I had my haircut today! ^__^ My mom suggested this place close by the usual place I cut owned by a woman and a japanese dude named Mike Matsukura (Err, something similar anyway). The japanese guy sort of shares the store but doing their own businesses and so forth. I didn't know what style to cut so the guy showed me a bunch of japanese hairstyles-related magazines. All of the choices shown were pretty nice but I still did choose one.The guy was off schedule so I had to wait there an extra half hour which turned out to be 45 mins instead! First he washed my hair as expected but his previous customer was still not done yet! After the shampoo, he left the conditioner in my hair for at least 15 mins as he went off to finish up his job.
And.. returning to me again, he finally got onto mine. While he was cutting, I enjoyed watching some Japanese Talkshows that was on tape that played. One was about the different weird houses people built themselves or customized. There was one made out of beer cans. Seriously, the whole house/fence/walls were made out of beer cans. *_*
Overall the job was pretty good, considering he took a total of 2 1/2 hours on it and he was pretty detailed (in the cutting) and friendly (in personality). 'Cept the most frequent two phrases he says are "Excuse me" and "Thank you".. o_O
Though, he didn't get the right last touches I expected. Too much volume and not enough angle.. the woosh woosh effect XD wasn't applied much. Perhaps I'm just being too picky, expecting the exact results as the magazine. ^^
