Velly interesting indeed.

Yuki from Fruits Basket has purple eyes... it scares me so!! >__< And wasn't Kyou's bracelet supposed to be orange and black (or maybe it's just me?)? o___o There's this new anime called.. err, Najika something something.. is about two females holding guns? Isn't that kinda like Noir?! Oh the joy of ranting...

I saw this on the web too.. another Kenshin OVA. Whoooos dat woman!! *_* This as well.. X! XXXXXXXXXX! Subaru is such a cute! So is Seiishiro and who wouldn't forget KAMUI!!!!!!!!Now, after just flipping through it, time to get in-depth.

I had watermelon for dinner... weird, but sadly true. The plan was to order pizza at first, but all of a sudden, my bro disappeared off the face of the planet (house actually). I invaded his fixed computer and went on a surfing spree.

Currently, hard to get used to, but rather interesting change to the new computer. It's dual screened, so you had to look at both monitors (well only if you put something on the other side to the other monitor desktop). Of course, since there is such a nifty feature, who wouldn't use it? I had about 8 browsers opened at once, going to different places at the same time. Yes, that's very significant to me because I can't do that to my own computer... ^^; Even if I did, I'd be waiting hours for it to load... Now, to make it absolutely perfect, we need the DSL connection! XD The only disadvantage for that is that none of the stuff I want to access will be on the computer (e.g. my files, my programs...). So still, I have to rely on the old pile of trash for my stuff.

Another Sunday

Well I had a rather interesting conversation with my friend, Ushi over the phone about practically anything that came to mind, just yesterday. I haven't talked to her since the end of school which was about a month. When she called, she was at the airport waiting for her flight. =]

I actually went and purchased Pokemon Crystal Version. o_o Well the Gold and Silver versions sounded pretty cool (with all the new nifty features) but I never got it. My bro had the Gold japanese version, but peh, like he understands most of it.. XP Anyway, since they say in Crystal, there's both Gold and Silver I was like.. oh ya, two in one! Neato! I've played for a half n hour so far... I chose Chikorita to start with! "Chika!"

I had some shway breakfast at White Spot! I ordered that... erh, I forgot the name of it already... But it's Waffles with Berry stuff! You get to pick the berry sauce and mmmmmm! Blueberry! Goot stuff! ^______^

Farewell Night Out

0 comments

It was Kentarou, Yuuta and Takuro's last night here before their trip back to Japan. They had a goodbye ceremony at the school they stayed at for the past 3 weeks. We invited ourselves to the ceremony, though we purposely went later so we didn't have to watch the whole thing. The school was all the way at Surrey... think the school was called Fleetwood Park, err something. =_= Eleanor's mom's friend Taka did all the driving. He knew the transfer students kind of well and their relatives.

There was a lot of people there, as expected. And of course, the majority were japanese transfer students that were in the same exchange program as the one's we knew. This time, only Eleanor, Viv, Simon and myself went, because there wasn't enough room in the car for anyone else.

It was a somewhat formal party, for the transfer students and the family that they stayed with. The majority of the girls wore kimonos or the kimono-like ones.. what were they called? Started with a Y... anyway, we took a seat in the far back, watching from there. Various things happened, which we didn't really notice much because it was somewhat tedious hearing/watching it.

To end off the ceremony though, all of the transfer students got up on the stage and sang their national anthem and O Canada. ^^ (( I spotted a cute guy on the stage *_* )) After, they did a big clean up job as we discussed what to do afterwards. Our car followed the other minivan car which went to Yuuta and Kentarou's stay home.There was a horrid cat in there. If it wasn't for my allergies, I wouldn't be fussing about it. Anyway, we made our way downstairs and sat around as the others packed up. We bugged Yuuta quite a bit while he was cleaning up, like raiding his room when he didn't want us to. ^^; We taught Takuro a bad phrase in english again~! We taught him: "You Suck!" LOL! ^_^;;;

They were real nice though, they gave us parting gifts: Eleanor got a japanese magazine (o_O), Simon got to keep the toy with the ball thingy ma jiggy, I got a mini wooden slipper and so did Vivan. Forgot the exact name of the toy... we got to play with that at school once. As well, all of us got a sweet smelling paper kimono! ^__^

We went on a taking picture frenze as well... Furthermore, we even got to know the owner of the house a bit. They were real nice people. The funny thing was, they had another international student in the house that came from Australia called Daniel!

It was finally time to leave. It was approaching 10 by then. We gave our goodbye hugs (which was kind of awkward o_o;;) and said bye. Takuro got into the car with us because we had to drive him back to his own home. The four of us had to squish in the back as he got to sit in the front >_<;... In the car, we asked Takuro a few questions about Japan and all just to get to know more. Like we hypothesized, it took us 15 mins exactly to get to the location in Delta. We sadly said goodbye to Takuro too. The ride home was peaceful... though I had a slight headache.

ANNOYING

Okay.. so an average Saturday night. Another day of staying up late to do whatever I feel like doing. SO! I got up and did a little poking around the board and spotted the "Whoa, GUYS!!!" topic. Okay, so I thought... another big freak fest, lets see what it is...

My first reaction was.. Eh?
I kept reading... got to the point where my reaction was.. WTF?

So I looked over to the other board and checked out the topic. Reading along... then I started to get irritated. So this biatch thinks she knows everything and decides to try and screw us up? Nya, I didn't care much at first but I wasn't happy, still.

I'm saying.. this girl who likes to spazz has no right to spazz about it by making it a big deal.Though, I am rather glad other people are helping out in defending up the rep.I have such the urge to kill her. That is all.. just one mere wish.. is that too much to ask for?

Singing your brains out

0 comments

So, it was a pretty good day out today. This morning, I woke up nice and early for Saturday morning cartoons. Naha... there was nothing interesting on. -_- I noticed the commercial for Yu-Gi-Oh on KidsWB for September. I hope they don't mess it up (which I highly doubt but anyway...) and besides, I've only read a few manga chapters, so I don't exactly know much about it myself. I somewhat look forward to that.

I arrived at Aberdeen and spotted Simon first. For the first 10 minutes, no one showed up. --; A bit later, Eleanor and the jap gang showed up, followed up by Vivian. We made our way to the game corner and we spotted something beautifully placed in the corner, where the DDR 4th mix was. We stared at its screen for a while and read... Para Para Paradise. @_@ We were all eager to try it out, so we all took a turn on it. Meanwhile, others just played EZ2Dancer. Soon enough, Flor and Jo showed up as well.

After a long stay, we finally moved on with the day. We rushed over to the nearby mall, Parker Place to check what other arcade games were there. There was ANOTHER Para Para Paradise... o_o Okay, the majority of the group fled for something to drink while I tried out another game. Err, I forgot the name... ~_~ Where you only use your hands and.. hmm, I think I should go find out. Anyway, then returned with drinks so I quickly went and bought one for myself.Continuing on, we walked down quite a bit of blocks to reach the destination: Do Re Mi Karaoke! ^__^ We were relieved when we arrived! We made haste and got ourselves a room.The music list was pretty good, considering that we have all tried many others before. There was a big thicky book on Japanese music ^O^, which was cool. Overall, our songs were a mix of english pop (e.g. Janet Jackson), j-pop (e.g. Ayumi) and some other asian music. I didn't believe at first, but there was a whole lot of Hamasaki Ayumi songs. Eleanor went in a panic when she first saw them. o_x In the bunch of books, I even found some Anime music... And guess what solo I did? Sailormoon R - I am Sailormoon! XD Gwahaha! I believe that was one of my first japanese songs I ever liked. Maybe because I bought the CD when I was very young (and Sailormoon was soooo cool! When Stars just came out and all! ^^ )...

After 2 hours, we noticed the time and called it quits. It was 5:30 by then, and many had to leave at or before 6:30. We almost forgot to take pictures so we rushed back to Aberdeen. =\ We took a few cards and stickers.. then we finally departed. We said our farewells at the front door and went our ways.

I miss my DDR 4th Mix... ;_;

Really Old Stuff

0 comments

I found some dusty diskettes hiding between piles and piles of CDs of all sorts. I checked out what was inside... the most oldest stuff I've seen that brought back lots of fond memories...

Well lets see what there was... my old VChat character (who was a yellow round circle with feet and arms)... my Post Pet food bits and friends list... my diablo character data o_o; ... banners of my first website made by my friend ... last but not least, fulla beautiful memorable logs of numerous rpgs on irc. All in a "last modified" span of 1996-1999 o_o.. the majority was in the 96-98 time. Man I feel old and I miss my friends.. ;_;

*sniff sniff* We must go on! No turning back! There's still the history of the past in our memories (and in the diskettes) and will live on forever (only if I loose the diskettes).......
