Merry Christmas!

Belated! But! Yay Christmas!

December's been quite the crazy month.

We're got so many damn sweets as Christmas gifts at work from the members. I horded all the Rocher. Victory.

Well, I've dropped my phone TWICE on the pavement now. Its one side's all chipped (it keeps falling on that one side)... it makes me cry everytime I see it. I think it's gradually suffering from the side effects now...

Oh, I watched King Kong the other day. Not my kind of movie; I didn't like it.

Christmas Eve dinner was spent eating by myself because of work. ;_; Leftovers of the family's roast beef dinner. At least it was yummy ;___;

Christmas day was unbelievable... I was finally able to go to church after 4 months! The only stores that were open were the Chinese stores and it was *packed*. We decided to go to Aberdeen because of a few other things we had to buy there. The main dim sum restaurant was flooded with people, literally. The wait for a table was an hour plus... not surprised... Soo, we made our way to the restaurant just next to it. Its specialty was hotpot but it served dim sum in the morning. The retail stores there were also squirming with crazy shoppers who wanted the discounts the stores had (for Christmas?). Oh did I mention parking was a bitch? Supposedly you'd think there'd be plenty of room in the Aberdeen parking lot (dude, 3 giant floors of parkade!) but it was so bloody packed (not to mention the swarms of HORRIBLE drivers), finding parking was rather difficult as well. We quickly fled as soon as we did everything we had to do there and headed back to Vancouver. We dropped by this lady's place who sold really beautiful handmade jewelry. She would apparently invite a bunch of guests over at a time to show her display of whatever featured or new jewelry up for sale. Some of the things there were pretty amazing. I picked up a pair of earrings myself! Afterwards, we visited my grandma and grandpa's grave to give our salutations. We headed to my relatives' place for dinner that night. Double roast beef! Well at least both chefs cook the meals differently. After the awsome dinner, I met up with Elie, Simon and Mike to watch Memoirs of a Geisha. That place, too, was crowded. We ran a bit late so all the good seats were already taken. We had no choice but to split up. Then I had to sit with the most annoying girl who gawked, "What stupid people come to the movies with their friends and not sit together?" And I was like.. uh, excuse me... is that directed to me bitch? D:< Well of course I didn't say it aloud to her so I just tried to ignore her for there rest of the movie. The movie was pretty good though... it's a shame I didn't read the book beforehand. After the movie, we searched for a place to chill for burbletea. We watched Leo Koo/Ku (sp? ;[) and his fishnet mask and Andy Lau dancing with his creepy garbage bin lids. [/insidejoke]

My highlighted Christmas presents this year... PSP (to myself, from myself), DKNY bag (from mom, chosen by me and her), $100 cash (from grandpa overseas), and Magna Carta (from bro, picked out and UP by myself -_-; but I have no PS2 right now so I can't play anyways..).. Actually, wait, that's my BIRTHDAY gift cuz I told him to get that for me a ways back and it's finally out now so :B... his actual Christmas gift to me, that I requested, isn't available until January 10th, which is Wild Arms 4. I even got my birthday present planned too! Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out in March, isn't that just perfect? :D The timing's awsome~ <3

Hm! I'm trying to get my hands on a Teal/Purple DS but apparently it's been out since November and yet I've never even seen it anywhere since its release. It's a limited edition colour as well, so I think it has already become a rarity anyway. The Seiken Densetsu: Children of Mana screens are making me itch to buy the DS... Oh well, I've still got time before that comes out here. Maybe some other crazier colours will appear...

Work conditions haven't improved since our meeting. I got this bad feeling that it isn't going to go the way we hoped it'd be...

Ugh I just realized I still got so much backlogged stuff to do.

大嶋啓之 feat. 霜月はるか - カナタ
ORBITAL MANEUVER phase 1: geotaxis

Funny how you'd never really pay attention to lyrics sometimes until you actually romanize it.. or in this case, just write it out...

I swear I'm just going through transliterating withdrawal...

I hate dust.

So I tried to put on my screen protector for my PSP but because I suck at putting it on, dust keeps getting trapped in! I'm using tape like a mad woman but still no good. I even tried the shower trick! No good... I'll try again in the morning... outside this time. The bad thing about outside is that you can't see the dust so I wouldn't know if there were any or not! Man this sucks. I'm too much of a perfectionist. Watch me end up buying another one...

So the hotel has shut down. Every night so far's been eerie quiet. Our training was pretty much bull since nothing was exactly taught. More free time but... feel more insecure instead due to the dead silence and darkness creeping in from the windows.

I denied help from Akuram in the beginning of HaruToki2 so I hurt my butt from falling from the dream. Mmm... this game's so amusing. Man, I need a walkthru though. Be nice to the bad guy or not?

Oh yeah, I went boarding the first time this season last Saturday. It... could of been better. Everything was nasty chunky and icy up at Cypress. We ended up splitting into multiple groups due to different needs but we managed to meet up at the end so it was all good. Next trip might be this upcoming Monday but I don't want to rush back to work so I think I'll pass...

My Butter Chicken.. D:

Aw there's finally butter chicken for lunch on the weekend at work (after waiting several weeks) and when I brought it home, the next thing I knew, my parents ate it. D: Geez that's so upsetting.

*sniff* Anyways,
We've been playing Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles after work lately. Feels like it'll be a short game. Ah well that just means we get to play a NEW GAME SOONER! The game is a little too straightforward... where's all the cool hidden secrets n stuff?! C'mon Squenix D:!

Ah, I've gotta start saving money... for sure this time. No more Less insane online shopping and get ready for that new car and school. Booo.

P.S. - My PSP is pun.

More Eventful Than Expected

So you'd think it'd suck to work on Halloween night when you could be out playing with explosives, getting drunk, or raiding houses for candy. Nope, not here! Not when you have a bunch of terrorists attacking our extremely vulnerable tennis bubble! Someone kindly cut open a fairly giant sized (~20inches in diameter to be exact) hole in our indoor tennis wall. Mmm excitement. In the back of my mind, I wish the ceiling came down... that would of been so much more entertaining. Slowly I realized (a lot later) that um, it's kinda dangerous here at work eh. Then I find the newbie security guy trying to unscrew something on the bike we have on display. The hell. Later that night, we get a code 9 (aka. hotel-wide emergency) an hour or two later. Too bad it was a false alarm. :b

Oh, I have to tell you about my most weirdest/eventful day of my life (thus far, that is). This one night, I went to bed early because I had to open the following morning for work. I had trouble sleeping and woke up abruptly at 1AM then fell back asleep. The next time I work up, I got up for work. I got ready and left. Before I left, I noticed my parents' room lights were still on. I was thinking... wow they're either really still awake so late or they forgot to turn off the lights. It was the morning after the end of daylight savings btw. While I was on my way, I looked at my car clock. It said 3:30AM. I was thinking 'Ah, the clock is incorrect.. we'll have to fix it for daylight savings is over.' It didn't dawn on me until I got off the Knight Street bridge and realized that the end of daylight savings means that the clocks are an hour ahead, not behind... and yes definitely not behind 4 hours. So, yes, I woke up 4 hours too early for work. I still didn't believe my car clock at first because I remembered hearing my phone alarm go off. So I checked my phone and the alarm icon was still there... meaning it didn't go off. So apparently, the alarm that went off was only in my dream. Since I was ahem, 4 hours too early for work, I drove back home laughing at myself. I got home and my mom came out and thought I went crazy because I was mumbling at myself for all the clues I saw this morning and yet it didn't hit me.

And it doesn't end there...

I got home... I didn't want to crawl back to bed so I kept myself busy with the computer (of course). Before it was time for work, I had to stop at an episode of Gravion Zwei when a male character (who was male for a season and a half!) is suddenly revealed as a big busty woman when he takes off his mask for the first time. Yes the answer was revealed later in the anime but I didn't watch it then, and I had to leave to work, knowing just that much. Freaked and disturbed I was, I headed off to work.

Finally on the right time this time, I arrived! I vacuumed the pool for a change. Well... I kinda had to too. I didn't mind much and strangely, I actually felt like doing it. I was wide awake then and felt really energized. Yay I was proud of myself. Soon after that energy disappeared though... well I only DID have about 4 hours of sleep. If that was even considered sleep.

Then I fell asleep 3 times throughout my shift. I don't usually fall asleep on the job btw. No one caught me though, because I'd wake up to the noise of their approach.

Then there was the 'retarded' maintenance guy who came, who filled the pool that didn't need filling so it went up a tile too much. He returns to drain that one tile he filled. Wth.

Then Mo^2 shows up really late (coughanhour) and I was hoping to go home early. I don't blame you Mo^2, don't worry about it. Just needed to mention it in my eventful day since it was out of the norm. :b

While driving home from work, I got pulled over by the police! XD Why? He said I can't turn left on Knight and 57th. Wtf! I live in that area and I always need to turn in from Knight street all the time so I know the regulation for when its no-turning on that street (7am-7pm Mondays to Saturdays). And it was a SUNDAY. Well at that time, I figured they changed the turning rules so I had to give in and duh I can't argue with the police. (Btw, I checked the day after, and NOTHING HAS CHANGED so WTF! WHAT WAS HE THINKING?? D:!) But it was an interesting (and frightening) experience.

Later that night when I had dinner with my grandma and family.... I couldn't hold my teacup. It just slipped out of my hand when I picked it up, making a lovely mess. Then it kept trying to slip out of my hand throughout the rest of dinner. It's not like it was wet nor was my hand so... I don't know. Silky skin? :b

Ok I think that's plenty eventful.

Now I'm waiting for some more goodies to come in the mail.

Gloomy Skies...

Well it's been pissing rain lately. Back to our typical Vancouver weather. *crosses fingers for snow*

Our staff meeting on Friday was a shocker. We still got jobs... hahaha... We need someone to call back our little layoff notices though before it's official, we think.

Saturday morning, my family and I went car window shopping. Just a while ago, we finally decided that we needed a new car just in-case any of the current oldies decide to die on us, leaving us all screwed over. The other day, my dad's car became impared for a day, forcing us to work around our one other car, causing inconvenience... which is also why. We went with a few cars in mind.... took a look at a few... sat in a few... It'll be a while before we finally make up our minds though.

There was a hockey game yesterday night. I didn't get to watch it 'cuz I was at a dinner I had to attend on behalf of my parents. It was some political discussion about family values and it was also a fundraiser that soon just sounded like old people ranting. Apparently I've been to one of these before (as soon as I saw/heard their "anthem") and they're indeed long winded just as my mom warned. But we sat with a friendly group of (our) church people so the dinner wasn't so bad. Oh, but as always (expected of Chinatown Floata) the food sucked plenty. I went home feeling sick and gross. I would've thrown it all back up if I didn't dislike the feeling of throwing up so much.

My Fruits Basket #18 came in the mail this morning! So lovely! Now I got reading material for work! And look, it's already time for work too...!

I had Wendy's tonight. So unhealthy. And the fries burnt my tongue. Still hurts...

I finally finished my moblog layout. It's kinda ew. Does she scare you?

I got more love in the mail today. My Japanese version Ragnarok manhwa have arrived! The first three anyways... Now I know friggin why the Tokyopop ones are soo thin compared to these ones! Tokyopop chopped them into multiple books so they could steal more money!! And I didn't know Koreans read from left to right... it's hard to flip the pages on these blooody books. And a strange thing... the "Chaos" in this version is translated as Keiasu (ケイアス) not Keiosu (ケイオス) as you think it'd be spelt as. And the level and stat thing in the Tokyopop version's BS. The ones I have here don't have anything like that at all. Anyways.. enough of that.

I also went and created hell at the bank today. They switched my account and credit card from student to regular withou my consent wtf! So I got charged all these retarded fees all of a sudden... at least I checked my online statement and noticed. They better let me keep my student account (even though I'm not a student atm.. but I WILL BE!) cuz there's no way I'm going to deal with having to switch back and forth every time. That's just no fun.

The meeting at work better not cancel Friday. *shakes fist at the GM*

Money Spendages are BAD

So there was a sale at Pacific Boarder. However, I ended up buying things that were NOT on sale (dammit)... Well I got myself a new jacket, a helmet (not my lt. helmet I wanted but Giro still) and gloves that actually have fingers for a change. I only need new goggles now. Now I'm just afraid that I won't be able to go boarding as often this year because of work. But anyways, I'm proud of my haul... just not the price part of it. The dent was BIG. I couldn't afford to add onto the damage, so I couldn't let myself look at the normal goods.

Thanksgiving dinner. I won't be able to go to our family dinner this year because of work. I'm sooo disappointed~ Thanksgiving dinner's usually one of the best home dinners at my relatives'. Gobble Gobble... :[[

I've been up for 20hrs now... I guess I should go sleep.

Success!

Aaah~ Stress relief is awsome.

I've put that off for days already. I've been setting it aside, figuring out what else to add or change. Next on the list is to update the links page. It's extremely outdated... more than half of the domains (maybe even 2/3?) on the page do not even exist anymore. Bah.. I'm so behind. Seeing all the crazy new domains that look so advanced, it puts my domains to shame I tell you. It doesn't bother me though surprisingly. My pace (daioh~)...

The Harmony interview was interesting. I got the most retarded individual question and I answered it badly too. Go me!

It was my first day to return to the world of Vana'diel today... as an advanced Tarutaru. o__o I was hoping I'd only have to do mindless Beastmaster chopping but they wanted me as Whitemage so I freaked out. There's no fricking way I could be a lvl75 whm and not kill everyone. I never even reached nearly lvl75... hmm I think I ended almost at 60, but that was it. Anyways, I cunningly avoided having to play as whm and managed to wait until my bro to come back. Well, at least I helped him go back to Jeuno, switch jobs, grab his gear and return to the Glacier. *semi-proud of self* I saw so many familiar players... wow they're still playing; so many people have no lives.

Oh, Mo^2 finally lent me HP and the bloody prince -- er, half blood. I started! It's been a while since the previous book... I can't remember some people. D: Like who the hell is Harry Potter? :b

To end off the night: I hate Play-Asia.com with a passion.

Cough Cough Hack Wheeze

Ugh, I'm sick.

We had a new management student come in at work this week. He was a talkative one. He couldn't stop asking about me. Cough. Anyways, he was a really nice guy. He's Korean, oooh~ He leaves this weekend though LOL. Ah well.

I finally went and got my hair cut. I found the lady I used to go to who's shop suddenly disappeared and apparently only moved a few stores away. :b ...well, I didn't know until the other day though. Anyways, I haven't seen them (wife&husband) in ages and they've aged quite a bit but they're still up-to-date with the style.

My bro, still obsessed over FFXI, is making me play FFXI again FOR him when he can't make it for scheduled parties. So yay, I get to play in Dynamis which I never got to try during my FFXI days. I just need to get through the crucial part -- reinstalling it again. Oh hey, Konishi Katsuyuki plays FFXI. Isn't that awsome?!?

I got an opening shift tomorrow. Better go sleep.

PS: ONLINE SHOPPING IS EVIL!

Ello! I'm actually extremely tired right now. I had an opening shift at 6AM, worked 8 hours, then went out all day and came home a while ago. I had trouble sleeping the night before too, rolling around and waking up every other hour, so I had pretty much no sleep. And I dislike waking up so early mainly because it's still dark outside... makes it seem like it's still night.

So today was nice and eventful. In the morning I did my opening. I starved to death until lunch. At lunch, the staff meal was punjabi-themed (again). Mo2 and I describe it as "interesting". I met up with Jo in the afternoon for Starbucks. Then we visited the SPCA to take a look at cute pets we can't afford to own. Then zoomed to Aberdeen and bumped into people there. Afterwards, I went back to work to get Mo2 and was then informed by Justin that AGH THE PACIFIC BOARDER SALE ENDED TODAY FUCKING. So I didn't get to buy any cheap(er) boarding stuff. Boo. We met up with Shi2 at RC and watched Corpse Bride (complementary of Shi2 <3). I was sooo tired I _almost_ FELL ASLEEP. My first time (since I last remembered, which was never) I'd actually feel like falling asleep in a movie but I forced myself awake. No point in watching a movie if you fall asleep right. The movie was pretty interesting and everything was expected.. expectedly good too of course. I had trouble imagining Johnny Depp voicing Victor the male lead though. After the fun movie, we sped to the night market where the swarms of last-of-the-season-night-market-shopping shoppers were raiding. We had our good feed of Night Market food for dinner and then fast walked around. Duuude, they ran out of PRINCO CDs! Some punks found out they are not just any old cds, they're HQ PRINCO and hoarded it all. I'm doomed~~ And I apparently didn't buy jack from the Night Market, as much as I wanted to spend on some cheap last minute junk. Until next year!

Packages of Love

I got my online shopping orders arrive the other day and eehehehe happiness~ I already mentioned my 6kg FFVII box crate box. My credit card apparently maxed out because of all these orders and purchases I made in the past month. I went a paid all of it off while I still could (ouch, it was) so now it's *cough* empty again (for more spending). My two Magna Carta Drama CDs got sent separately and apparently I'm going to be custom taxed on BOTH because play-asia.com sucks. So no more play-asia.com for me. On the other hand, yesasia is love. I'll still occassionally visit Iwase, but only for my Newtype and when I can't wait for specific books to show up on the yesasia catalog.

I've been convinced to buy the "Ceramic White" PSP. Oooh it's so pretty and white~~ It's only available in Japanese right now so I might just order it if I'm really up for it. Then I was reminded that we (my bro+I) are going to Japan next year. From the looks of it, I don't think I'll be able to save enough for the trip (I want to save A LOT! so I can spend A LOT!). If I can somehow stop myself from spending now I might still have a chance but... ooh this is tough. If we do go, I might just buy the white PSP there instead. White PSP! White PSP!

Wow, time flies. Out of time again... busybusybusy.

So like... I'm poor again. Banzai to payday Friday.

PS: I caught up to ep 150 in Inu Yasha... wtf Kikyou.. why aren't you fucking DEAD YET?

PPS: Air Gear Udou Akira reappearance scene in Trick 93 = Teh awsome. XD

So I woke up nice and early today, expecting Mr. UPSman to arrive at my front door with my big box of goodies after being alerted with my online tracking system that it was checking in in to Richmond the night before. And voila he shows up and custom taxes me (*cries*) but then I get my BIG PACKAGE OF GOODNESS CALLED TEH FFVII: AC LIMITED ADVENT PIECES! And is it BIG or what! Everything was displayed so nicely, I barely touched anything XP... I popped open the keychain to reveal my UNIQUE LE NUMBER: #50590! out of 77,777 in the world. Quite cool. I also didn't have the heart to rip open my DVDs until earlier this evening.

So... I've finally watched it myself now. Teehee to all the AerithXCloudness in there.. so good! XD. My love for Reno and Rude has been renewed because they're just so silly awsome. I couldn't stop getting goosebumps throughout the whole movie! The Reminiscence of FFVII Digest movie was pretty cool... it's been 8 years since I finished it so having the game played back to you again was really helpful and also extremely goosebumpy. The deleted scenes from the AC Special CD was pretty interesting... they actually cut out a bunch of scenes they constantly used in the trailers (which isn't a bad thing actually...) and they had the weirdest Reno and Rude moment:

Reno: Auuuh?
Rude: Bilibabo?

The Last Order little bit was nice. The Cherrybell duo! Namikawa Daisuke and Suwabe Junichi was also a good touch to the seiyuu. And Hojo was scary animated. ;[[

Ok enough of AC. At least, until I decide to watch the COMMENTARIES!
*carefully places her DVDs back into her giant box.

My parents went off on a mini vacation this week and will be back Saturday. When I was thinking about them leaving I realized.... nothing changes when they leave. I still gotta go to work, I still go through my daily routine... the only difference is that it's a lot more quiet and darker around here. I actually like it quite much. I don't find it strange at all. It doesn't even seem like they're gone either. o_O

I've been playing more Yogurting lately. I wanna get new seifuku already.

On Tuesday, Sty and I watched The Brother's Grimm at her theatre (freeeeee~) and it was surprisingly good! Afterwards, we tried out the new Earls in the same building as Paramount. The decor's really interesting but the bar side's really loud o_O so we got the dining room side... and yet it was still loud. Anyways, we had more than we could eat (the dessert was already too much) but it was good. The menu's no different than any other Earls, of course though.

So I've got work tomorrow midday and my parcelS are only available after 1pm until 6 tomorrow. Man, I won't make it tomorrow and I'll have to wait ANOTHER day to pick up my packages. Uguuu... The pickup card said the postman arrived at 10, but I WOKE UP AT 10! YOU CAME THE OTHER DAY AT 10:45 so 10's ALREADY EARLY. So yeah, it was disappointing to miss the mailman again today.

I also have a retarded work schedule next week. Hopefully I'll be able to get my next Friday switched to anything but closing (12am) because I gotta open at 6am in the morning the next day. That makes no sense. That's like... less than 5 hours of sleep... My MOM is getting pissy for me when I mentioned it to her... Manager isn't back until Monday... I'm not even working Monday. Mmm... I feel bad making people switch with me though. I already had a co-worker help me out of my upcoming weekend pinch with the same situation (closing @12, open @6).

Anyways, busybusy, sleepysleepy.

*has trouble breathing*

This layout took forever. WHY? *POINTS TO THE STUPID RSS FEED* DD:!! Yes, I thought it'd be COOL to feed my moblog into my new layout but feedburner pre-stylizes the feed (instead it having it nice and plain) making it annoying to ccs stylize it myself. Or maybe I was just retarded... but nonetheless, it was frustrating. D:

Anyways, hi. Welcome to my 19th version. It's not finished yet... I think I'll add a few more things when I get home tonight but I gotta go to work soon so I'll leave it like this for now. I'll blog a better entry tonight (er technically tomorrow morning, is when I get off work :b). Time to get ready...

EDIT 2:01AM: Nevermind, I'm too tired! Maybe tomorrow. :]]

September Begins...

Sooo... the last week of August was pretty crazy. Everyone at work was extremely nice (hahaha yeah you wonder why) and especially the last day, I got treated to (Tim Hortons) breakfast and lunch lol. Then me and my co-worker left with no regrets, just except maybe leaving the new girl out to die by herself. I've yet to go pick up my last juicy paycheque. I kinda don't wanna go back and have to see them again and then they'd blahblahblah and be noisy about what I'm doing now and then try to convince me to go back and help out. Meeh. I gotta go back SOMETIME cuz, DUDE, I STILL GOT MONEY THERE. WHO DOESN'T WANT MONEY! D:! Oh and I gotta pick up my reference letter from the old branch too... diu so much confrontation required.

Thenn... I jump started into my new job the day after I finally quit the other. Quite a strange change of pace. It's been a week since and I think I've gotten the hang of it. It's sometimes annoying to only have one person working at a time because it doesn't really allow you to step away from the desk... ever. Well you CAN but while you're away you'd be thinking "Ahh crap I better be quick cuz what if someone's waiting there??!" And yes, it happened again today. People standing around waiting for my return. Sooorry I was having hell with the outside pool cleaning because APPARENTLY the bloody STORM from yesterday dirtied the whole damn place. The people tonight sucked. No more to say about that.

Fish's birthday. Funny... I was out with him the other day and I was discussing how I'd go to his dinner FOR SURE and suddenly it turns out Monica's injured ankle is more serious than we all thought so she's now on 'sick leave' making me close Saturday instead. Haha he forgives me... but I told him we'd [Elie can't make it either] make it up to him another time.

SO I've (relatively) recently gotten addicted to online shopping (from online shops this time) and I ordered a bunch of stuff aaaand I'm waiting patiently for their arrival. Since I haven't shopped from them before, I'll decide whether to continue my shopping exhibition after receiving my first batch of goodies. Customs が無ければいいね~ And yar, if successful, I'm going to start a little online shopping BLOG! AND BLOG ABOUT ALL THE FRIGGIN MONEY I WASTE!

Speaking of updates and such.. I've been UPDATING MY FRIGGIN SITES TOO. I've suddenly become inspired again to update and make new layouts. Inspired doesn't mean I'll do it all. Just a little motivation's making me make changes here and there. I've recently finished my AIR GEAR FL and then I updated all my fanlistings. Fun stuff~ Btw, I dunno what inspired me either. Meh.

Anyways, parents are waking me up for some good ol' dim sum tomorrow before work yayness. Better sleeeeep.

あっと言う間だったわよねぇ///

September approaches quickly. Time is flying like there's no tomorrow. No, I'm in no ruch actually.. just thought I'd go through with my 'plan' by now. Plan's still not completely worked out yet. It's getting rather frustrating...

So the last week (with half a week left) of work was pretty good, surprisingly. The highlight was our manager being called a penguin (cuz of the way he looks, his beer belly and the way he walks). It was used to identify him when a trucker came to find him. The trucker told our penguin manager to his face and we ended up rolling on the floor laughing for ages (me, post-front desk lady and neighbouring co-worker who thought of the description and told us).

The company managed to find a replacement (wow) for us who was actually a friend of some kid and that kid's dad works in our building. She's... touchy. A bit TOO touchy. To the point of overboard *COUGH*. Either too flirty, too friendly, too gay.. I don't know.. I haven't had the time to ask my post-front desk lady about it. It was already awkward enough for her to ask me so many personal questions on our first conversation and next she starts getting all touchy and feely and agh, too much detail from me. Let's just keep it at that. She has to like fricking touch me when she leans over my shoulder or when she comes to ask me something or give me something.. STOP TOUCHING ME. DUDE YOUR OLD AND A BLOODY WOMAN FOR GOODNESS SAKE. AND I'VE ONLY MET YOU TWICE. DON'T COME NEAR ME LIKE YOU KNOW ME. ANYWAYS! I think the company's going to have hell with her. Her english and mannerism is.. lacking.. majorly. *SIgh* Mainland China lady. Did I mention she's loud? Wow, check out that obnoxious screaming in Mandarin from my side of the room to the other. Yikes. But anyways, good luck to her. She's only getting barely a week and a half's worth of training from the both of us. She'll need to know everything in.. oh, three more days.

I haven't agreed to help them out on the weekends to do some data entry and whatever miscellaneous shiet they'd make me do (especially the pinguin manager faggot) yet but it's still under consideration. Some extra money's nice but sometimes I wonder if they even deserve my help... knowing I detest the company itself for its management and really bad work ethics. I don't knows yet. I think I might try a day or two first.

I _finally_ went by Iwase the other day. I picked up my delayed issues of Newtype and a copy of Ouran Host-bu 6 for some reading at my new work. The Newtype KiraxLacus shijitaki's really nice eh. I didn't see the other manga I wanted so I just ordered them online. I might as well try out an online shop I haven't bought from before. Let's see just how reliable they are. If the first one's a success... I'll be getting all of my manga goodies from these guys.

Sty and I went to Half Moon the other day to finally check out the place. Whoa. Gheeeetto. The place reeks of old books LOL. Anyways, super cramped in there but lots of old books, magazines and manga you probably won't find anywhere else anymore due to its oldness. I'd order from them (loads cheapter than Iwase) but their place is so out of the way. Unfortunately the both of us didn't find anything good (may be a fortunate thing too -- to not spend) but we spend the rest of our evening at good ol' Oakridge and duuude I bumped into crazy IB Jon. He's so DIFFERENT from BEFORE it's WEIRD.

First day "training" at my new job and I get to meet a guy who's Last day of work. I had a quick run down, followed the manager everywhere, and almost got nothing into my brain. After she left, I sat around bored for a few hours watching the last day of worker slack. Hahaa..

Saturday. Lunch with grandma & auntie. My Aunt got surgery on her eyes cuz the eyelids started drooping over he eyes and now her eyes are all strangely bloody and puffy. It's strange how sudden it all happened... Afterwards, my bro n I followed my Aunt to Richmond Market to grab some drinks, food and 'shop'. It's always nice to talk with her.

Second day of REAL training followed that evening. Moni was my trainer yay! Still too much to learn... my brain's gunna explode. I only got two nights (one night left) of practice with someone else before I have to do it SOLO. Gah, so worried.. so worried.

Ok sleep.

Weekendism & some

Hello! There's so much to talk about.. :3

AnimeEvolution = teh suck.
After AX, I think all cons'll suck. Can't help but compare with AX but AE was the ultimate suck. Yeahyeah, it's small but even if it's small, it doesn't mean it should be BORING!

AE Friday:
Duuude, I skipped out work for this day. I was "sick". Sty and I woke up bright and early (met up at 8AM to be exact), had McDix and went on our way. Got there, regged and went straight to the exhibitor's hall which apparently already had a line-up. So we sit for about mm.. 3 1/2 hours (we were 3 hours early :3) and it was only a 1/2 behind schedule. The merchandise... was rather disappointing. There was NOTHING but Inu Yasha, Bleach, GSD and Naruto... really. So I left empty handed that day but Sty spotted a nice FFS manga set. Yes, it was frustrating to leave spending absolutely nothing... despite being one of the earlier ones that had access to the exhibitor's room (meaning there should be GOOD STUFF early but no, not in this case). Um, we left right afterwards. I followed Sty DT to her workplace and she treated me to another movie [War of the Worlds!] and it sucked LOL. I personally thought it was retarded. Yes, it got your heart racing a few times but that was it. Everything was kinda dumb. o__o;; After movie, we went to White Spot for some late night food and drinks. Belinininininini...

AE Saturday:
We woke up early (sorta) again and had A&W breakfast this time. Got there and headed for the exhibitor's hall again. We were a bit late but the line-up wasn't long anyways (at least nothing compared to the AX lineups that spanned through multiple hallways and rooms and didn't require 3-4 hours prior arrival with possible 2+ more hours of delay and wait Lol. Anyways, I was trying to be hopeful by going again Saturday hoping there'd be some new stuff but I WAS WRONG! Everything was the damn same! Once again I had nothing to buy... so I last minutely grabbed a CLAMP no Kiseki package (vol.2) for relatively cheap and now I gotta go and collect the whole damn chess set. Woohoo. I still felt empty. :b After the quick exhibitor's hall visit, we went and took a nap outside for a few hours. Then we went to catch the Panda-Z Animation that was some nice very random 5-minute episodes. The opening by JAM Project is amusing, like all of their other typical stereotype superhero-feel songs. After that we fled from the area. The end of AE 2005.

That night I met up with Jo and Simon for sushi and night market. All you can eat is killer. Fukuroku and Iron Chef = Good times. Night Market was the same as always. I got myself the Gundam Seed Destiny chibi gashapon (that I wanted to get at AE but I decided too long and it disappeared...) set while Simon got the first season set. I think I would've prefered the first season set better. Anyways, now they sit on my printer. Check back in a month for its first fresh layer of dust.

Sunday. Wow I felt like a BUM! I didn't feel like going anywhere or doing anything. I was just extremely tired and slept so bloody much after coming home from church.

Yesterday. Good news for the Fish and his new job! Pretty awsome stuff. :DD Now he doesn't have to go back to HK~ More good news: my MobileMate is FREAKING AVAILABLE for a change. I gotta go pick it up asap. It's rather inconvenient to go pick up all the way at Broadway though. Ooh, I seriously need to visit Iwase (I think I'll do that tomorrow) for the delayed stuff from like last last month... they better have it by now! I got my new balance paycheque! The raise wasn't as I thought it would be (they tricked me!) but anyways.. a raise is a raise. Apparently they really want me to stay really badly.... the boss and I had a conversation and he offered to let me work whenever I'm available to help them do some data entry ( only data entry = ok; data entry+phone calls+front desk = no good). I think I'll keep them on the side for some extra cha-ching. The boss thinks highly of me (wow, that I did not know) and so does everyone else in the other divisions... all the nice comments will just go to my head and inflate my ego. It ALMOST made my stay. But *shakes head* oh no, I won't get tricked! O_O!!

Today! The post-front desk lady submitted her resignation letter today! LOL! This company is SCREWED! No data entry/custom service/freight cashiers available for this side by the end of the month! They'll probably grab somebody from my original branch though. But still, this company already lacked/lacks manpower but with less of us, they'll be in a major PINCHI! This side's manager's such a henachoko wuss. He says he's done so many things and yet he didn't do any of it at all. Instead he just whispers under his breath saying he remembers he did it and stares at the computer as if he's thinking and examining the problem when he's obviously NOT. I think I mentioned this already... but everyone in this side of the company thinks he's a total wuss too. No wonder my original manager says he gets picked on.. hell yeah he does. Even *I* pick on him! Just today he said he e-mailed one of the clients to request for some information, and obviously he didn't because he didn't get back to me. So I constantly bugged him all day for it and he just did he whisper-under-his-breath thing and stared at the computer. I offered to help him e-mail the client instead but he's like nooo I did it already and then he stares some more. Ahh what the hell. I'll remember to bug him about it tomorrow. Not to mention he waives one too many outstanding charges... no wonder this company's poor and shit. One of the clients that came by today even spoke with me about this company's reputation and wtf are they actually doing considering the crappy jobs they do. *shakes head* This is nothing to be proud of. And I'm glad I'm not going to be representing them any longer.

Training for my other job starts at the end of this week. I don't know what to expect. Mo^2 says the manager's just overexaggerating. I hope she's right... I'm not even sure if I know what the attire is. I asked her again about it and I THINK she said she gives us uniforms but... *shrugs* does that include pants cuz she also mentioned that she was wearing shorts... and Mo^2 wearing capri's and ahhh... I can't ask Mo^2 either since she's off having fun right now in Victoria. Awwwww... I hope I don't mess up. >_> The manager also said some other higher up manager wants to meet me too... eep. Am I supposed to dress nice or not on my first day then?! So confused on what to do. Wing, wing, wing it I say.

A thanks to Amy for letting me use her laptop to access my memory card. Yay for phonebook recovery and pretty ringtones! And I'm having fun wasting money on e-mails on my phone... moblog is active but not public yeeet. Hopefully I'll get to a layout sometime before I release it. Yay exciting but no time!

*typing resignation letter while listening to m-flo*

I managed to get a guy from HoFo to help me out with fixing the WAP on my phone. He hooked me up with a 902 fixer guy so I'm helping him make his m-flo CD by sending him songs heh. I can't wait to waste precious money on bandwidth charges lol.

So I've finally decided to scrap my current job and jump to the one Monica introduced me to. Today was the last straw, seriously. First there was the manager from my old branch that called in the morning and started getting all pissy about a problem that didn't concern him. Not to mention, he's been giving me BS excuses lately for me to do things out of the blue that I had no experience with. With no expanation he leaves me up to ME to deal with. Hey? I wouldn't mind doing it for you, just assist me or give me some sort of instruction of any kind instead of just throwing it at me? The manager from this branch... he's a wuss. Then there's the lady who I took her front desk seat from... is amazing slow, likes to swear, makes ONE TOO MANY MISTAKES that she stares at and goes "I don't remember!" and I'm like WTF THAT'S YOUR WRITING DUH THAT'S YOU? DDD:?!?! She's causing more trouble than it's worth s'all I'm trying to say. I don't enjoy having to follow up on these mistakes and having angry customers barking at me. I also don't enjoy watching her not knowing what priorities are. Yea, it just seems like I like finding as many reasons as I can to hate this place so I don't have to regret leaving.

BUT there are things I'm going to miss... even though the trucker guys that come by to pick up freight are all old dads and grampas, they're all really friendly and cool. Hmm, that looks like the only thing I'm going to miss LOL because I can't think of anything else.

That reminds me.. there's no DECENT PLACE TO EAT. There's a lunch room here which is nice BUT there'd always be people sitting around SMOKING IN THERE (e.g. THE FACKING BOSS) or the people eating there or people who just so happen to be there (e.g. THE FACKING BOSS AGAIN) would pester you. So I'd have to eat in the FIRST AID ROOM which also reeks of smoke but there's SOME solitude... People still come in and bug you though.. :T And you get stared at by people who walk by. Psh all of you!

*yawn* I will rant later. Work tires me out. I come home and nap and be able to sleep plenty at night... And actually feel sleepy too! That's how fricking exhausting it is.

Anyways, tomorrow's busybusy.

Plan plan plan.

Summer Conf. this year was pretty good. We were at the same spot as last year, Summit College on a mini mountain in Abbotsford. New faces, old faces, missing faces... The drive there [and back] was devistating. My dad's car didn't have A/C so we got a mighty beating from the sun and the heat during the ~1+ hr ride. Interesting group skits, amusing games ('cept the outdoor ones which felt rather pointless), a dance off (very fun to do and watch), an extremely GOOD [returning] speaker.... the food was not so great though. Ah well, as long as it filled out stomaches and didn't cause painful stomachaches it's all good. A everyone was either younger or older than me [which was kinda weird]... The same aged people couldn't make it.. ;; I brought KH:CoM with me, so I played that every so often. I managed to clear a level during the whole trip. I managed to not overpack this time either... instead I underpacked and forgot stuff instead. I, like everyone else, got very little sleep so I came back feeling a bit more tired than usual. Everyone was surprisingly high... without the help of any drugs and liquor. :b

Work was busy today. Apparently... the other front desk lady (which isn't front desk anymore actually since I kinda.. uh, replaced her) seems to be always in the air. It's getting rather frustrating to communicate with her since she either isn't understanding what I'm saying or she doesn't bother actually listening to what is being said. I want her position again (aka. my old position) because front desk is too hectic and busy. I need my surf time! You've got like other people and their desks facing you so they see everything you do! So duh you can't surf. :b Well you can, but it's uncomfortable knowing there's someone who might be watching... :3 Only the accountant lady's computer has Japanese encoding installed too so I can read my daily dose of Moon Phase. Everywhere else is no good. D: I guess I won't get the chance anymore... Okay bad to talk about slack time. Anyways, the manager from my old branch is apparently has high hopes on me (and expects me to stick around longer) since he suddenly phoned me from the other side and started giving me a 'be the pillar of support, Echizen' speech. Surprisingly he told me that they plan on merging the two branches into one now. They ARE separate companies but they share and exchange many things internally which is why I think they find it too confusing and badly organized (yes duh). He also gives me a raise right before he starts giving me his speech. Yes, more ways to keep me around huh.
"Because we pay you more, you must stay." Ya. I'd prefer benefits over more money though. Benefits are so much more useful. So no matter what, it doesn't appeal to me the same way and it still makes me wanna keep looking for another job. And yes, I still am. Casually.. whenever I come across job postings, etc.

My original plan was to leave at the end of this month but after coming back from summer conf., thinking about school again, I did some research and figured I'd be ready by next year. But for the time being, I have nothing to do before then so I suppose I'd stick around. I'd like to try and do something more productive and something helpful for my upcoming school year. My typical parents obvious don't approve of my idea knowing I'll just put it off when the time comes again... Prove them wrong? I always say I will.. but I chicken out all the time. Maybe that'll change this time. I totally need some better motivation. But yes that's a teeny weeny part of my 'plan'. Another thing includes my website. Duuuude, I want to update so bad. But I _FEEL_ so busy everyday, even though I'm not really not busy at all, but it prevents me from wanting to start a new layout since it IS time consuming and who knows.. maybe my skills suck now for not making anything for... a few months plus. Knowing I don't have time to make layouts and keep mantaining everything, I applied for another fanlisting. I'm retarded. But well, fanlistings are addictive so...

Well I received depressing news a while ago: Mike is leaving all of a SUDDEN. Gee, talk about last-minute. Then he argues I've been avoiding going out.. which is sadly kinda true. It sure doesn't feel like I haven't been out. I sure don't miss anyone o_O It doesn't seem like I haven't seen anyone in a while either. Time just flies so fast when you're full time. I didn't even realize... I feel really bad.

Old news [now] but apparently Sou-niisama's closing down his BBS because he doesn't have the time to maintain it anymore since his schedule's getting busier and busier. Everyone, including me, on the BBS' upset... It IS upsetting... the most awsome hangout spot is going to close down. Aaghh now I know how it feels like when message boards close down. I'll never close down The World BBS and Platinum Boards! (that is until this feeling wears off right :b *runs away not keeping her word*)

[note to self - more 'to do' stuff]
- get my online banking working already
- get my moblog working already too dammit
- put my EI on hold
- hurry up and figure out the rest of the 'plan'

Hrm. Mini-Work Rant/Random.

Domain Renewed. Booyah.

Fireworks Wednesday with China! Pretty but boring China! Yay to smiley faces. I wonder if they even attempted to syncronize their shiny explosives with their music...

Yay I got my KH: CoM back from Mo^2~ I get to finish it now :33

Um, Starbucks MMCF is good.

Work's been weird. The manager guy at this branch all of a sudden told the main front desk lady that I replace her for a day (or more :X). Mmm, where's my long delayed raise after probation assholes?! Sometimes I really detest working with Chinese people... they don't tell you what they plan on doing or why they do it. They don't give a reason why and they just order you to do it. I bet the front desk lady feels bad. :[[ I don't want to replace her... she's cool. D: She's like the only person I'm able to [almost] speak [all of] my mind to. Yes, I rant a lot about work with her and she rants right back. It's lovely and harmonious (sp?).

I feel permanent work location transferrage so far. They haven't exactly told me yet *coughchinesepeople NEVERtellyou anythingcough*... unless I go up and ask. And even when I do, they're all umms and uhhs and give an uncertain answer that I end up feeling confused still. Aaanways, enough putting down my own race... that reminds me, I spotted a cool ad in the paper.. better try applying. I need to ditch and I need to ditch fast.

Wow, it feels like it wasn't long ago since I last said that LOL. Damn, I'm such a job hopper.

I noticed everyone (lots of people) will get to take Japanese in the upcoming semester. Man I feel jealous. ;[[ I want Japanese tooooo~~ Uguuu... *shakes fist*

Not to mention... I wanna make a new layout.. or two. Or three... four... more. five... six..ty.. *needs better time management*

[for my own reference - soon to buy list]
- Air Gear 11
- Hot Gimmick 11
- Radiata Stories (sept)
- Host-bu 6
- Bushi Lord 1
- KH 2 (Q4)
- Magna Carta (Q4)
- Romancing SaGa (sept smthn')
- Sengoku Basara (Devil Kings / when? o_o)

I can't wait to feel rich again [which unfortunately won't be anytime soon] and blow all of it.

And Online Shopping is EVIL.
I'm going to get custom taxed like a bitch.

Reminds me of a mangaka that wrote about how he was addicted to online shopping instead of focusing on his manga [in one of his tanks]. Heh--SEE IT'S EVIL!!!

Ok, gone for the weekend. BBL.

Deal = NO GOOD!

The container hauler guys didn't like the deal that was put forth... MORE STRIKING ENSUES!

Soo... I had a fun week at work at the other branch. I like this side a lot more because it's cleaner, more spacious, washroom is more easier to access, brighter, and the list goes on... BUT I don't have my own computer, this branch location's too far [getting to and from work sucks], the annoying guys from the other divisions keep comin' in to bother us... mmm... I've been told to work there Tuesday so far [and probably the rest of this week as well...] or at least until the strike's over.

The strike should end because I need my monthly/weekly dose of manga and magazines.

The strike should not end because work will be busy like mad again... madder, even.

Oh I'm so horrible... all the businesses are suffering because of this silly strike.

So our accountant (from my original branch) apparently QUIT. Aww man, gives me less of a reason to stick around... she's like the only other around my age. Old geezers bakka... She quit while I got transferred (temp) to this location. Boo... And upon arriving, I also found out that Cathy, an elementary school friend that worked at this branch, ALSO quit only a WEEK AGO TOO (right before I transferred in). Gah!

Anyways! Fireworks!

Wednesday and Canada. Not bad... I wasn't paying full attention though.. I was too lost and lonely to care XD! Then I mad flashed everyone with my led light afterwards.

Saturday and Sweden. The clouds were so interesting that day. Sty and I made collab artworks. We rock. :o The show started good and then ended meh. Weird mixxxage.

Oh... Friday: Had dinner with some elementary school friends, Phyllis Andy Cindy Amy... We went our separate ways right after. It was quick. o_o; Night marketed afterwards though... Iwase's not there anymore (aww I wanted to check it out). A number of useless junk tempted me. RESISTED RRRRrrgrg--!

I'm still quite poor right now... I gotta renew my domain soon too.

Urraaa!

I made myself a reminder that HOT GIMMICK #11 COMES OUT TODAY! Weird. :D

Anyways.. now I'm FORCED TO WORK! I think they want me to continue working in-case I suddenly find another job and run away from them. Which is true, cuz it's gunna _SO_ HAPPEN! I got to work today and it was empty... apparently the majority of the people there are not very punctual. A lot of water drinking and washrooming. Didn't do much but did a few data entry tasks for a few containers... Then I had to greet the BOSS FJIEWOFJEIWOFE! It was awkard knowing that THAT guy just laid my ass off and suddenly stopped the money flowing without any notice whatsoever until like fricking DAYS later. Anyways he wants me to stay now. He's making me waste my time sitting around doing nothing in a very very air conditioned room. At least he agreed to pay me. NO MONEY? NO WORK! BBQ? NOPLZKTHX!

So I had to use this guy's computer/desk... and apparently he doesn't use the numpad at all. My job requires lots of number typing... so after typing tasks, I'd have charcoal fingers.. then I'd go and wash up. At least this washroom is decent... it actually has stalls (two actually), doesn't require a damn KEY, doesn't require long hikes and it has a paper towel dispenser that actually WORKS! Wow. That's probably all I like about the place though. The guy's computer desk is fecking uncomfortable -- oversized chair [for the big guy], awkwardly spaced monitor distance, the pull out keyboard is so damn LOW and the chair's so damn HIGH. I'm not heavy enough to push down the springs D: Bah!

I made a rather funny mistake today though... So the guy asks "So is everything alright with you so far?" (as in, getting used to everything) and I answered "Yeah, I've got nothing to do.... yet.[d'oh]" Too late, wrong answer. :D I should've been Yes, everything is fine dododo *pretend to be busy*. At least I can make conversation with the other lady and apparently she's not too happy with her job either. :X Ah well, stepping stones stepping stones.

The same guy (maybe call him Mr. Big Chair) I think realized my uneasyness when I went and called up my original branch manager about my current employment status. He was sorta stoned and dumbfounded on the phone so I think he went and contacted the boss (eep) and then Mr. Big Chair guy again. Mr. Big Chair guy then gave me an employment record sheet to fill out. And when he told me to fill it out, he came up close and said it really softly. Creepy, it was. Maybe he felt my pain of NOT BEING PAID. "Don't cry little girl! Here, here... we'll give you money!"

Mm... I look forward to another day of nothing work.

UTAWARERUMONO'S BECOMING AN ANIME!

No details yet but wheeeeeeeee~

That's as awsome as hearing Black Cat, To Heart 2, Demonbane, and Fate/Stay Night being animated!!

I say they should animate Muv Luv next. And maybe Hot Gimmick. AIR GEAR might be interesting too. Having Agito screaming, "ファック!ファッキングカラス!" XD It would be amusing to no end.

... What The!

A sudden change of events...

A what was thought to be another BBQ day at the boss' house ended up being sent back to the office for "helping out" (knowing there is absolutely nothing to do) so I knew there was something up. When I got there, the first thing I was presented was my ROE and was told the boss stopped PAYING US SINCE LAST FRIDAY! Then following was whatever's left of what they haven't paid me yet and told me to apply for EI. Mmm okay. What I didn't understand (at first) was why everyone was still so diligently working even after they just got um.. well.. disowned unemployed. And the it clicked! Everyone wants to keep their job I see... *coughunlikemecough* Eeek, now's my chance to run!

Someone should've told me! It's as if I'm supposed to know.. if that was the case then, I had no reason to join his puny little BBQs and waste perfectly good days sitting around doing NOTHING and being anti-social. But the thing was... I was "requested" by the boss to be there. Why, what! Why!! My parents say maybe he invited so I'd be soo bored out of my mind, I'll quit myself eventually.

Nonetheless, even though I'm unemployed right now... they apparently want me to -work- at their other branch Monday (and probably for the rest of the week) so I popped the question asap about my cha-ching and they were like.... "Yeah you'll get paid, but by what means, I would not know". So wtffff! I got a bad feeling about all of this... either get paid too little or it'll take them forever for them to pay up. Fack, gimmie my monies!!!!! I'm here to work not to screw around!

Did I mention they also took away free lunch privilages?

Hmph, I'm off to go watch The Island for free now. Bubye. :[[

Aww and we're having BBQ at home tonight... damn.

Hahaha.. someone buy me this:
http://googlestore.com/product.asp?catid=5&code=GO0125

It's so geeky and cool. XD

Anyways... I bumped into Phyllis and Andy Mak at Oakridge today. They haven't changed one bit. :D We planned an outing sometime next week. Whee~

So at "work" (aka. the boss' house) today... I got paid being bored out of my mind. And drink tea. I don't know what's better or worse: being bored at the office where it's dirty but with internet or clean and comfy but BORED as HELL at the boss' house sitting there doing absolutely nothing. Yes I have a thing for cleanliness. To most, the first option would be preferred but to me... they're both equal. A co-worker of mine feels my pain and is glad he isn't in my shoes (he gets to do the fun yard work and occasionally gets to unload a container or two). Sure I can help with the yard work.. IF I WANTED TO. But I don't want to so :b... I'd bring somethere there to do but to not be that bloody obvious I'm 'entertaining' myself, gameboys and the related are out of the question. I finished everything there is to read that I've yet to read: finished Kill Me Kiss Me, caught up to Ouran Koukou Host Bu and Air Gear... there's really nothing left. I like what I read; I read it fast... that's why there's nothing left. What else is there to do... I think I've been appointed the official BBQer now for tomorrow. Fun. I heard we'll have to go to his house _everyday_ until the strike's over. Goodness, someone... something.... save me. I wish the strike's over... or not. If the strike's over, we'll be flooded with 3-weeks worth of work. The longer they strike, the more work it'll be... but getting paid to do NOTHING right now. But... that's so... D: Nooo, I don't wanna face reality! *runs away from it all*

Returning to Work...

I got paid to have BBQ at my boss' place. Hahaha... really, I'm serious.

It was strange that I got a call from my manager yesterday to go to work the next day... especially when there hasn't been any news about the truckers' strike ending anytime soon. So I got to work and I noticed and recognized a lot of cars that belonged to the on-call workers. Okay, I thought, maybe we're all just standing by because somehow we found out that the strike'll end very soon... so soon it could be anytime now. I get to my seat and no one tells me anything... I turn on the computer as usual... Soon, even MORE co-workers start showing up. About 45 mins into the day (@8:45AM), the manager comes down and tells me to follow everyone to the boss' house cuz he has some sort of 'meeting' and then meet up at the other branch. He also mentions that we were able to find some other independent company willing to grab some containers for us from the port to the other branch, so yay good news. So then I figured oh they must've called me in to help out on the other side. Everyone car-pools and gets to his house and then we start SITTING AROUND in his garden. Then the boss starts talking about how he plans on cleaning up his garden. Soon enough our warehouse workers officially become professional gardeners in a day. So we got swarms of warehouse guys hacking at the trees he wants to cut down. I, being office lady, just stare and watch the whole time. They soon find a beehive. It must be removed, yes. So someone starts a fire and begins the beehive extermination. It was rather quick and relatively painless but very amusing. More people start showing up and the uh oh, approaching lunch time. The boss gets me to follow him to shop for FOOD. ME ALONE WITH THE BOSS JFEIWOFJEWFWEOK! No details, but it took a lot of time. When we got back it was already approaching 2PM. Someone took up the grill and started cooking... not the best choice for the chef, but ah well. Everything was rather prematurely cooked. Then I got paid reading Kill Me, Kiss Me tank #5 (yay finished the series~) in his comfy living room. I love Jung-Woo... but I realize the story warped so much.. it's not even about the same people anymore (except Jung-Woo but he wasn't the main char >_>;;). The weird translation was... well.. weird. Not to mention they cut a lot of corners, literally. There would be incomplete faces and bubbles on every other page... it's just annoying. Anyways, returning to the day's events... I got driven back afterwards and went home. The end. :D Tomorrow: Repeat.

My paycheque is going to suck. A week + a day of no work because of the trip and then.. *counts* only 2 working days in total. Ha..hahaha... damn. Let's hope that won't be the case and that I have a counting problem instead.

Oh, btw I'm loving my phooooone~ The Fido-Rogers integration gave me a heart attack, almost. I thought my sexy phone was deemed glitchy because I couldn't call or receive. *shakes fist*

I need to give my blog -- er my whole website -- a makeover and then some. I feel creative and wanna do something yet I feel lazy at the same time.

Wow my computer desk is a mess.

We (my bro and I) are going to reserve the whopping $300USD FFVII: AC Ultimate Collection. Huuah~ We're definitely going to get it but we're still waiting on the North America SquEnix marketing side... impress us you smelly North Americaners! It's never that impressive but still.. :D Still got time, still got time.

Oh, we (parents + me) visited the Queensberg (is that the name of the area? I can't quite remember) new "outlet"-like mall (where the Walmart is). And I kinda went on a little shoppings spree at the Tommy Outlet store XD... weeeell, since I currently have an _especially_ _special_ _liking_ in polo shirts and their current style theme are POLO SHIRTS... I WENT MAD AND TRIED EVERYTHING O__O! And there was a sale on top of the sale items so woohoo! *will visit again, nodnods*

Mo^2, Shi^2 and Can^2 went to watch March of the Penguins. It reminded me of a cartoon movie I watched when I was young that was similiar though it wasn't in a documentary format. Unfortunately Mo^ and Shi^2 had no idea what I was blabbing about. Oakridge BBT is now deemed too sweet. I think I've unofficially fallen in love with the BBT store on Victoria (the one with PASSIONFRUITJELLY!!!).

Back to.. Normal?

Right when I come back from my trip that night, I get a msg from Tony Kiki about Tony C's birthday party the next day. Uguuu, no money and yet I have to go spend some more... Anyways, it was a beach BBQ where there was a lot of charcoal confusion, demands for food and everyone just acting their strange selves.

And no, everything's not back to normal yet. The strike's still (luckily?) in effect and so work's boring as hell. Just today, one of the warehouses nearby caught on fire early in the morning and burned for hours. Apparently there's some sort of ammonia-like chemicals inside the warehouse and now the whole area's gunna be blocked off. We were informed by a police lady sometime around 3 about the situation, so we were told to leave early (in-case it blows up, yeah). I visited my beloved bookstore after work to realize that D'oh, truckers strike, no new Newtype. Instead I went to cancel some of my orders that I already got at AX. Mmmm they weren't really happy with cancelling and were all like "We normally don't allow you to cancel D:" and I'm like ";_; I normally don't cancel (cuz I'm loyal to you guys ;___;).. I'm so sorry ;__;" but yeah.. unhappy they were. They might remember me from now on as the gaijin that cancels orders. So when I was driving home from the bookstore, something fell in through the window (big, brown, spikey maybe, ball-like?) hit me on the head and rolled down somewhere. It disappeared somewhere... I thought it was a friggin bug at first... but even now I still dunno what it is.

So yeah, Sty's version of the CCS Crew group picture. XD I started a trend.

No time... So close... kinda unbelievable....

Onto some even crazier news... MIKE GRADUATES! Thurs, the convocation: Mmm.. lots of yummy sleep (yay for requesting the day off!)... When picking up some others, I had to look away from a guy who had to change in the middle of the street *coughericcough*. But after I was offered french fries, so it's all good~ When we got there (like an hour before it were to start) I was left alone (for a half n hour :[[ ) to save seats. They join up with me afterwards and after putting in all the hard work to save the seats, we MOVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION! The other crews eventually make their way and luckily there was still enough room for all of us. Simon and I went downstairs to the front to take pictures and a movie. Simon's camera died while waiting for him to show up so he only managed to take one picture. And my video ended up turning into a horror movie. After the convocation, there was reception aka. Raid the Food. Not knowing what to do, we ended up back at Mike's place and loitered. Loitered we did, and loitered we did well while figuring out where to eat as well and ended up going to Earl's. After food, we returned back to the Mike base and did more fun loitering for the rest of the night...

Friday. Elie and I treated Mike to food @ The Keg. And as always, the food was exceptionally awsomely good. After filling ourselves with awsomely good food, we went back to Elie's place to pick up Elie's new 妹ちゃん~, Kaoru! Oooh she's soo adorable when she calls Elie "Onee-chan"! うらやましいなぁ~ We also somehow dragged Tino out with us too! He's a BIG BOY NOW! First we had bbt at Oasis, which was strangely quiet for a Friday night. After some hesitation, we went to E-Spot for some good ol' arcade. Time well spent. We ended it off with our favourite Photo Huntage. Aww, she's so cute.. but she was soo unwilling to try out the games! Next time.. NEXT TIME!

Saturday. All you can chew: SUSHI @ Richmond Sushiness w/ Mo^2 & Shi^2. We got attacked by Mr. Scared-of-Fire-And-Violence. I think we did a better job this time (better than last time, that is). Then we loitered outside the building for quite a bit before we decided we needed LIQUID so we went to I-Never-Know-The-Name-Of-The-Place BBT Cafe at that Venisumemfeifjwofj (SP) Plaza on Alexander. My drink was a little heavy on the tea and weak on the fruit this time. Did I mention we were also high? I don't know what we were on...

Sunday. I (sorta) marathoned the first half of Basilisk today and yesterday. Kekeke, it's so awsome XD... I love you Yashamaru! He's so awsome XDDDDD Now it's just too bad you... and yeah. :[[ Yay for Mizuki Nana and Toriumi Kousuke! Fufufu and guess what.. Yashamaru's seiyuu [Yanagi Naoki] is Mythos from Princess Tutu lol, score! Who woulda knew! Not that I knew much about that seiyuu in the first place but... that's not the point! Yashamaru's awsome and that's all that matters! No point! I'm so confused!

Sigh. ため息。

Yeah, so like.. no phone now.
Long story short... the deal didn't work out. Man, after waiting like... half a month to find news that the guy CAN'T get it (he probably sold it off locally DD;)... Ah well, I shall wait patiently for my next chance at it. I'm determined to stick with my light blue now.

Duude, I saw some guy today with a Vodaphone. Urgaaa, left me feeling depressed after see him with it. I also saw an orange mazda that reminded me of the orange phone I wanted.. LOL! Everything reminds me of it, I swear. Yes, I'm just _that_ desperate for it now.

Man... I've received news that Hot Gimmick is ENDING. Gasp! That must mean there's only one book left... WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN コンチクショー!

Getting older sucks. Time flies so fast... you don't have time to do stuff you used to always do. Yeahh, I was just thinking of some new site ideas and old site renovations but nowadays I don't think I have the time. -_-; Always have to sleep early.. or sometimes I'm just too exhausted to concentrate on designing something. Bleh. Just today, feeling too exhausted from the work week I took a nap and that just ate half of my precious day. Yet after napping, I can STILL sleep at night without ruining my own sleep schedule. I guess I'm just that tired.

Something at work bit me. Now I'm paranoid and everything itches. Why is that I can't work in a clean environment? Daiso was(/is) dirty as hell. I had to do the vacuuming at Roots. Then the dentist place is well.. I gotta clean up after the nasty messes so yeah that's pretty bloody [literally] dirty. Sigh. Rantrantrantrant...

So the funny thing about this month... The first 15 days was truly happiness: new phone coming, a sh1t load of manga, everything was good. As soon at the 15th day hit, I found out I couldn't get my phone (and because I won't be getting my phone, my PLANS are RUINED), suddenly my allergies pop out of nowhere, I got cut under my tongue and everything stung like fack for a few days, the Rude Guy from work temp. went to another branch to help out so I was stuck with the little annoying *ahem* fucker for the next WEEK, I PKed down the work stairs, I got bitten(!), the list could be endless... I just hope this 不幸 misfortune doesn't carry on for too long (at least not for 15 days or something ;_;).

Well one thing that was good during this misfortunte period I got to watch BATMAN BEGINS! AND it was a damn good movie! The sfx and music really fit into the right spots~ It felt a little long at times though. I thank Mike for the lovely night. It was a nice change from the nasty work week.

Since I'm not getting my awsome phone... I'm looking for someone with a digicam that can record at least 2-3 mins (the more the better of course) so I can make a proper movie, unlike my out-of-date one that only takes 30secs max. Blah, my precious plans... Thanks Mr. Japanese Guy who sold my phone off to someone else. ;[[

OMFG 15 DAYS! DAYS! FIFTEEN! ONLY!

THIS. IS. INSANE!

I still haven't gotten my phone yet. APPARENTLY I MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK ER SOMETHING NOW! How depressing...

KOTOKO's new CD. It isn't as good as her Hane CD but still OK. She threw it an uber old song, Wing My Way, which looks a bit out of place but ah well... it's a good song so who cares. I think everyone would agree when I say RETRIEVE is an awsome song except the beginning drags on for a WHOLE MINUTE (and a half). I swear the first time I heard this song, I thought it was Faye Wong for a second there (at the beginning [深く暗く落ちてくしゅろの海 醒めてどこを目指すの 渦の真ん中で~♪])... yappa, Takase Kazuya rules~ <3<3

Annyyways, I tried NOT to spend money but guess WHAT! I went to the BOOKSTORE today and GOT MYSELF FURUBA FANBOOK NEKO VERSION RARARAHHGRAHR! I've yet to read it though :X I've been busy reading shocking tankoubon #17 and I think I still need some time to consume it. Furuba's freaking me out now XDDDD

Oh that reminds me.. I PK'ED AT WORK TODAY! And it hurt.. D: Those stairs man... they're EVIL! (Almost) Everyone I know has PKed on those stairs at least ONCE! WHY? CUZ IT'S BUILT TOO DAMN STEEP! Gee, if our company's making money.. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE STAIRS! Someone's gunna dieeeee (and I hope it's not me :b)... You know who I'm wishing to die though... silly brainless 0EQ twerp should die on those stairs. I'm tempted to start Work Rant #2.

Hungryyyy... need foooood. *looks at the time* O___O!

Ahem, SO! Let's talk about Hot Gimmick!
[spoiler for up to vol10]
Hahaha die Ryouki, I hate you! I'm glad Hatsumi broke up with you!! You suck you perverted bastid! But I bet they'll get back together again later though... since the whole series is rooting for them. Nooos! Looks like Azusa gets a new haircut in the preview.. doesn't look that good.. D: Anyways, the whole truth about the affair in vol9, wow that was shocking. Ryouki's dad's a bastid too! Ahh, his whole family's annoying~~ At least Shinogu gets a chance now. Gogo Shinoguuuuuu~
[/end spoiler]

NOW I GOTTA FIND SOMETHING FOR SEKI-SAN TO SIGN TOO!! UHHH?? MANGA?? NEWTYPE?? *SHRUGS*

OMG 21 days TO GO????! ありえねェェーっ!

AHH!!
I couldn't help but be overexcited when I found out that KOTOKO WILL BE AT AX!!! I know KOTOKO > Sakamoto Maaya BUUUUT.... uuuuwa, I wanna see Sakamoto Maaya too! WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO AND WATCH! (probably Kotoko :b) I found out at work (yes, surfing at work = bad) and I had difficulty keeping my excitement inside but... I managed. Now I gotta find something for KOTOKO to sign instead now!!

Lumines. Insane addictiveness that doesn't even feel like addictiveness, I swear. Keep it away from me.

Another thing... I can't believe they don't sell MobileMates here! C'mon Canada, what's wrong with you!

OH. NIGHT MARKET. Forgot to talk about THAT. Holy shat, it's busy as hell! But like every year, it's full of JUNK. GOOD JUNK. You'd want to buy everything yet everything's just JUNK! The stage performances were annoying. What were they thinking! I will be sure to waste more money the next time we visit. Don't Faze, Please.

Yay winnage! Spur of the moment bid attack.. I am crazy. 902SH pwned. :o

Ahahahaha I can't wait, it's driving me nutsss~ Patience. 'Cuz I've decided to grab the newer colour instead (the guy offered to get the latest colour for me if I'm willing to wait... I'm actually not willing but...!!). Screw orange. I'm sorry. As much as I would've liked it to match my hair but nah.

Oh, I'm a red head right now. In a week or two, I'll be orange. A month or less, I'll be blonde. I love my hair.

I'm currently quite obsessed with Hot Gimmick. Yes! The first time I read it, it was in Chinese and I didn't get much of it. I got my hands on a chunk of the series last week (going home with a mighty heavy bag of MANGA on the BUS) after waiting almost two months for my order to come in. Gosh, I marathoned it... Only managed 3 books a day with my busy schedule. I'm on the 8th right now.. I think I'll go grab myself 9 and 10 Wednesday while I'm at it. I'm rooting for Azusa and Hatsumi even though Azusa was a horrible person in the beginning... he's just too cool (and I feel sorry for him too ;[[[). XD Oooh I'm such a spender, I hate myself. And to think only 25 days left...

Life is still good.

So much to do in so little time.... Time to get ready for the start of another week!

Obession Over Phones...

Ah~ I've been busy...
Busy looking at THIS! ステキ~!
I want that. $600CAD UNLOCKED (no tax). I think that's worth it, you?

- Japanese/English Menu
- 2.02 facking megapixels w/ 2x optical zoom camera
- mp3 ringtones uh huh uh huh
- 3d sound :o
- games (I see MahJong...)
- video
- tri/quad/???-band (SOME INSANE BAND that's GLOBAL USABLE XP)
- 2.4 inch LCD screen
- bluetooth :E
- SD memory card slot
- barcode reader (OMG I WANNA TRY IT SO BAD! SCAN MY anti-perspriant! Yes my anti-perspirant has a bar code and yet no phones here have the scan feature, so why? :D I don't know! What a mystery...!!!)
- 180 rotatable screen w/ like 4 different ways to fold the damn thing

BLOODY HELL! It's so tempting I swear. Buy? No buy... buy? No buy...

It's ONLY 600! ONLY! AND I'M GOING TO LA IN A MONTH! Okay I guess I can't. FUCK.

Saving up money sucks.

Talking about saving money..
Mo^2's Part II of her party yesterday.
We woke up nice and early to... WATCH STARWARS EP3! at Sty's theatre for FREE! "Noooooooooo!" is our favourite scene; we couldn't stop crackin' up. Hayden's really bad at acting still... it's quite a disappointment. Not to mention, there were cheesy lines everywhere. BUT overall it was a fun... and rather choppy paced movie. Yay Obiwan! Ewan rocks :3 So after the movie we made our way to the Macaroni Grill for dinner where they served no Macaroni. We sat outside in the garden which was nice. I got to see Irene again after wow a year and she hasn't changed one bit XD... Later in the day, we started going a little crazy and started laughing at things that weren't even that funny. We blame it on the Bellinis. We had mussels and then the entrees we couldn't even finish. After food, I followed Sty back to her theatre where we experimented on gummy bears for a few hours. Interesting results. Expanding gummy bears. Oh yeah.

Apparently Iwase called me to pick up something. I don't know what it is... My parents didn't pay attention. I also need to go to the library to pick up that stupid book I put on hold two months ago that I completely forgot about and I do not really need anymore.

About the hair dying. I'll try out the other new lady some other time. Apparently the 35 isn't for the whole head but 50 for whole head w/ two colours is pretty damn cheap too. Ah well, I might as well go back to my old style so the peeps in LA will recognize me (or at least the back of my head LOL).

Did I mention how awsome Sengoku Basara looks now?? Damn... and the seiyuu cast is awsome. They recently updated with new characters and a movie. Koyasu Iyasu is Sarutobi Sasuke and damn.. does the character designer rock XD His character's hot stuff! If only they'd bring it over and keep the voices. That reminds me, they better keep the original or at least allow us to choose from japanese and english for Magna Carta. Nooo that can't remove Hoshi-niisama's voice AGAIN! I also saw the latest KH2 trailer a while back... mmm I can't wait. Summon Nights. English version, I demand NOW! They've yet to bring ANY of them over here... :/ Front Mission Online gets high points on the game ranks. Now the question is... are they going to bring it over? Yes... just finding more reasons to get back on PO. :b Games games games... I haven't even finished SO3 yet. Right, gotta do that first.

I also need to gather some courage to break the news for my LA 'vacation' to work. Yes, I've yet to do it. Gotta figure out who to tell.. how to tell... when to tell... gotta get ready for the shower of questions. Gulp. Oooh at least I finally figured out what I'm going to have Sakamoto Maaya sign for meee~ I need to make myself a checklist of stuff to do and get before the trip.

Weekend comes and goes. 4 weeks left to gooo~

Hot Hot Hot Hot...

Oi, it's hot and it has only JUST BEGUN!

So I finally found out why my paycheque timing was all retarded: Apparently, they have their own system where one day fine day long long time ago they decided to pick two dates (that nowhere relate) and permanently made those two dates paydays for every month. So strange.

Victoria day comes around... and NO WORK! What did I do? I can't remember. I guess it's was just like every other day off work. Which means it was good. (y)

HAPPY BIRFDAY MO^2!
She's old now. :3 Part 1 of her partay yesterday 'n we went to Rugby's. Saw some people who I haven't seen in ages (namely the Hwa's and DANIEL LIN!). Our waitress kept forgetting our orders to the point that me and Shi^2 had to cancel (well someone apparently brought cake and we ordered dessert, so... XP)... Mmm, I can't remember the drink name Daniel ordered (could be a Blow Job) for the two birthday peeps (Mo^2 and belated for some other guy..) but hidden inside the whip creme is a shot glass filled with alcohol. With no hands, they stuffed their face in the whipped creme to find the shot glass and then force the shot of something surprising down. Hehah, amusing. Anyways, fun times, fun times.

Oh, speaking of food my parents and I tried out Alleluya... We think it's opened by Christians. Kinda cool. :o

I still haven't decided where to go to get my hair coloured. My old place with only one colour or a new place with two colours and cheaper? Why not just choose the second one? Mmm... firstly because I don't know the person well.. second I haven't seen how well it has been done on others.. thirdly... two colours are so common! Everyone uses the same shades... but if I went a tried a new combo, it'd just look retarded. Okay, no, well the other reason is that I'm lazy to call the person up.. since I already booked an appointment with my old place weeks ago. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

It's Friday again today. I almost fell asleep as work... I was in a daze the whole day. Not because of the heat though... going home late and the lack of sleep = bad for a full day of work. I've become weak and feeble... Gotta regather energy for Part II.....!!

I'm sleepy again now. Damn the heat makes you sleepy.

Cramps, no good.

Long time no see Shi^2 and Mo^2~ We watched a free movie (thanks to Shi^2's 1337 skillz)... Kingdom of Heaven with no other than Orlando Bloom! Ahahaha, the movie was really good though, it's worth buying tickets for if I were to watch it again. :]] Then we had all-you-can-eat sushi but we forgot to reserve so we kinda ended up at SuiShaYa instead. :T It was still good... mmm, we left a bit early cuz Sty wasn't feeling all that great though. (not cuz of the food though :T -- we blame it on the theatre)

Mudders Dei the next day. I treated my mom family to dim-sum @ Fishermans (hefty $$ but good eating). Later that night we had dinner with the rest of the relatives at their favourite shack restaurant. It... was really bad. It became worse than usual since they rushed the dishes and some tasted really off. The food there isn't all that great but my relatives seem fond of the place so hey. However.. well.. I got sick that night cuz of the food so meh.. >_>;

The day after Mother's day, it was my bro's turn to treat. We ate at this restaurant in Richmond that had this set dinner my mom wanted. It was a bit too filling and the food came in the wrong order (we added a duck wrap thing and that came first, not the abalone.. which we all expected to come first o_o;)... but it was still good. Afterwards my bro wanted bbt.. lol. I suggested Bubble World and they were all satisfied with my choice since all the drinks came out perfect (as always) ;D!!

I got the strangest call earlier this week. In the middle of work, some company I've never heard of before calls me on my cellphone and asks me if I was still interested in working with them. I was like.. hm o_O I've never heard of you guys and I'm in the middle of work right now sooo I'll call you back later. They told me I submitted a resume to them a few MONTHS ago so they were said they weren't surprised if I couldn't remember who they were. I've really never heard of them before though. I went home and I searched up the people and apparently they're some caucasian bbt manufacturing company. Caucasian. You heard me!~! XDD I wanted to call them back Friday to ask for more info (since I am interested in their company, but not necessarily want the job(s)) but Rude Guy went to the other branch for that day, my hands were full (since I took over the front desk before 0EQ got to work XP) all day. When I WAS free and was going to make my call outside during my break, the door-repairing guy hired by the landlord was also on his break and started talking to me instead. He had no bad intentions and he didn't know I was about to make a phone call either. He does seem a bit lonely since he doesn't work, nor need to work, with anyone so I didn't mind making conversation. He makes a lot of money though... I think he said he can make 2k a week or when he's on a roll, 10k a month. lol, that's pretty insane. And the good thing is, he gets to work at his own pace (he might be an entrepreneur... not sure, I should've asked). Anyways, the bbt people even called me again Friday... but at home instead. I feel bad for not responding so I gotta try and call them back this week.

Ow, upset stomach now.

Oh yeah, Visa... points points get points get points.

0EQ has major issues. Both emotionally and probably mentally. He's the type of guy that wants control over everything, does more than he needs to, and sticks his nose whereever it fits and even when it doesn't, he forces it in. Got a good picture?

Today was another good example of 0EQ at his finest. Rude Guy went over to the other branch today since they needed help there. More on Rude Guy later. So it was only me and 0EQ and luckily it wasn't insanely busy today. Holy shiet, he's LOUD. Ok, that was already mentioned before in the past but... WOW, LOUD. SOMEONE, MAKE HIM WEAR A GAUZE OR A BIKER HELMET. Well, with one loud man (Rude Guy) gone, 0EQ makes up for Rude Guy's absence by turning up his volume! LOUD MAN! SHUT THE FUK UP!

After observing 0EQ the past month, I've noticed one too many annoyances. Wait, I don't even know where I should start... Well, he's a bad liar. That's not a rant but... *shifts eyes* gossip is good... so let me be!@!!! This one time the boss had a BBQ at his place and he said (with a very short but noticable hesitation) that he had to have dinner with his parents. The next day, the boss asked him again why he didn't show up and again (with a very short but noticable hestitation) that he had dinner with his uncle. And both times, he wasn't looking at the boss when he spoke. Hoho asshole! Ahem..

Did I mention the boss likes social gatherings? I've yet to go to one of them though. Oh, the boss is weird too.. maybe I'll go into detail about him some other time.

As soon as Rude Guy isn't around, 0EQ immediately takes over the front desk operations (HEY that's MY JOB! SHARE THE WEALTH HEY?)... And honestly, both Rude Guy and 0EQ aren't cut for customer service related jobs (or any other customer interaction-like). They're.... rude. SO. Rude. It's amazing how they were able to keep doing this for so many years and yet still have customers coming back. Well it's slightly different for Rude Guy but I'm leaving him for another day.

There's so much I can get into but I'll be brief from here on:

I've mentioned this before and I have to mention it again... Big, Complicated English Words & Phrases. One who does not know how to use them properly should NOT USE THEM GAWDDAMMIT. He does not realize the way he says it actually makes him seem more stupid than intelligent. But I must admit, it's quite amusing at times. How he gives directions to our location via phone: "Keep on straight go forward." A sarcastic remark: "A bit too enthusiasm, I would say." (and he says this twice). The correct phrase should be 'that's not surprising': "I'm not surprising! [insert laugh]" Hahah, now you see how bored I am sometimes at work. If it's amusing enough to keep me grinning, I write it down. So there's probably more to come in the future... fufufufu~ Look out for my Engrish Phrase of the Week 'er something. ;D

Damn. He's arrogant. He thinks he knows (by bragging lots), but he doesn't (gets proven wrong and just shrugs it off). o_o He tries to be funny but he's not. Tries to joke with the customers but they're not laughing. His misuse of English might be half of the reason. Well yeah, it can't be funny if it doesn't make any sense to begin with right.

Oh.. that reminds me. A few moments of bursting volcanos.....

I was talking with this lady on the phone who had trouble speaking in English and I felt bad not being able to help her so I asked her what other languages she was able to speak. She said Mandarin and since 0EQ was the only other guy around, I asked him to help me speak with the lady in Mandarin. He picks up and speaks English. WTF. Then I try and tell him she can't really understand English and she preferred Mandarin but WTF he kinda half nods at me with the 'yeah I got it covered already' and speaks nothing but English throughout the whole conversation and at the end, having to hang her up because of his shit temper. Bitch, I forwarded the phone to you because I wanted you to speak to her in Mandarin! If it's English, I can do that just perfectly fine without your damn help which at the end wasn't even helpful at all! *shake fist*

Another bursting volcano moment. I received something for the Accountant Lady (now known as BOBO -- will explain another day) and I asked if it was for her, he gives a half 'yea' which wasn't really a full yeah he kinda just made a noise. I was going to get up and pass it on to her, but he just takes out of my hand, goes to his own desk, puts it down and starts surfing on his fugly computer. HEY MAN, I was going to give it to her! Well that wasn't all that anger-worthy, but his half-nods/half-yea's are ムカー annoying as fuck. It's full of his snotty 'I got everything covered, but I'm not very good at covering everything'.

Yeah and about that 'I got everything covered, but I'm not very good at covering everything.' He likes to be in charge of everything. But due to his short temper and lack of patience... it kinda.. screws him over. So in a sense, it's not exactly his fault he's born like that but gee, since we gotta work in the same office, you kinda have to see him get screwed over on a daily semi-hourly basis. Since he's a guy that wants/has to know everything, he's also an evesdropper. This one time, a customer asked him something over the phone that was unrelated to him and he told the customer: 'I am not in charge of this blahblahblah, but I heard them [the higher ups in charge] blahblahblah and I know what's going on so...' and he spills the info. Hahaha.. "That's just evesdropping," is the first thing that came to mind when I heard him say that and I smirked. Damn that guy's messed.

When he's mad, he starts sending his angry vibes at everyone and gives off bad attitude. In cases like these, he continues to add onto his own stress by doing more than he has to do. Hey hey don't forget me~ That's why I'm here! But everyone knows about it and this one time, the Boss told me to tell him everytime he's angry: "Parking Lot. Go run a few laps." LOL! Too bad 0EQ was in a bad mood then; he didn't like the joke.

He also messed up this one time with the customer... he did this one task half-assedly and the customer got mad the next day. I was the one who picked up first and she demanded to talk to the guy she talked with the day before. Since we had more than one guy (Rude Guy, 0EQ and Nice Guy) I asked her for as much detail about the person as possible. And the BEST, most AMUSING description was "High-Pitched." OMG, I immediately knew it was 0EQ (Rude Guy is low and Nice Guy wasn't in charge with what we do) but I didn't wanna point it out immediately. I don't remember what happened right after, but the next thing you know, Rude Guy was on the phone with her and he asked her the same question as to whom the guy she was talking to was like. Soon enough, 0EQ realizes it was his fault and gets all pissy pissy everywhere and does his typical temper/whiny thing. Wooow, and Rude Guy gets mad at 0EQ and literally yells at him for being all pissy at his own wrong doing. Quite a sight. Like a dad yelling at his son...

Hmm, come to think of it... that's kinda bad.

'Tis May

I just came back from visiting a new Shoppers Drug Mart location in Richmond. The shaver section has an alarm system. So when you open up the transparent lid to grab a shaver, it beeps. The strangest thing.

It was Eleanor's dinner birfday party thing Sunday. Elie was trying to get ahold of me the whole week but her timing was really bad. For some reason that goes the same for Jo as well. People, if you wanna contact me, contact me at the right time! How? Um, you'll need luck. XDD

So last minutely, I was told to get a CAKE. Okay, so I had to call up a few Death by Chocolate places to find the right cake. So I finally found a place with the right cake, and I flew there and grabbed it. I was greeted by a tomboy Korean girl who didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for my cake. Another Korean guy comes to the front, all shady lookin' and everything, realizes I was the one on the phone and helps me out. I had him make me some wording so he went and made some fresh white chocolate to write the words. After he was done, he shuffled his way to me and showed me his crazily written birthday cake. Hahaha, awsome, I thought. Anyways, he was really nice and sweet though.

Dinner time comes around and I rush there first to drop off the cake. I am the first to arrive. Yey. After 10 mins, Jerry is the first to arrive. And then gradually others make their way there. Water spilling. Under the table grabbing. Change begging (by me). Cake mistake. Oh, about the cake. Stupid waiter Ken. He didn't know we had a cake for the birthday girl! And then he loses the candle! Turd! Anywhos, our present (from me and Mike) was probably the best (even though I didn't see what the other people gave her but... I can assume :x) since it came from ooOooh Swarovski which _I_ picked out *proud*. It's SOO CUTE XD! It was hefty but Mike wanted something from there so yeah! After dinner, half of the group went to drink while the other half jet. I was part of the jetting half since I had work the next day. Meh. Happeh Birfday Eleanorrrrrrrsssss! So old.

TAX RETURN! IT COMES! I FEEL A LITTLE BIT MORE RICH AGAIN!

OMG! MY CREDIT CARD COMES SOON! SOO SOON!

First day of MANDARIN CLASS! Amusing to no end! A much bigger class compared to the Japanese class (oh maybe 'bout ~13 ppl). There's a good variety of people (big small young old asian caucasian etc)... There's only one other Cantonese "speaker"; she looks/sounds white-washed but I've yet to find out what kind of "Cantonese" she claims she knows how to speak. There's also another girl who is half Cantonese and is definitely a CBC. We talked a bit, which was nice. A Korean girl sat beside me and expected me to be a UBC student like herself. She was in total shock or something like that when she found out I wasn't. Then to further brag she constantly mentions she's a UBC student in her introduction. Woo, good job girl~ There's also a father and daughter who're taking the class together (aww, cute XD) and other randoms. About the teacher now. She's a handful. She has big teeth...or just a big mouth. Apparently she taught Mandarin in Japan for (what was it?) 10 years so our material and the videos were either in Japanese or from a Japanese source. Oh, I think there's another person in the back of the class that knows Japanese too. When she asked who knew Japanese, I didn't raise my hand so that's good. The less they know about you, the better. IMHO anyways. :b They need not know, right? Anyways, continuing on... the teacher's english isn't all that great. And apparently we don't get to learn how to write. I'm so disappointed, BUT at least I get the vital pinyin crap learnt and dealt with. Man, she has the total countryside China accent...

So the first class was kinda rushed; too much material for one day. At least it was relatively easy to understand for me. It must be amusing for the teacher though... Imagine a whole class chanting "I am Canadian." (Wo shi ja ra da ren!)

Now, I need to sleep bad.
